It is possible, yes. Two possible ways (afaik): 1) You could use two online accounts. (http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/25983-any-way-to-transfer-pokemon-between-save-files/) 2) You could use a mod (this one makes box 35 shared among all your savegames; save the game once the first time you use it, then changing box 35 in a savegame will change it in all savegames you load after that): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4XiRtkwr4blLXdlX29BU3ZZQ0E

Pick a starter and go in the Party menu, the one where you can access info on your mons and give (or take) items; there should be an option to change your starter. This option disappears once you leave the room.

Just the mod. In case redownloading the mod doesn't work, can you please verify that it is not the game that got corrupted? You could do this by trying to use the original scripts.rxdata... since you mentioned overwriting it, I'm uploading the one I have backed up: https://www.sendspace.com/file/lyrivw
-
Mmm, then maybe it got corrupted somehow... Have you tried downloading it again?
-
Ok, that's a very informative error message XD Alright, googling it I found that it can give that message if you or your computer rename one of the files... if you didn't rename any of the original or modded files, then your computer did when you downloaded or extracted them. Please check: > the .rxdata file has to be named exactly "Scripts.rxdata" (without the quotes of course) and placed in the "\RebornInstallFolder\Data\" folder; it's the one that already contains the original Scripts.rxdata file (failing to do this will give that error message) > the original Scripts.rxdata can be safely backup-ed by renaming it "Scripts - Original.rxdata" and leaving it in its folder (that's what I did, and haven't encountered problems yet) > the .ini file has to be named exactly "aaaActiveMods.ini" and placed in the same folder where Scripts.rxdata is (failing this will not give this error message but will still crash the game) P.S. Also, which os are you on? Windows, linux, or mac?
-
Did you copy the ini file too? It's important, the modded scripts.rxdata looks specifically for that file. Aside from that, I don't know... maybe with some more info I could help you, but without even knowing what the error message says I really have nothing to work on to help you...
-
Can you screenshot the message please?
-
Just place scripts.rxdata (make a backup of the original first) and aaaActiveMods.ini in your Reborn/Data/ folder. You can edit aaaActiveMods.ini to choose which of the mod's components do you want to be active.

Imho the better question is: why didn't you take Fern's offer? You inflate that moron's ego a little and for that you get something you really need (as far as your character knows). It's not even that high a price to pay, for actions speak louder than words and you never lost a fight with him, regardelss of how great* he thinks himself to be. (*Though I suspect he's more a case of Inferiority Superiority Complex... you know, brilliant sister, all of his friends are leaders... he keeps getting beaten by the newbie...)
-
Anyway, why did nobody mention Vespiquen, who has very good defensive stats and learns Toxic and Heal Order by level-up?
-
Skuntank can even solo Arceus... at least, mine did (Well, almost did... he would have done it if only I didn't decide to not use potions on him since after all I still had 5 full-hp mons)
-
If you're looking for a challenge, you could also go for an "early"-run... that is, only mons that you can get before fighting Julia.
-
I refused because that's what Lin wanted us to do. Imho we should have asked any of our mons to break the cell doors... not being able to do so reminded me terribly of this:
-
I wonder if there could be a way of rewarding players for sticking with their original team? Mmm... maybe it could be combined with the unlimited IV that some hackmons are given... What about rewarding IV points to all the pokemon in the party for every defeated non-rebattlable trainer, based on the difference between the trainer's team average level and your current badge's max level? Limiting it to non-rebattables would make it impossible to use it to train mons - it'd be a too much limited resource, and only the earliest mons would get those extra points. Binding it to the level difference would make it useless to purposely "save" trainers for later - that level 10 streetrat won't give IVs to your Goomy post-Adrienn. We already know that IVs over 31 do not break the game engine nor forbid online play, so that's not a problem. (Maybe a copy of the original IVs should be saved in a separate array, so that breeding can use those instead of the bonus ones).
-
Afaik you'll just end up with 2 pokemon from the same evolutionary line.
-
And then you proceed to just stuff them in the PC. You monster. ><
-
I'd like to point out that the .ini file currently included in the mod can be edited to disable its components, if you don't like them. Which event are you tring to get? Are you sure its other requirements are satisfied?
-
I think you got a few separate sidequests mixed up XD Let's see... >After you got your pokemon stolen in 7th street and went to the police, the police chief tells you that the thief has been sighted in 3 locations: the lake, the rails in Peridot, and the woods in Jasper. You need to check out all 3 locations to find him. >I don't know which goggles you're referring to unless you're talking about the Scope... until confirmation from you I won't spoil this one explaining what's it about. >In the power plant (Shade's gym) you need to find the 2 locked rooms; in one you can evolve a certain pokemon, in the other you can find another pokemon in an event after you turn off the power (no switches - you need to take out the... "generators")

Just wanted to add that Sturdy/Focus Sash->Endeavor->Quick Attack/Ice Shard doesn't work unless you have Quick Attack/Ice Shard on a second mon with very high Attack: Solaris' Garchomp seems to have Rough Skin (it did when I tried), so your first mon will kill itself after Endeavor. And then Solaris will Full Heal the Garchomp, so good luck using Endeavor again now that the first mon is fainted and the Focus Sash is used. I can confirm though that a Sturdy mon with lots of potions can beat it. (Used all my common candies on my Sturdy Magneton, then kept feeding it Lemonade until Garchomp struggled itself to death - used about 60 lemonades, luckily I had stocked up 99 of them at the Spyce and never used them XD )

(I would suggest Ground and Poison types for Corey though rather than Steel... the former is resistant and supereffective, while the latter is immune to poisoning)
-
I don't like the available starters, but having to suggest one I too would say Fennekin... it's very useful for the first gyms, in addition to its typing being a direct counter to all of the three rivals (Fire is great vs Fern's Grass, and Psychic is great against Victoria's Fighting and Cain's Poison).

As PoisoNJab wrote, you can't breed Toxic on a Grimer. What you can do though is stick with your Grimer until the E16 content, where you'll be able to get the Toxic TM.

There always is a risk in pretty much everything in life. There is no reason for this to break anything though (that's as far as I know of course: this mod just changes the planned weather for today in the area you are in - and the game plans the week's weathers at the start of every week, so this change always gets overwritten in a week at most unless you messed with the calendar in the wrong way), and I did recently finish a full playthrough without encountering problems with a modded starter and using the weather selection.

Ok, this is not right - I've removed the link for now. Thanks for letting me know. EDIT: I've put the link to a version that forbids choosing pokemon that the game recognizes as legal but that are not on the available list here on the site. The problem still exists, but now this mod should not allow it to be exploited. I think I've also managed to make the components optional (just edit the included .ini file).

I don't think so (how could it?)...
