"Well excuse me for being born. Its not as bad as you think. Every time I kill one of Dysto's beast, I get more materials and weapons I can use. That means more golems, with stronger weapons, helping to save the multiverse. If I can deal with 3 metal death dragons, with just myself and 20 golems of....questionable intellect, I think a group as large as us with our skills and abilities can Handel things. Besides, do you have any OTHER mages who can make heat immune materials, turn random scrap into computers and weapons, freeze things just by willing the proper mana at it, and-" He points at his red catlike eyes "see in the dark?" Snow promptly chimes in "Don't you have trouble doing that consistently?" "Snow your not helping! Look the point is, I can do things YOU apparently CAN'T that means I can cover weaknesses and provided strengths to the group."

"Pft. you think this thing is bad? All it has going for it is strength and a few spinning razors. And there's just one of them! Try taking on a metal dragon with laser eyes, wingmouted missiles, a breath attack that makes things explode, and claws that destroy matter they strike by pulling It apart in no less then twenty otherspacial directions. And there's three of them." Leo stands back up, dusting off his pants. "My best guess is that Dysto didn't want to drop in anything major until it could figure out what you guys are capable of. I'm sure things will get tougher. THATS why I want to get more golems built as soon as possible. When I said I like to be backed up by at least 50 golems, I MEANT IT. For obvious reasons. Even if I only bring 10 with me on a mission, I'm most comfortable when I have an army waiting in reserve for me to call." Leo then looks to freya "You misunderstand. Its not just me. dysto moves pretty fast. Going back and forth between me, and its other targets in the barren kingdom is not that big a deal between it. For all we know its already on route to begin a bombing run. As for who protected me, after my parents died, no one did. I just had to run and try to escape from big murder machines almost daily. sometimes I would lure them to camps of bandits or other survivors, who were more equip to deal with it. And once I started figuring out golomancy I protected myself."

Well then, that made some sense. But they would still rather have everyone walk away from this alive. So they respond with another conceptual burst. Throwing in some images of humans out smarting and outfighting larger more powerful beast to empathize there point. [Why don't you go eat something else? Humans are better hunters then they look. Your survival chance increases by consuming things that wont cause humans to attack you]

Leo sighs. Since dysto could still get to him it was probbly best for the party to be aware of it. Thankfully, he had a very handy AI assistant. “Snow, would you please-“ “beginning playback from memory” Snow promptly plays back leo’s Explanation, more or less acting as a recording tape.

“Did you....seriously not hear any of that?”

"Yeahhhh. maybe I should start from the beginning." Leo sits down and try's to get comfy "A long time ago, there were two ancient kingdoms at war. No one really knows why it started, or who started it. As part of the war effort one of the kingdoms created a massive superweapon, called dysto. It wields absurdly powerful magic, and a wide array of weapons. however, it mostly fights through the use of biomachines, like this one. It was programed with one singular mission. The complete genocide of the enemy kingdom. And it preformed...Well. Anything that lived there was destroyed. Nothing grows there, nothing lives there. Not a single blade of grass, Nor a single fish. anything that tries to move in or grow? killed. The only source of food are the bio machines themselves. there's nothing left of the kingdom but ruins and bands of bandits, and people trying to survive. for some reason though, Dysto was never turned off. think of it like...a gun that never stopped firing. No one even knows what happened to the kingdom that built Dysto." leo pauses for a moment, thinking. "Somehow, Dysto is able to know of, and track every. single. thing. that lives, or ever has lived in what's now known as the barren kingdom. I don't know how it does it, and believe me ive tried to subvert it. Anti-scrying enchantments, perception distorting barriers, I cant tell you how much I've looked." Leo throws his hands into the air "And APPARENTLY it can even travel across the multiverse." then he sighs as he lets his arms down "I was as you might have guessed born in the ruins of the barren kingdom, and as a result. dysto wants me dead. I guess you could say ive been fighting death since the day I was born. and its not that big of an exaduratiion. I was orphaned so young I couldn't even point out my parents if they walked past me on the street, and finding a friendly face in that area? not easy, especially for a frightened small child that didn't want to approach anyone. Early on, I mostly survived by stealing food, and would sometimes listen in on small camps. Eventually I stumbled on a library that still had some books on magic in....a mostly readable condition. At this point I only had a grasp of basic channeling mind you, but hey, I guess I figured it was worth a shot. Once I started learning Golomancy it was easier to get by. I can still remember the glee and rush of satisfaction I felt when I finally started hunting for the same machines that had hunted me for so long, no need to run, no need to steal. with all the rubble around, not to mention the Biomachines themselves, I had PLENTY of material to work with. And evntualy I took on the task of getting out of the barren kingdom, no easy feat I assure you. Ive been moving around from place to place ever since. learning, fighting, and trying to help out as I go."

Leo scratches his head awkwardly "Yeahhhhh...about that. That was one of dysto's beast. That...happens sometimes."

"Oh uh alright. everyone stand back please. Frostbrute! Get over here!" Frostbrute lumbers over "Freeze it with ice fire" Frostbrute blasts the thing with the blue and cyan flames, The water begins to freeze as the anomalous flames drew on the heat. sapping the thermal energy to make light, and more of itself. there is a chill in the air around the ball not just from the ice fire, but from frostbrute's regulation system, trying to choke the fire to the best of its ability by depriving it of heat. once there is a thick shell around the water, blue finds he can move again, and leo gives the order to stop and extinguish the flames. The chill in the air around the flames grows intense as the heat is pulled away by frostbrute. in the icy shell, there becomes a portion where the heat is held back and prevented from flowing into, and the icefire soon dies down and goes out. Frostbrute releases its grip on the flow of heat and things return to normal. "Alright, now then." leo lays a hand on the ice and closes his eyes as he cast shape solid once more, trying to conserve his mana as much as possible. He opens a small hole for blue to fly out of, then closes it back up once he is out, to contain the water. No sense wasting it after all.

"Alright. I'm running low on power, so I would preffer to use ice fire for this. go over there." -he points a little way's away from the group- "Don't want anyone getting caught up in it."

Leo thinks for a moment. "Can you... by chance withstand being frozen solid?" "What are you thinking now?" "I can freeze the water, then use shape solid to get it off."

Leo's improvised healing goes off better then before, and mends a fair number of his wounds. Leo breath a sigh of relief now that combat is over, noteing his mana supply is quite low, still, he should certainly help out with pipe repair. Hopefully they would get paid and he could get some better materials, but regardless, this was at least a job well done. Then he turned his attention to the downed frostbrute, running his hands over its body, and examining the damaged parts. critical gears had been damaged, along with the drive shafts of its engine. In addition various hinges had been damaged that prevented it from acting under magic alone. As intended the engine had shut down once the system determined it was to damaged to continue, and had extinguished itself, preventing any issues of icefire containment. Luckily the electronics attached to the core were undamaged. so it was a simple matter of shaping things back into place, and mending the components and casing. Good. Leo looked at his computer bringing up frostbrutes information. "Frostbrute, Activate." -booting- -This unit was shut down abruptly in a combat situation. now running diagnostics- -diagnostics complete, no damage to Core integrity. No damage to Unit AI, designation: Frostbrute_01- -Unit AI, designation: Frostbrute_01 online. All systems green, Engine is on standby- The golem slowly pulls itself off the ground. Straining under its own weight. Drawing so little power from the ambiance it could barely move its own body. There was a reason leo had outfitted it with an engine after all. Being able to run on mechanical power cut down on the raw ambiance draw. By using the frostfire engine frostbrute could sap heat from the air and use it to keep itself going. "Frostbrute. Ignite." The golem stands taller as its engine is ignited with a spark of heat, and ice fire, roaring up in its body. after a few moments there is a deep rumble in its chest and snow once more pours from its exhaust. Satisfied, leo pats the golem on the back and sends it to push the cart "Alright, Anyone whos to injured should ride on the cart. we need to get things moving." Of course some of the others might note this would be a good time to ask why the fuck a giant metal bear dropped from the sky and tried to kill him, and what this "dysto" he and snow has mentioned was.

Leo noted that his healing attempt seemed a little off, but it worked well enough so who cares. At the moment leo continues doing something he really shouldn't be having to do. Act as healer. Leo again channels blood mana to heal himself 4 points

"We will attempt to communicate with the monsters. perhaps this can be solved without bloodshed" Lilly and Ador, still in union, hop out of the bus and spread there crystal wings, and take off, flying in that direction. once in range they attempt to use voice of the heart on the armor-winged fliers. Sending a burst of concepts, roughly equating to [Why are you fighting?]

Union seems unaffected by the reality bending words, probably something to do with there magic and the many times they have had there mind deconstructed and rebuilt over the years. Though they do Look away and covers there eyes as there blinded by the immense light. They can feel the energy in the air, there heart is racing. The thrum of power in there bones as Lucille unleashes so much energy into the area, is amazing. When the light fades and the smoke clears they look back, stunned at the tree. before giving a leap and taking flight, arms high in a cheer. "HA! THIS WILL SHOW THEM" They circle the tree, feeling its energy, and brushing a hand against its branches. "Cant you Feel that power? This is great! We want one!" They look down at there hands, noting there still bloody from when the skinned the wyvern. And actually still a little stained from the Deer they had taken prior. huh. they could really use a bath. This of course did not slow them down. Now running on a rush of adrenaline and excitement. "What do you think guys!? We could take some seeds and plant these everywhere! maybe even take one to every world we visit! and we'll make it grow, and everyone can use it, it'll be great!" They do a little flip.

Lilly nods. "On it. we'll make sure its more full of life then ever!" The relay of information between her and ador was quick, and before you know it... Lilly and ador were one, and few over to a nearby hellbark tree. laying there hands on it as they gathered there power...casting the spell and breathing new life into the old tree. They watch as color returns to it and beautiful flowers bloom, and leaves grow from its branches.

Lilly raises a hand and chimes in. "Ive got plant growth down. If your going to make something to help them, I'm all in. what do you have in mind?"

"This hide would make adequate armor. I'm used to hunting and cooking my own meals, so this is nothing to me. Although I do feel a little sick over what's been done to the people of this world"

Lilly and Ador split, looking on the creatures with Pity. even the minds of these beast had no longer been there own. disgusting. And those others had once been human. Lilly felt physically sick, fusing there bodies was one thing. But destroying there minds like that. the irrevocable destruction of self, even the gods could do nothing for them now. At least Lucille's bindings didn't seem to have lasting effects. This was beyond messed up. She wanted to bid there souls peace and freedom, but what peace could any of these beings know now? Not realy having an answer, she defaulted to what she always did. she didn't really want to touch the ettens since they had once been human, but that dragon like creature was fair game, and seemed to have a tough hide. It only fell so easily because they had focused there fire. After some work, she gets some of its scaly hide. Moveing on from that, she notes the dead...or...barely living trees? and decides to take some samples to practice her magic with. if she can manage to restore something near death like that, then working with other plants should be easy. She finds three branches that should suffice. finally she looked to the people they had helped and the many rewards offered. "Are you sure you can spare so much? you seem to have your work cut out for you here."

Leo hops up, freed from the pin, and draws snow. twirling her in his hand for a moment before holding on with a firm grip. "Thanks for the assist" He's about to attack, but then notes the lizard man is a broken bleeding mess, quite obviously near death. "Nnnggg... you take care of this, I've got to go help him out. Did we seriously not bring any healers?" Hes already running off, heading over to the lizard man, and keeling next to him As he starts channeling mana into the deathly wounded man's blood, and then directing that onto his wounds. "Hey can you hear me? Eyes open man. I have a rule against letting party members die. Bleed out some other time ok?" He does sound somewhat worried. Though he would much rather be tearing into the dysto bear, the others could handle that, and right now, he was apparently the only one who could handle this. This is why he had wanted to have more time to prepare. This is why he wanted into that lab. "Frostbrute! cover us!" Leo channels 7 mana into blood to create healing blood mana, which is directed at sha'tiths wounds to heal him. Frosbrute will now attempt to attack anyone who attacks leo and sha'tith

Lilly and Ador use breath of annihilation on the wyvern, focusing the attack on it alone, breathing out a stream of chaotic and destructive rainbow light, which sears away flesh and scale, assuming it hits.

They dident seem very interested in the idea of talking things out. so be it. first they would heal up the injured fighters. Mending breath on Lucille, Satomi, and baruatus.

LOADOUT Time to get started. There where to many of these monsters to hold a conversation with them all at once. They would have to make do with vocal imbuement. "ENOUGH! Creatures hear our words! Killing these people will accomplish nothing, nor will you survive the attempt. Cease fighting and allow use to talk to you!" All living beings present "feel" the words and understand the emotion within them, like its humming in there bones and soul. The intent passes into all that hear them and is understood regardless of language or mental ability. The union does not desire to kill the creatures, and would rather resolve things peacefully. but they would fight if necessary. Union uses Vocal voice

The Union likewise drops the sword fragments, grabs there spear, and jumps out of the bus, flying into the portal. "On it!" Lilly and Ador join the hunt!

After the vision, the union of lilly and Ador mumbled some things under there breath. Something something would never something voice. They mulled over the vision some, thinking on what had been said. Then a sword slammed into the bus. The union fly's over to the sword and looks at it. Then they poke it. then they pick it up, along with its shards, and bring it inside the bus. "Hey look at this"

Leo of course, is both surprised and dismayed at this. Or maybe its more anger at the rotten timing. "Dammit! Not now! Even HERE?!" It is at this moment, snow comes back online. "Ok I'm back what did I- OH MY GODS! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDING ME!? I GO OFFLINE FOR ONE MEASLY MINIUTE AND DYSTO DROPS A FUCKING BEAR ON US!?" "FROSTBRUTE! ATTACK ANY ENEMY SOLDIRES YOU SEE AND HOLD OF ANY MORE DYSTO MONSTERS!" Leo of course Struggles back against the massive beast, Expending 4 EG, and attempting to push the beast off with a surge of strength. Frostbrute looks for enemy soldiers and attacks any talon trooper he sees with ice fire stream
