Good news everyone! E18 community is out, and SWM has been updated too! A few changes: EggPicking was removed, swapping Scripts.rxdata is no longer necessary (thanks to the devs including the only changed line in the unmodded game), and there are a few new modules which @DreamblitzX helped me test/debug (thanks again!). Also, I've episode-locked every mod in the pack - trying to use them with the wrong Reborn episode will exit the game. (You have a self-fulfilling permission to use them in another Episode - meaning that if you know how to remove the lock, then I trust that you also know what you're doing ^^) The new modules: BagSortByType adds the option to sort the bag by type. Well, actually it sorts by custom order... you can edit it in-game (changes will be saved in an external .txt file in your savegame folder). (The default order has been provided by @DreamblitzX, who was nice enough to rework the mess I had left behind the previous default order.) Mouse enables the mouse in-game. Most things are clickable, the cursor is temporarily definitive (it's temporary in that it's a placeholder, but it's also definitely the best I can do), and you can move by clicking on the ground. Click on yourself to activate/turn around. @Alfred1346 Please check if you're still getting that error with the E18 version of the modpack.

You need a compatibility patch: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gov02z03QCcFKw42xhklxpO5vQNIm6Yw/view Install the Follower, then install SWM in the Follower's folder, then put the patch in the Follower's Data\Mods folder

Here you are: fed blue moon ice cream, just beat Adrienn. https://www.sendspace.com/file/n7mrfd

I don't @JoquimViana You can download the Sandbox mod from http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/27076-pokemon-reborn-sandbox-mode/ In case you can't find the direct link in that page, it is https://mega.nz/#!s5t0CaRA!Piu8BSU0PAefh0JdUj3aEAbxOQf9rTEeXOdUr-SiIdk If you want to use the Sandbox with SWM, then you'll need a compatibility patch too: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jTyAkNqMHjuaU6qDMoB893z12ZNZmJK4 How to use the compatibility patch: 1. Extract the Sandbox mod 2. Extract SWM inside of the Sandbox's folder - if it doesn't ask to overwrite something then you're doing it wrong 3. Extract the compatibility patch in Data\Mods inside the Sandbox's folder.

It would be possible to allow any overworld-usable ability in the TM mod, but I've decided against including things like headbutt because it is never needed for exploration and because, as far as I know, there's no headbutt TM.

Please try resetting the weather ("Reroll weather week" -> go inside -> go back outside) before changing it.

1. Download the Follower mod from http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32297-follower-pokemon-for-e17/ 2. Extract the downloaded archive (it contains a standalone version of the Follower mod; there's no need to copy it into the unmodified Reborn's folder) 3. Install SWM in the extracted folder 4. Copy the compatibility patch into the Mods folder 5. Run Reborn from the extracted folder
-
That's the way to do it
-
Please make sure that you're installing SWM on top of the Follower mod before applying the compatibility patch. You see, the Follower mod changes many map files and modifies many scripts; the compatibility patch contains those scripts in a format compatible with SWM, but you also need the modified maps (and other content added by the Follower) in order to properly use it. This, by the way, is why you should install the Follower first (by downloading it from its topic).

Also, one of the cops says that they're pretending to ignore 7th street for now, so that they can easily keep an eye on the gangs there while the restoration goes on in the rest of the city.

IIRC in my Poison mono this was one of the easiest gyms (though not as easy as the Fairy one, of course): Toxic should handle that ??? type with ease, and you can use the time that that takes to set up for the Garchomp. Other than that, as already stated, please do post your team: this way more experienced trainers might be able to properly help you.

Updating SWM to E18 should be pretty fast, so it will probably happen when the forum version will be released. (I fully expect a few of the modules to not even need being changed at all) I may not be able to play E18 myself for a while though; this means that I might upload the E18 update for SWM with minimal testing (just to make sure that the modules still do what they're supposed to), but since it is just an update this shouldn't cause trouble. Hopefully.
-
@JCnoiado you need to use the compatibility patch ( under the section "compatibility with other mods" )
-
Check your control/keybinds settings; maybe they accidentally got set wrong. If you're using a gamepad, try if unplugging it and using the keyboard instead solves the issue. You see, this mod actually changes very little from the base game: it mostly adds, and this means that the kind of issue you're having is probably not caused by it.
-
Yep, you need to see them... sorry, it seems that your PC is simply not powerful enough to run the game smoothly

The archive in the link contains a "data" folder; you have to copy everything (as it is) from this "data" folder into Reborn's own "data" folder. After you've done this, just start the game and check if the performance is improved. If, after having checked the performance without the trees, you want that the game goes back to fully drawing the trees: 1. Delete the file "Scripts.rxdata" 2. Rename the file "Scripts - Original.rxdata" to "Scripts.rxdata"
-
https://www.sendspace.com/file/12ebsv Download this archive and extract it inside of Reborn's install folder. It will ask for permission to merge the Data folder and to overwrite the file "Scripts.rxdata"; say yes to both. (The archive contains a backup copy of the original "Scripts.rxdata", so making a backup before overwriting it is not really necessary). (Please note that the link above, being a SendSpace link, will eventually expire).

Alright - I've made a compatibility patch between SWM and Sandbox (there wasn't much that needed to be patched tbh); install SWM on top of the Sandbox, then extract the patch inside of the "Reborn/Data/Mods" folder. Link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jTyAkNqMHjuaU6qDMoB893z12ZNZmJK4

It *might* be the trees (they have to be painted twice - it's difficult to explain), but if so then there isn't much that can be done... your PC is simply not powerful enough Please try using this file and check if you get any improvement: [deleted, see below] (It will simply skip drawing the top half of the trees; to use it, copy it into the "Mods" folder) (If you're not using any modular mod, you'll have to install one from the Mod Market here in the forum. You don't need the full mod, just the "Scripts.rxdata" file and the "Data/Mods" folder, even empty, so that this file can be loaded). If your game stops being slow, then it's the trees - you can either keep playing without their top half or get a new PC. If your game is still too slow, then the problem lies somewhere else.
-
Mmm... as far as I know the trees in Reborn aren't actually trees (they're tiles, they're drawings of a tree), and thus they shouldn't slow your system down more than the city maps do. Then again, as @Bearadactyl pointed out, Reborn needs a kind of optimization that may not even be possible for the devs, and even if it were possible it would still be a huge load. I know only one more trick that might help: have you tried using the SpeedHack feature from CheatEngine? Since it forces a change in your processing speed, it might be helpful.
-
Well, that's the problem then: to make them work together, you'll need a compatibility patch. Please try using this file, courtesy of @DDriggs00 : Scripts.rxdata
-
Don't go there? Yep, Reborn could use some optimization, but that would be a lot of work for dubious rewards... I mean, it's laggy but you can still play, can you not? How bad is the lag? If the weather is a problem you could use a mod to change it, or better yet you can actually force it to bug out: 1. Move your system date to 2028 2. Keep moving it 1 day forward (then enter an house and exit again, to refresh the weather) until you get clear weather 3. Save 4. Put your system date back to the correct time This will get your weather stuck to clear weather for 10 years, which should be enough.
-
Looks like one of the scripts is missing... are you perhaps using another mod in conjunction with the Sandbox, or did you for any reason change the file Reborn/Data/Scripts.rxdata?
-
Assuming that you're talking about the Sandbox, then this is a problem only if you didn't extract it (.rar files are compressed archives, and can't be used as they are). I'd suggest using 7zip in order to extract the contents (it's a pretty useful and versatile tool). After you've extracted the archive, amongst the extracted files you should find a Data folder, and inside of the Data folder you'll find the file Scripts.rxdata. If you don't know how to add that line to Scripts.rxdata then please send me that file (you can upload the extracted Scripts.rxdata to https://www.sendspace.com/). (Or maybe you could use the file @DDriggs00 edited, if he wants to upload it - but first, you need to get the unmodified Sandbox to work.)
