okay so here is a total troll of a set prankster Murkrow (F) @ Eviolite Trait: Prankster EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Thunder Wave - Attract - Night Shade - Roost okay so this is pretty much self explanatory. its essentially a sableye with an evolite... so yea troll

oh and your right say scarfed gengar is also a problem
-
actually tenshi i completely agree with theg aredvoir set up. i just tested it. no treally my best idea. and alos the sand really helps with wearing down hp against my opponent. ive tested it in 5 battles so far and they all came down to the sand wearing them down. also alakzam is almost a guranteed sweep if you set it up at the right time to clarfy. the only piroirty to kill it wuold be a shadow sneak which is rarley used. and also i generally like to use a team of sweepers myself. rarely have i ever used strategy in my teams which may explain why this team might be less than quality, but from what ive noticed nobody wants to sweep anymore. everyone is all about weather stalls. oh and kinda skipped over this but the whole reason i picked magneton was sop it was different. i know it might not be astrong but most of the time it comes in handy bar fire/fighting aka nape and blazeiken... but for the msot part your description was correct...

Okay so my computer hates me. Today i tried doing this post during 3rd period and my laptop shut off. I then made a second attempt during 5th period and the same thing happened. but anyways... here it is. this is my sand team that i made when i got bored today. it basically is just a sand team that doesn't use your standard sand Pokemon ex- gliscor/ excadrill / garchomp / skarmory etc. okay here it goes i guess... oh yeah, tell me if i should change anything in your opinion. okay here is the lead. i really love using this Tenshi-Boah set because its the only tyranitar set that works in my opinion. oh and i know ttar is that different but i need something to start the sand right? Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 100 SAtk / 76 Spd Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Focus Punch - Fire Blast - Substitute - Crunch okay next up is my regular calm mind Alakazam. i really really really like Alakazam in sand because of its speed as compared to Reniciculous. switch in when you know your opponent will switch and get in your calm mind. pretty much a guaranteed sweeper. Alakazam (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Psyshock - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast okay following Alakazam is Sharpedo. and i know everyone is going to say WHAAAAA???? but Sharpedo is amazing as a late game sweeper in sand with its speed boost. its leftovers also cover the damage being lost from sand. or you can go life orb if you want the extra strength boost. Sharpedo (M) @ Leftovers / Life Orb Trait: Speed Boost EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Protect - Ice Fang - Waterfall - Crunch okay here is your rain counter. Magneton is even better than its evolved form Magnezone. this is because of its item evolite. this give its defenses an outstanding boost. you switch in on a ferrothorn or other steel so they cant switch out, you than sub and charge beam. this wont be too hard because steel types are piss poor at countering other steels. once you get your special boosts from charge beam you have thunder for stab and either flash cannon or hidden power fire for a move selection. Magneton @ Eviolite Trait: Magnet Pull EVs: 96 Def / 208 SAtk / 204 SDef Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Thunder - Substitute - Charge Beam - Hidden Power [Fire] / Flash Cannon okay so next up is one of my favorite lesser know sand Pokemon. Infernape is awesome because of this sets hit and run style. its meant to have like no health because of life orb and sand wearing it down. just use your over heat or other move to revenge kill and then u turn your but out to lose the stat changes. it works out quite well. Infernape (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Blaze EVs: 128 Atk / 128 SAtk / 252 Spd Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Overheat - Hidden Power [ice] - Mach Punch - U-turn okay finally on our sand team we have Gardevoir. this set for Gardevoir is very good in sand because trace can trace another weather sweepers abilities. for instance your ttar goes down against a ninetales or Politoed. and then comes out there sawsbuck or kingdra. with trace you can copy their ability of chlorophyll or swift swim. with the boost of the speed ability and your scarf you can out speed and kill them. or if your against no weather he is a great sweeper and pokemon with trick to switch out of the scarf. Gardevoir (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Trace EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Trick - Hidden Power [Fire] - Focus Blast Okay so tell me what you think, suggest pokemon or changes to the sets. and thanks a lot

Even thought i kind of lol'd at the 4 point and 6 point (toward the end). im actually glad someone brought this to everyone's attention. but can there be something added about excessive use of curse words. because when im battling or in main chat and you've got somebody saying fuck every other word its kind of offensive/annoying. i agree with not censoring completely but extremely excessive use, in my opnion at least, shouldn't just be tolerated.

Kanga Lead Kangaskhan (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Scrappy EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Fake Out - Sucker Punch - Ice Punch - Return this set i kind of peiced together by battling other kangaskhan. works very well as a lead because of fake out, which can even effect ghosts because of his ability scrappy which allows normal type moves to affect ghosts. the same prpperty also works with retunrn. sucker punch is to take care of low health situations, as well as the ghosts who dont die from fake out. ice punch is really just a filler. althought ive seen it work quite well against gliscor

Alakazam (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Calm Mind - Focus Blast ok literally, the only difference in this set than ikaru's is calm mind. the strategy is a little different though. for this say youve got a toxic staller/ ferrothorn, like stated in ikaru's set, they cant affect you because of magic guard. so you switch into these opponents and make there moves usless. what else would your oopnent do but switch. so here is your chance to get a calm mind in. this give you a boosted sp attack which is very good because of desicion to max speed. plus you get somoe more sp def to hel the frailness of your zam and make it take at least one sp attack hit.

I ran these sets on the PO server where swif swim is banned (as well as on Smogon and on PBC.) I feel like agailty would be a much bigger help on those servers. however if you are on Reborn or a server where swift swim is aloud in OU, I would agree that thunder wavw would be a better option. and thank you i added evs on the mixed recovery set.

Well here are two rain sets ive been using for Dragonite. I feel like Dragonite's true potential can be unlocked in the rain Speedy sweep Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility/thunder wave - Hurricane - Thunder - Surf the theory behind this set is to hide behind multi scale and and set up an agility to boost your speed to roughly 450. able to out speed any normal unboosted pokemon. ten pikc your poison with each match up you face. hurricane takes care of most and has raised accuracy. Thunder for a little extra on bulky water pokemon and also boosted endurnace. Surf to take care of steel pokemon which hurricane and thunder wont take care of + gets the power boost in rain. Mixed recovery in rain Dragonite (M) @ leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 200 SAtk/ 255 Spd/ 75 Atk Hasty Nature (+Spd, ) -Outrage -Hurricane -roost -thunder On my rain team which happens to rape the ladder on PO and the other big servers, i use the previous set which is all special attack. but if you have a rain team and you need a filler towards endgame where youve figured out most of you opponents pokemon i would use him. if you get in the previous situation a lot where your down to 2 pokemon and your opponent has 3, and your trying to stage a comeback, this set is perfect because of its variety. it can really hit hard. but caution warning: ONLY USE OUTRAGE ONCE YOU ELIMINATED THE CHANCE OF FERROTHORN. if that then hes the perfect endgame sweeper. Again pick your poison for the moves and hell do you good
-
I rreccomed the same set as Serena, but io recommend using waterfall instead of earthquake because of coverage. floying types and levitate screw earthquake. especially gengar because of levitate and hes poison type.
-
HItmonlee @ leichi berry/ fighting gem trait:unburden 255 attack, 255 speed - close combat - endure - blaze kick - rock slide ok so whats up with all dis hi jump kick, i need accuracy for my moves. this set youll see is kind o fsimmalar to n8's set, but at the same time different. he is usally maent for a lead btu can be used anywhere for this. the whole trick is what pokemon are you faceing. if youve facing a fortress, obviously dont endure but close combat his ass. if youve got a nine tales lead to face you endure. you get an attack boost from your berry, and by using your berry you get to increase speed through unburden. herer me now you wont sweep more than two pokemon most of the time. is low defense and weakness to scizor (very common) will kil him if bullet punched. still very good set. if you go with fighting gem, he should be used not as a lead. swithc him into a steel type or a dark type for a close combat and use the unburden technique.

well i cant really have a golem considering im playing on vba meaning i cant trade, if i did this would be so much easier. i inally got past the first 2 elite 4, and now im contstaly repeatting the poison one. weird tat im ground and i cant beat poison right. these damen gengar and there levitate

i made a team with the very same theme a few months ago, it wasa doubles team with thundorous, togekiss (use follow me on togekiss and set up thundorus) then lanturn, jolteon, and rotom W to set up my electivre while all using discharge except my thundorus and electivire. and it crushed ame's team so yeah its a good idea.
-
ok since my last post i have been playing no stop and have made it to the elite 4. (Ame, i beat sabrina on my first try...) Mypokemon are as follows Nidoking lvl 45 (his att- 96, his sp attack- 94) -surf -fire blast -thrash -megahorn Nidoqueen lvl 44 -Toxic -Superpower -strength -Dig Marowak lvl 44 -bonemerang -bone club -headbutt (soon to be thrash) -aerial ace Dugtrio lvl 45 (probably my weakest for lack of moves) -dig (soon to be equake) -slash -mudslap -rock tomb Rhydon lvl 45 -stomp -equake -double edge (rock head ability) -rock blast (soon to be megahorn) amd hm slave p.s. loreal is impossible, ive never wanted to game shark for rare candies more in my life. i feel like i would be cheating by doing this, so i guess i have to train if i want to stand a chance ):
-
ok so worst thing ever, i trained a nido queen and a rhyhorn up to lvl 37 with my oter three pokemon, and when i went to go save on my visual boy advance emulator.... i accidently hit load game instead so now im back to a cubone lvl 22 and no more marowak or the other two pokemon. i havent even beat the poke tower anymore. oh and Ame, Sabrina wont be fun
-
ok so, ive traveld through the rock tunnel to lavender town. made my way to celadon city and defeated Giovanni at sliph co. after this my pokemon are each lvl 36 my nidoking and my dugtrio. now i am at the pokemon tower. i have beaten my rival green and have just gotten my poke flute after saving the old man t the top. on my exploits throught the pokemon tower i have obtained a cubone. i caught him at lvl 17 and have trained him alone through the pokemon tower. he is now a marowak at lvl 30. current pokemon Nidoking- lvl 37 Dugtrio- lvl 37 Marowak - lvl 30 Diglet- lvl 19 (hm slave) drowzee- lvl 17(hm slave) *im considering teaching my nidoking surf and and fire blast because his evs and ivs are peferct for a mixed nidoking, his potential moveset would be fire blast, surf, thrash, and brick break
-
ok so ive been playing for a little bit longer, in fire red my pokemon have grwon to lvl 34. iver beaten Lt. Surge and obtained the thunder badge. not to hard considering im mono ground. since then ive picked up a diglet and a dorwzee. i have 2 hm slaves now but only 1 counts sice diglett is ground. current pokemon nidoking- lvl 34 dugtrio- lvl 34 droqzee- lvl 17 diglett- lvl 19
-
alright so after about an hour and hal of commitment to my mono ground team, ive beaten brock and misty. mind you i beat them with a nidoking alone. probably the hardest thing ive ever done. now i have just caught a dugtio and have goten of the ss anne. i am in the process of finding an hm slave. pokemon thus far: Nidoking lvl 30 Dugtrio lvl 30 *best part, i hhavent gone out of my way to train

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 255 HP / 255 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Leech Seed - Spikes - Power Whip - Thunder Wave very simmalr to tenshi's. switch in for your best wall usage, and then thunderwave to stop there counter the next turn. set upi with leech seed so constant recovery with occasional pauses from you ropponent due to thunder wave. while your sucking the life out of your opponent set those spikes up to troll those sashes hard and power whip to beat taunt and take out sp def watter stallers (jelleceint)

hax master ninetale f @wide lens trait- drought evs- 252 sp def, 252 speed, 4 sp attack timid nature +Spd, - atk - hypnosis - confuse ray - heatwave/ fire blast / solarbeam (pick your poison) - dream eater Ok so this guy comes in handy quite often. the main thing you do is use your boosted accuracy hypnosis to put your opponent to sleep. next comes confuse ray. then comes dream eater, or your choice move to to take down dark or bug types. most of the time with ninetales somewhat bulk she can take a hit, but usually theyll just be confused because they cant work it off during their sleep. after they wake up repeat. pretty much a haxy, slow, very good ninetales. oh yeah i make all my pokes female to kill attract.

its kind of almost identical to what the first gym was in anime for the unova league. youd understand if you watch the show
