  1. you just have to change the transparent color to something else.
  2. we had to fix a lot of sprites for that issue.
  3. yeah, you'll have to pull your save from the wine folder if you still want to use it
  4. to be fair, the internet browser is just complete ass at everything i'd personally place my bets on it being n3DS only if it even works in the first place

    18.3 beta

imma be real i don't know how this game manages to run in the first place.
  6. okay. so. maybe, you can install linux on a homebrewed wii. and we have a linux build. so there's theoretically a chance that it would work. and i am really opening the floodgates on this one but if it works on a wii it'd be reasonable to say it'd work on most devices you can force linux on. like a 3ds.
  7. i'm not actually sure. i would expect mods in general to not work, but it may still be worth trying.
  8. incompatibility issues with MKXP is the primary reason. the secondary reason is that we keep running into line break errors in text and this should significantly reduce the extent to which this is an issue
  9. update: this is no longer a beta! the e18.3 beta has been released! finally, mac and linux users can play the game without WINE. get it here! What's New: we have a whole new engine! the sole purpose of e18.3 is to take this engine and give it to you. for the sake of this post (and likely future posts): RMXP is the old engine. this is what you've been running for every episode up to now. it is still included in the windows download as Game.exe. MKXP is the new engine. this is what you're running if you use the mac and linux versions. it is Game-z.exe in the windows download. both engines are included in the windows download for the sake of accessibility: MXKP has stricter hardware requirements than RMXP, so in the event that the new engine doesn't work on your computer you aren't locked out of playing the game. (Known) Minimum Requirements: Windows/Linux: OpenGL 3.3+ Mac: OSX 10.12+ Changes: RMXP: + animations are now pre-loaded when you open the game. this effectively reduces the in-battle animation lag to 0. - the R/S, FRLG, and D/P fonts have been removed. plus some other minor changes. MKXP: + exists! What changes for MKXP: it is much faster in general. this is its main advantage over RMXP. the difference will probably blow you away. the screen can be resized manually. you no longer are stuck with three particular screen sizes that can only be changed in options. it does not require you to install the fonts. the F1 menu has been removed. in a later update, it will allow you to change the controls; right now it does nothing. (this will be updated if i find out i missed something) Known issues for MKXP: the f1 menu doesn't work don't be scared off by the fact that this is still in beta- it's mostly in beta because it's still missing some features and is relatively untested, meaning some fatal errors might still be uncaught. if you get an error, there are reporting threads for windows, mac, and linux. bugs with the game itself (things that are not exclusive to MKXP) should still reported on the general bug reporting subforum. hope you all enjoy the new engine!

    18.3 beta

i'm sorry but corporate copyright patent law dictates under Article 937.23-a Section B sub-clause 34 that under no circu- just kidding let me grab them (you can locate all of these in your very own personal Scripts.rxdata by searching for $pkmn_animations) first, we have: this is where the magic happens. instead of loading animations every. single. time. you load them here. once. the conditional isn't technically necessary, but it'll keep it from reloading them every time you soft reset. the other four cases are actually the same case: whenever you see animations=load_data("Data/PkmnAnimations.rxdata") you want to change it to animations=$pkmn_animations we have four instances of this: and you basically just want that one like to look like this: and that's it! you can see it for yourself- battles just flow like zoom. it's incredible.

    18.3 beta

there's a json in the troubleshooting thread, which is where this belongs anyway
  12. fantastic. incredible. literally could not have put it better. (cuz i don't have a mac)
  13. ooooooooh dear. so while that is technically an i5, it is still a very old one. the lack of RAM is probably not doing your system performance any favors either, but even with some upgrades I don't think i'd expect a whole lot of additional performance from the game
  14. honestly i'd appreciate that bc i still don't know how you crazy kids manage to use a fruit as a computer
  15. i think this is fixed by putting it into "applications" oh, please, you're gonna get a beta build too. only if it's a mac. this is the mac version. so it works for macs.
  16. ok: hi, professional here. first of all, i'd expect medium screen size to run best, due to really stupid internal code related reasons. lemme see a pic of your cpu load. while rejuv is running, pop open task manager (hold: ctrl +shift + esc) and show me something like: i mainly want to see the CPU you have, what its utilization is, and what its speed is.
