Leo shakes his head "We don't want to damage anything that might be useful. Or risk harming the barrier...That being said, if something tries to kill us, your free to fry it." Leo looks back to the corruption, and takes a step. Putting a foot over the barrier. "So far so-" Then there was an explosion and some monsters "Scratch that!" He drew snow and prepared for a fight.
-
"I agree that we should at least check it out. Im also interested in takeing material samples." Snow projects her avatar, looking down on the area in front of them, while stone heart's shards lightly coil around leo. "Hold on. Are we sure that's a good idea. For all we know, this stuff can spread to people." "Scared. Curious. Conflicted." Leo looks thoughtful for a moment. "Mmmm...i cant imagine it would spread to us just from entering. At least, not immediately. If it could spread that fast, there woulden't have even been time to build a barrier around it before it consumed everything. I think we should be fine for a little bit." "That makes sense." Leo turns back to the others. Waiting on there responses.

The engine's sound grew into a roar, and the temperature dropped a bit, as frostbrute outright LIFTED the tree though, just barely, and moved it into place. Though from the way its engine seemed to sputter when it sat it back down and the way it stumbled back a bit showed it had worked pretty hard. "Well. that should do it."
-
"Sounds fun to me, I don't exactly have any solid plans for what Im going to today either. I considered going to the mine and getting more materials, but if we can get more of that ore by going to these corruption and crimson places, that would be a big help" "They don't sound like friendly places though." "Oh right, hang on" Leo gets up and goes to talk to the bartender, leaning over the counter. "Hey did those mushrooms work well?" "Yeah, and I suppose you want to potions now too, and I suppose you haven't got anything to pay me with too." Grumpy as before he barely even looks at leo. “That depends, how much do I owe you?” The Barkeep walk over to his shelf and pulls off four small potions, there doesn't seem to be more than about an ounce of liquid in each. "Fifty copper is standard for the lesser healing potions, twenty-five since you got the mushrooms, discount on the next batch if you bring back the bottles." He paused, then pushed the bottles to Leo over the counter. "I'll put it on your tab." "Right, thanks." Leo returns to the table, and presents the potions. "This should help cover injuries...Mmm" He pops the lid off one of the bottles, testing it and the fluid within before putting the lid back on, and noting them down on his computer. "Not bad..." Then he takes another bite of food

Leo takes a bite of his hash before replying to jun. "Well, since it feeds on heat, blasting it with enough ice magic in general can put it out. Besides, it wasn't that warm out, so there was little chance of it spreading over the ground and structures. It would have been a different story if that had happened during the day though. As for actualy damaging structures and robots, that depends on things like how well it takes being frozen over, or getting ice in its joints." Another bite "It is possible for the blaze to get so big it cant sustain itself, or simply consume all of its fuel." "As for stone heart here he was up all night making him." He ignores snow and rubs the back of his head at Toshiro's interjection. "heha... yeah. I kinda figured that if they were flying around, Everyone was just going to use ranged weapons. Still it worked out pretty well. I tested the mana type of the materials the Eye dropped. And its some interesting stuff. A bit nasty to, definitely good for weapons, but maybe some other stuff as well. I still need to pick up the refined metal, and test that, but im hopeful ill get something good."

"Because frostbrute uses Ice fire. Its a sort of magical flame that consumes heat as fuel. The explosion? Well, what happens when you throw gasoline on a regular fire?" Leo takes a bite of his food "Mmmm that's not bad...Anyways, frostbrute puts Ice fire out by manipulating temperature. He pulls heat away from the fire, depriving it of fuel." Stone hearts shard body begins to deconstruct itself, and coil around the air around leo like a long cord of shards connected by magic Looking curiously at him and his food, the sword at the end of the loose body.

Leo heads downstairs and locates the door to an old storeroom, with the sound coming from inside. He stands back and waits for frostbrute to open the door. Holding up snow to use her projector as a light source. Once the door is open a colorful pink slime leaps onto its head, smoke coming up from the contact. Frostbrute tries to rip it off its head, but it just clings to it and moves to the back of its hand before droping down onto the ground.... Then leo hits it with a blast of ice magic and it weakens greatly. Frostbrute steps on it, and its over. The pink slime collapses, dropping pink gel and some coins. Leo does a quick test of its mana and is somewhat pleased. Hes sure he can find a use for that. A quick test of the coin's confirm there made of T copper, and that they are indeed unaffected by the gel. So Leo uses a portion of the coins to make a thin bowl to contain the gel. He starts outside, only for frostbrute to be sent flying into the air and onto its back by the step. wow that stuff was bouncy. he scraped it off with a coin THEN continued outside. He spent his time working stone and iron until the begin to rise Shards of stone coated, edged and adorned with iron flowed around a stone sword. The hilt become disjoined from most of the blade, held only together by a chain as the shards coiled around it, structuring themselves into a humanoid form. The core sat in the hilt, around which it formed its head. "I think ill call you...stone heart" "......Appreciation. Gratitude" "I cant believe you stayed up all night. you are aware we have a job to do here right?" Leo just streacthces and admires the sunrise before gathering his materials. "Come on, Im hungry. we can figure out what we are going to do afterword's" Leo heads back to the tavern and goes in to grab some breakfast. He leaves frostbrute outside with the materials, but brings Stone heart in. He somehow finds himself sitting across the table from jun.

Leo, not really knowing what to do with the forge decides he can wait till tommrow, and drops off three demonite and crimtane ore. Before heading outside and doing some testing. He removes the grief seed from his pocket, and picks up a rock. Using the "Wish" mana he turns the rock into a core. As he hoped, it responds to simple mental commands, though it dosent really have much worth commanding it to do at the moment. Though it does take more focus than he would like, and something feels a little... off. Its not until he accidently drops it and inspects it for damage that he realizes that the basic AI program that runs it is crying. Something he defintly never programed. The core was feeling emotion, and was apparently not happy about being dropped. Leo sits down with it and starts reminceing on his adventures. Holding the core in his hands. "Leo?" "That mana has some tie to emotion. The core is upset. Im trying to soothe it." Stunning views, merry nights, the smiles of passing children. Leo allows himself to relive them as he tries to project his feelings to the core. It seems to work, not that the core can express itself in its current state. Leo stands up, and starts walking out of town. "I need my iron." "Cant it wait till there aren't monsters and zombies running around" "I would rather get it done now" Leo manages to avoid the zombies on his path, and nothing seems to be after him. Once he gets there he takes some of his iron and turns it over in his hand. he considers reshaping the stone into a smoother, easier to work with core, but it was to risky. He didn't have the heart to extinguish the "life" of the core. It was feeling emotions, and it wasn't like it has shown any indication of being dangerous. Instead he added the iron to the core to smooth it out, he fiddles with the programming so that the iron handles most processing and memory storage, so that it can self edit easier. Leo gets the feeling He's not alone, so he has frostbrute stand guard while he continues to work. Leo gives the core the ability to see hear and speak. The results are. Interesting... "Appreciative, content." "Appreciative, content." "Still content, still Appreciative." This goes on for about a minuet with leo just staring at it. before he finally interrupts it. "Slowww down there little guy. Listen. Do you want me to make a body for you? "Complentateing...................................Desire." "Alright then. Give me a little bit..." Leo goes over his shape solid spell, and manages to get a variation down that improves the structural integrity of materials. At this point he starts hearing a racket downstairs and tells the little core to wait as he goes down to check on it with frostbrute.

While frostbrute makes sure all the fire is out, Leo is inspecting the ore. Shades of red and purple hover around him as he test the effects of the different mana types. "Nasty stuff. Definitely usefull in weapons." Leo takes four pieces of each ore and takes a small sample shard of each type for later He also claims a lens and Two red hearts "Im going to run some of this stuff by the smith. When you guys are done takeing your pick of the loot, make sure to send me any leftovers." Leo takes the stuff to the blacksmith and ask him to smelt three of each type of ore into bars, warning him to be careful with the stuff.

As multiple frostbrute begin to enter one point of time because of kusuke's assistance, Leo's computer starts to get really confused as it receives connection attempts from three other Frostbrute, all bearing the same Id. Snow however quickly figures out whats going on and reigns in the system before it has a chance to spaz out or trip any security protocols. Relaying orders to each one. The first directs its temperature manipulation at leo to remove the Icefire. The second directs its temperature manipulation system at the EOC to remove the Ice fire. The third and forth try to grab the EOC by its tentacle.... Nerve...things, the next time it comes in for a pass, And slow it down, using Superstrength. Leo uses his plain old blizzard wind spell (And a red heart)

Leo takes a step back from the sudden blast, looking up at the roaring blue flame as it flares outwards and consumes the swarm. That girl was packing serious heat, and with the ice fire now washed over the entire swarm they should start falling quickly. however, it seems the eyes preferred attacking with there bodies, rather than with any sort of ranged attack. This was a problem. The current temperature would stop the flames from spreading over land and buildings, but not from consuming a warm body. "They eye's are using melee attacks. we have friendly fire" "I can see that! Frostbrute, keep the flames off them!" Leo picks up some rocks and tosses them into the air as he uses Dust gale again. Crushing them and sending an abrasive storm of dust up at the swarm. Frostbrute meanwhile holds a hand out towards kusuke as if aiming its flamethrowers. Internal systems flare to life as ambient magic is forced into them by the core. Kusuke would probably feel a deep cold in the air around him and just on the surface of his body, you know if he weren't already feeling that from the ice fire. While also feeling a bit warmer inside, before the fire vanishes and frostbrute allows his temperature to return to normal. ---------------------------------------------------------- Leo uses Dust Gale (Alternate casted blizzard wind, with thuam>copper. One mana activation fee. The damage is 1d6 to four enemies, and an additional 1d6 to targets sensitive to dust.) Targeting the EOC and the Three Healthiest looking eyes. Leo's Night vision is still active Machine synergy is still active The arm mounted golem computer is still active. Reminder in case it becomes relevant, Snow has a scanner that can detect things like energy signatures and stuff. Frostbrute uses extinguish ice fire on kusuke, purging the ice fire debuff from him.

Leo takes a step back. It wasn't the things appearance per say that bothered him. But rather, that look. The way it stared at him sent a chill down his spine, and it wasn't the good kind. Was it staring at the others to? Leo tries to shake the feeling off and analyze the situation. Leo wanted that thing down. Assuming they would be using swarm tactics and remain close, they could bump into each other. Considering the current time of day and temperature, Icefire wouldn't spread over the area very much, but would still prove effective against warm bodies. And unless they got really close melee attacks wouldn't be very useful anyways. The biggest risk was that the targets WOULD make physical contact with them and more allies would be afflicted then frostbrute could extinguish at once. Still..... "I'm going to try and ice it! Don't make contact with any blue flames! Frostbrute! Blast the leader!" Leo decides to mix it up a little, Using the copper on his pendant to attune mana. The brown energy swirls around him as he starts casting blizzard wind with the copper mana. Had he used copper with this particular spell before? Come to think of it, he hadn't. This should be interesting. The a blast of wind kicks out from his position, ensnaring and pulverizing one of the arrows heading up towards there target. Oops. But leo gets it under control, and sends the wind hurtling towards his marks. "Note to self, when casting blizzard wind with copper mana, provide materials" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frostbrute uses ice fire stream on the eye of Cthulhu Leo uses blizzard wind, casting it with copper mana, creating Dust Gale, Targeting the eye of cuthulhu and three of its servants.

Leo gives the mushrooms he found earlier to the bartender on the way out. "I was told you could make healing potions from these. We might need em" Then he's off before the bartender gets a chance to properly respond. Once he reaches the blacksmith he acquires some metal (And a pile of slag) A quick test reveals the metals aren't quite what Hes used to, and are apparently Magitropes. It made sense. It had been said that this island was incredibly magical, so it was no surprise its resources had been effected. Very interesting, and quite possibly very useful. It could also interfere with his preparations, but that was a problem for later. The pile of slag made...more slag. Possibly useful for later. The glowing heart had ruptured into magical healing energy when he tried to test it. Neat? Some sort of solid spellwork? "I don't have time to build anything out of this right now, but it should be useful in the fight. Thanks!" Leo darts out and meets up with the others. He rubs his hands together and breaths deeply "Come on...come on..." Slowing steady breaths, His Slitted pupils thinning and widening repeatedly. He closes his eyes and continues to breath, bringing his fingers to his face. before he opens them again. The pupils have stop dilating his seem to be a little brighter now, almost faintly shining. To Leo, everything looks different, but also the same. Everything seems a bit brighter in the sense that the effect's of the darkness on his vision seem to lessen while not actually becoming brighter. If anyone where to ask him what it was like to see in the dark like this, he wouldn't really know how to explain it. "Alright! Got it!" He looks up towards the enemies in the sky, getting ready for a fight. Leo activates his Night vision passive, and will be joining the fight.

Leo taps the table as he thinks. So they had an Engineer used to large scale defense. That was good. "Labor force is no object. I can produce simple golems for the work. A small army or at least a small defense force of golems should also be possible. But I doubt we have much time, so ill have to pick between quantity, and quality. It might be more efficient to produce weapons for the fighters we DO have. Ill also need resources." He looks up "You mentioned a blacksmith shop right? Is there a mine nearby?"
-
Leo tested the mana type of the lense just a bit before luci picked it up, noteing it for later. He tries to find some of the gel from the slime zombie as well, but its all gone from burning. He then turned to address the apparent natives and gestured to the weatherlight "Is there space i can park this ship over there? Like at the edge of the village? I would rather not leave my materials out here." There was also the fact that the weatherlight had beds. So no need for paying for a night at an inn. He then gestures to the mushrooms "Oh are those mushrooms good for anything? They kinda stand out"

Seeing the hard to hit flyers Leo throws both hands out to the side and looks up to the sky, slowly raising his arms as he cast a spell, the wind picks up and a magical chill is infused into the air as he allows the incantation to roll off his tongue with lightning speed. Leo uses Blizzard wind Hitting all enemies on the field for 1d6 ice damage Frostbrute, just lumbers over to the impaled zombie reaching out to grab its sides and limbs with its massive hands. Frostbrute again uses Super strength on the slime zombie. taking advantage of its status as being impaled, to grab it with both hands and rip it apart (vertically, making use of its arms and legs) Conditional: If this kills it, frostbrute hurls the corpse bits at one of they floating eyes. Conditional: If the slime zombie is already dead, frostbrute just rips the corpse from the branch and throws the corpse at the floating eyes.

Leo nods to Calvera. "Right then, if we need to fight, be ready to give frostbrute a boost. It consumes heat as fuel to power itself, so if you hit it with a fireball or two it will get stronger." Takeing note of Lucile's work he tries to figure out the runes. Operating on the assumption they work like the ones he is used to seeing however, may come back to bite him later. Thankfully for leo, and the others nearby, he sees no reason to try this version of the sanctuary right now, seeing as there is already a workable version on the field. Then before he can start a conversation about the runes, zombies show up. "Zombies? huh. Well, they don't look friendly" Leo draws snow and gives her a twirl as he gets into a ready stance Once frostbrute has been supped up, he gives the order. Swinging his arm outward as he gives the command "Frostbrute! Turn them to paste! No ice fire!" Frostbrute uses Super strength, Targeting The Slime zombie. And attempts to back hand it with its massive hands, hard enough to send it flying. Hopefully into the nearest tree Leo uses Winter blade. Targeting The armed zombie. Status Loadout Frostbrute

Leo considers the information on the approaching beings, tapping his foot. "I'm not sure I'm comfortable using Frostbrute's ice fire in this area. However, at this temperature, His super strength should be well within useable levels. If anyone here has fire magic, we could amp him up further." "I'm still learning to manipulate my drone's abilities. So ill keep it out of the fight if it comes to that."

Lilly rubs her face, but otherwise doesn't seem disoriented at all. Honestly seeing the planet from so high up had been quite an experience. Then she notes the people from the other pod and the ruckus from all the people which the others seem to conclude are not sane "Ok what now? Who are you guys, and why are we here?" She sounds exasperated. She seems getting a little tired of all this.
