Isobel smiles and waves when Wyvis greets them. "Hello, Wyvis! I have to admit, I was kind of unsure about everything when we set off for the mission, wasn't sure I was up to it, but I guess that everything did work out after all!" LOTUS looks briefly upwards at Isobel. "Don't go getting TOO comfortable with these missions, they are combat missions to unknown places, after all."
-
Navin couldn't help but smile a little bit at her complaining about having a bad time taking some sort of "holy dragon book" -- he'd known plenty of people who had had... interesting experiences searching out artifacts. "Ah, no, I haven't properly introduced myself yet. My name is Navin Mhasalkar, and it is a pleasure to meet you, Marisa." Being as formal as he was, Navin proceeded to follow this up with a little bow. "I believe a couple of pieces of the furniture in here have been fixed recently, if you're looking for somewhere to rest."
-
"Ah, duly noted. I'm afraid I'm part of a group that just appeared at this castle just a few hours ago, so the whole thing is rather confusing for us, still." He put a hand on his chin, looking upwards as he tried to remember anyone named Edmond. "I'm afraid I haven't met anyone named Edmond. Maybe he's just one of the earlier group to arrive here, or maybe I simply have not met him. I have seen the orc though. Mar, I think I heard his name was? The last I saw of him he had headed into some sort of portal, and he had been working on some sort of quarry project on the world this castle took off from a couple of hours ago."
-
When he had left the strange, eldritch restaurant and returned to the castle, Navin had headed over to the Servant's Quarters in order to get a few minutes of rest, and indeed had sat in a particularly intact chair for a while and had fallen asleep surprisingly comfortably. When Marisa arrived, those few minutes he had wanted had just arrived -- Navin hadn't rested enough to completely rejuvenate him, but thanks to the rest and the earlier meal, he was no longer anywhere close to as dead tired as he had been earlier. So the sound, fire, and smell woke him up and attracted his attention, and the superhero found himself looking at a woman he hadn't seen before (Marisa), though that was a common thing recently. He addressed her: "Oh, excuse me. Would you be another new summon like me, or one of the more experienced people here?"
-
When the castle stops off and picks up those who had helped the Overwatch team in Rio de Janeiro, Isobel and LOTUS reenter the building, and stay in the Entrance Hall for a little while as the others come in, deep in conversation between themselves. "Look, I... just don't really like the way you looked at that, you know? We're here to help people, right? But you were so cold about the thing with Sombra, and I just... it isn't right." "Well, Isobel, if you want to make moral decisions you are completely capable of doing so on your own. My purpose and my skill is in analyzing situations logically, and to fulfill the twin goals of helping you, my holder, and of helping many of my previous holders, I am going to do exactly that." "Yes, but... doing things right hasn't hurt us so far, yet?" "It hasn't hurt you, but some of my previous holders were not so lu... shh." Though she immediately wants to ask what LOTUS is noticing, Isobel does stop talking, and then hears the voice from the throne room area -- but it doesn't appear to be any sort of plotting, and when Isobel peeks in from the corner, she sees what are probably just two more arrivals, given how the two had been summoned themselves. LOTUS shifts the expression on his screen to a vaguely wary one, but it's hard to tell given that it's just a dot face. "Oh, hello...? Would you perhaps be new arrivals summoned to this castle?"
-
"Well, I do believe that that concludes that!" Navin quickly finishes the rest of his curry, before making his quick way over to the castle, choosing some modest accommodations to perhaps get some rest in, or even merely to simply sit in -- the Servant's Quarters.

Navin crosses his hands over his mouth for a moment while he ponders, further pleasantries eschewed in favor of contemplating the heavy news. "...hmm. We don't know what kind of threat we are specifically facing, not yet, but I think that perhaps our problems are connected?" He brought his hands down to the table. "All we know is that there are beings going out and destroying worlds, but I do think the chances may be in our favor there. This kind of meeting, after all, is quite likely to be part of the workings of fate."

"It would seem that most of us who are presently here got teleported into that castle while most of the more informed people are gone, which has led to us, frankly, mostly just stumbling around for a while until they return." Navin adds on.

"Uh, I... I don't honestly know what to think. I mean, she... did help us, but isn't she a part of that group that you said did a bunch of a bad things? But she did help us... I don't know..." "Well, speaking from a standpoint of expected utility, I think I do. I think we should just let Zarya and Lucio take her. Maybe Sombra could have been an ally later on, but that's not overly high a utility, nor overly high a probability of gaining that payoff. But turning her in gains the support of Overwatch, a much more reliable organization -- even if the payoffs were or are similar, the probability that we'll get utility out of a link with Overwatch is just much higher." "That's... so awfully cold. Honestly, it makes me lean towards supporting sparing her more than anything else."

Navin flexes and rotates his shoulder a bit when the stranger fixes it, and in return flashes the man with a grateful smile and gives a little bow of greeting. "Ah, thank you very much. That does help quite a bit." Navin would then, seeing as the man busied himself shortly thereafter, wait in line as well -- there was little point in wasting a free meal, after all! The selection of mundane food was reassuring, and Navin decided to go with something familiar, receiving a bowl of vegetarian curry and a glass of water, which he took up to the table Masaru was sitting at. "I am increasingly unsure that this is where we were supposed to end up." He then notices the man that had healed him. "Oh! Thank you for earlier. Could I perhaps get your name?"

Navin instinctively got into an evasive position when the concussive blast rang out, but when he saw the summoning of the bizarre meat monster and the beginning of the unfolding of the fight, he began to move. "Two on one isn't exactly fair, is it? Perhaps it would be best that we even things out a little, hmm?" Navin leaps into the fight, taking a couple of wind-up steps and then jumping at the meat monster, straightening out his fingers and preparing to send the force of his explosion out into a tightly-controlled blast from their points -- and then sending that hand towards the strange hamburger-meat creature. Piercing Strike on the Happy Meat!

Navin had, just about as they were entering, followed the others -- after looking at the gigantic oddities of the parking lot and the eldritch strangeness of the restaurant himself (keeping his glances at certain areas fleeting lest they take a toll upon his mind), he was rather bemused. Well, and worried: his expression was something of a half-frown, the expression of a man who is uneasy but experienced enough with unsettling situations not to be in a panic. "Well, if this was our intended destination, then we would seem to be dealing with some sort of being rather... above our level. Hmm."

"Gghhhk, pphhh--" Isobel gags and spits as she is fed the awful beer, tugging at the helmet without much success. LOTUS, lacking a mouth, and thus not having been given a forcefeeding helmet, is perfectly fine. "Damn, damn, damn, this is NOT great news! Alright, change of plans, hit that eldritch cowboy! EVERYONE hit the eldritch cowboy! Sombra said herself that it'll nail us all once her hack wears off, so we need to focus our fire and kill it before it gets the chance! EVERYONE hit it, and hit it here!" Weakness Pinpoint on the Wrangler.
-
"Alright, haha, looks like that helped with that!" Satisfied with herself about how effective her healing had been, Isobel promptly backpedals towards the rear of the group again, and more or less hands the baton off to her personal AI, who begins to speak again. "Good effect on target! I suggest we switch targets in order to focus fire on the enemy with that damned chili -- Taking out Teeth n' Tentacles there should do a lot to make their offense manageable, but Venus and Symmetra I believe have that handled! Chili dog over there is doing a lot to frustrate OUR attacks, though, so we should take him down! Strike here, here, or here!" LOTUS uses Weakness Pinpoint on Bob!
-
Chloe giggled a little and lightly scratched her cheek. "Ehehe, politics is really more of Honolulu's thing, Edmund. It's all a bit much for me, I'm afraid, and Honolulu -- uh, Honolulu County's spirit, that is, has it handled pretty well anyway! The guy is super competent." The dropping of his phone and his ensuing cursing got a frown from her. "Uh oh. Did it break?"
-
Chloe had mostly been hovering (sometimes, though not usually literally) around the outskirts of the little group during the brief flare-up; she was not the type who handled conflict very well, and she'd been hesitant to get involved at all. Once the conversation moved on, however, she was more comfortable in speaking up, even if she was still audibly a bit nervous. "Uhmm, I'm not one hundred percent sure yet what I want to do for my major, since I haven't had a lot of opportunity up until now to figure out exactly what. But I'm thinking that if, like, hospitality or travel or something related are options, I might go for 'em. Kauai is a tourist county after all!"
-
Chloe claps excitedly after Aimi gives her instructions, her sandy hair bouncing just a bit as she makes the cheerful, energetic movement. "Right! My name is Chloe Kauai, I'mma girl so she," As she says this next part, Chloe's voice carries an unmistakable note of pride, and her pose changes so that she's standing with her chest jutting out a bit accordingly, "And what I am is a location spirit, and I'm the spirit of Kauai County, Hawaii!" Now, she puts her fingers on her chin, "One thing about myself, hummm... I am actually a very good surfer!"
-
"I can direct the explosions I create to some extent... but it isn't perfect, and the explosions still do originate around my hands, so this pretty much excludes the possibility of wearing anything on my hands, which is a reason that I don't have gloves like so many other superheroes. I'm afraid that I would blow the back end right off of any sort of cannon. With that said, I've also worked our a few techniques that ensure that this isn't too much of a problem -- with martial arts and versatile positioning of my hands, I can get quite a bit of use with just my power and my hands."
-
Navin doesn't look particularly bothered, even if he did jerk in undisguised startlement when she first spoke. He does, however, give Samantha a sidelong look. "You might want to be careful who you do that with, miss Grey. I've gathered that at least one person in this castle reacts violently to that sort of thing. You did show enough control not to damage any of us though, which is a good thing." He looks back at Dackly and can't help but chuckle. "Manual interface, huh? Well, that's certainly a rather direct way of doing it, but I suppose I can't fault it considering my set of abilities is as direct as it gets too."
-
Navin's eyebrows both raise when Dackly mentions the exact amount of time that she had known this one technique. Navin may not be quite as expressive as some people, but that gesture certainly communicated surprise. "Well, that is... quite a long amount of time, hmm?" Another vegetable is raised to Navin's mouth and consumed, while the superhero considers the implications of Gozer's statement. "You keep coming up with more and more impressive capabilities. I am very, very much impressed. I get the feeling you'll see a lot of action in the team we seem to be building up here. You can turn things back once you've turned them to stone, correct? I have to like the nonlethal aspect of that. It sounds like it has potential field-medical use as well."
-
"Self-imposed in order to prevent collateral, and to avoid using excessive force. I've got some level of control over the direction of force of my blasts, and I've had one of my teammates back in my world complain about me breaking "Newton's Third Law" in that respect, so recoil isn't an issue, but it is still quite a bit of destructive force." Navin puts his hand on his chin. "It sounds like you two have quite the array of talents, hmm? Magical effects, defense, bombs, balloons. Yes, that's very useful indeed! It sounds to me that we are quite lucky to have you on our team. Especially because you seem to have experience with this sort of scenario. I've crossed dimensions a couple of times myself, and so this is not the most confusing thing I've dealt with, but I am no specialist on the matter, I have simply worked with those who are to a limited extent in the past. I had not heard of the Trespassers before this, though. Had you?"
-
"On my own world, I am what is referred to a superhero, I suppose -- essentially I fight either malevolent beings in defense of people or places they are attacking, or I fight evil people with supernatural abilities, using my own, which I will describe in a moment. I specialize in close combat, and I am trained in Aikido so if possible I can defeat many opponents nonlethally. Where this is not an option, however, I can do damage, even through armor, because my powers... well, there is no way around this, I am capable of creating explosions from my fists when I fight. It's a fairly simple and destructive power, but I've figured out one or two uses for it other than simple punching." Navin accepts the a fork, lightly twirling it in his hand. "Thank you very much." And with that he spears one of the vegetables and begins to eat.
-
Navin leans against the wall again as he listens to the... statue being, he thinks. "Source. Ahimsa is essentially the principle that all life is sacred, so the logic is that animals take more lives to raise and slaughter than a plant does to reap. Something like that would in fact neatly solve the problem! Meat still wouldn't be my favorite thing, as I've never developed a taste for it, but I'd eat it without any sort of complaint." When Navin receives his meal, he gives Dackly a nod of thanks, and then pauses, looking at the stir fry for a few moments before looking around the room for an implement with which he can eat it, speaking casually while he does. "You've created a fairly large haul of food, hmm? That is very considerate of you."
-
Navin smiled slightly and bowed slightly in both apology and thanks, before shaking his head. "You have no reason to feel any guilt, Dackly. There are, it seems, quite a few of us aboard this castle, and it isn't as if you would have any way of knowing what each of our individual preferences would be. Besides, I am not the type who wishes to impose, nor the type who is easily offended by such unavoidable things, so you have no ill feelings from me. Still, I've got to thank you for your consideration in preparing this separate meal for me. It does look delicious."
