  1. You have to copy the whole folder, not just the files; the mod looks for files in the PokemonReborn/Data/Mods/ folder. Scripts.rxdata is the only file that needs to be in PokemonReborn/Data/ Also, please make sure that you didn't install E17 in the same folder as E16
  2. Remove its file from the Mods folder.
  3. Ok, then we can say that that was the problem. Have fun!
  4. Maybe then it is indeed as you wrote, and it has problems with it being inside E16's folder... have you tried moving E17 to D:/Pokemon Reborn 17-0-2/ (so that the path is D:/Pokemon Reborn 17-0-2/Data/Mods/) or something similar? Another option would be to just be happy that you got it working, even though we don't know for sure the reason
  5. Maybe... the modded scripts.rxdata looks for the path of the current process. Now that you mention it, I think I read somewhere that win10 has problems with some program paths (iirc if the program is installed in Program Files, because in some localizations it has another name) Please try this file, it will tell you what path is it looking for exactly (so that you can check if it is the correct install path): https://www.sendspace.com/file/c14oqj
  6. The problem is win10 then. (No actual reason, I just don't like win10 ) (On a more serious note: did you try the file? Did it find the contents in the Mods folder?) (P.S: What do you mean you broke the game? You're a brute! )
  7. Me niether, actually The problem might be that, for some reason, the game cannot find the folder or its files... please try to use this Scripts.rxdata file (it will give out a message immediately before the loading screen, stating whether or not it did find files in the Mods folder and how many. If it doesn't find any file, then it can't find the Mods folder or its contents) https://www.sendspace.com/file/u68vfm Also, are you using windows or another operating system?
  8. Well, if you do have the "Control weather" option it means that the mod is installed and loaded correctly... what is the problem you're experiencing?
  9. What do you mean? Do you get an error message or nothing at all? If the latter: please check that the extension is ".rxdata" and that there are files inside the Data\Mods folder. If both are ok, please make sure that you have the file "SetWeather" in the Data\Mods folder and check if you do have the "Control weather" option in the pokegear.
  10. Yes: every file in the Mods folder is loaded by the modded Scripts.rxdata file.
  11. Give me the time to download E17 first, at least! XD
  12. Alright, helpful response: something similar was asked already, and I said i was willing to mod it in the game. I did. It's ready. I'm just waiting for the community release of E17.
  13. As already noted, it's not that easy. It is not that hard either.
  14. The game script works like this: every mon (who participated or has the exp share) gets a "base" exp from the battle depending on the enemy and on the number of participants/expshares. This "base" exp then gets modified by the presence of (for example) lucky eggs and by the level scaling. Only mons who are not fainted get the exp (so if 2 mons participate and one faints, the other one gets the full experience). Then, every mon who got more than 0 exp from the battle gets the full EV gain. (For some reason i can't quote directly or tag anyone in this thread, even though I can in other threads... sorry)
  15. It is, but imo it'd better if you just stored the SharedPC.rxdata files somewhere and changed them around to access the whole collection.
  16. Afaik both the battler and the expshare holder get the full EV. Imho if the total exp the team gets was the same that a lone battler would get and if only the battler(s) got the ev, then it would not end up overpowered... If noone else is willing to do this, I *could* try to add this component to my mod when I'll update it to E17.
  17. You probably forgot to copy the .ini file too; both the .rxdata and the .ini files from the archive are needed.
  18. It will not work, but I'll try to update it as soon as possible. (Explanation: modding Reborn's scripts requires editing the file "Scripts.rxdata"; since for E17 that file will be heavily changed, using the E16 version of this mod -or any script mod, actually- would mean overwriting every update at best, or getting an unplayable crash-fest at worst) If I'm able to, yeah. You too
  19. Yep. The latter is more intense than the former
  20. Mmm... maybe you could try a "no dual types" run? I don't think there are many (if any) of those around and I'm not sure if it would even pose enough of a challenge to be interesting, but since you're asking for ideas...
  21. Maybe dr Sigmund would be a better fit for Lawful Evil? After all, he's trying to keep his sadism within the laws, and only slips towards chaotic when he's been denied his torture subjects...
  22. Pain. It means that lots and lots of pain is about to come onto our poor teams. But I have faith in my mons and in the soft reset...
  23. Nope, sorry, not as far as I know. Guess you're just being unlucky...
