This is going to get long af but I think it'll be a fun read if you like reading My story with Pokemon begins with the Pokemon anime. I don't know when or how, but when I was 5 years old, I watched the first episode of the first season (the one when Ash wakes up late and gets Pikachu) and was hooked by the world inhabited with animals but cooler. At the time, my parents both worked during the weekdays, and they'd given explicit directions to my nanny to only allow me to watch one hour of TV per day. So I watched Cardcaptor Sakura and Pokemon, right after the other, 30 minutes each in the afternoons. Then, my dad's colleague, bless him, gave me a limited edition gameboy color (golden hardware with pikachu and pichu on the display's rim), and my aunt, bless her, gave me Pokemon Pikachu Version and Silver Version, which my cousin had played already. I tried Pikachu version first, because the idea of Pikachu following you was awesome as hecc. But I was a dumb 5 or 6 year old at the time so I couldn't beat Brock with a Pikachu and Butterfree/Pidgey. So I discarded that and played Silver. I learned as I played, and every puzzle was a struggle, every gym leader a challenge. But that made it all the more satisfying when I managed to beat all the Gym leaders. I was still a dumb kid though so I didn't beat the league. Sometime around then, the first Pokemon movie was being sold as a VHS, and supposedly a mew holographic card would come with it. I won't lie, when I opened the VHS's case and didn't find the card inside... that was top 10 anime betrayals in my life xD but I was determined not to be upset by it, and watched the movie. I was a simple-minded kid, as I've already told you, so I didn't get the deep themes or anything, but it was an enjoyable movie. I watched that movie about 10 times during my childhood. That's when mew became my favorite pokemon. Since mew was my favorite pokemon, my dad bought me a mew keychain that lit up when you smacked the bottom (no lewding pls) when he traveled to Japan. I was ecstatic. I brought that keychain everywhere I went. But again, I was a dumb naive kid, so one day during my ballet presentation rehearsal (I think we were doing the Sleeping Beauty but not too sure), I showed it to one of my "friends" who proceeded to apparently throw it somewhere in the direction of the seats. I was heartbroken, and my dad and I spent about half an hour looking under every seat to find it without avail. My dad told me that my "friend" might have made a gesture of throwing but then didn't throw it and might've kept the keychain to herself. But since I had no way of proving that, I just gave up on that. My dad somehow bought me another one, but I also lost that one. I was a dumb kid (yep, hammering it home) so many of the kids at school took advantage of me and stole a lot of my stuff in the early school years lol Anyhow, one more thing. One Christmas, "Santa" got me a Pikachu plush that moved its mouth and said "pikachu! pika pika" when you pressed somewhere (I forget). I was ecstatic again! Though obviously the battery didn't last forever, it was a lovely gift. Aaaand you've finally finished reading the earliest memories of my childhood that concern pokemon after that, I got my first brand new pokemon game, Pokemon Emerald, and proceeded to buy the Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, and Pokemon Hard Gold. That was the last pokemon game I bought, because I started not playing games as much. I don't really know what I did in my free time. Guess reading lol It was actually finding the existence of DS romhacks (at the time didn't know they were illegal because they were hacks of older games, but I guess I was a dumb grownup as well) and me playing Pokemon White that brought me back into the franchise. I'd heard bad press about Gen 5 so I gave it a shot thinking it'd be meh, but really the haters were meh because that stuff was da shit. Gen 5 is still my fave gen. Then, I found out about fangames, and the rest is history my frens. Now I'm the literal definition of a Switch Girl, cause people somehow don't expect me to play Pokemon even though I'm Japanese for whatever reason. Whatever, their loss.

You can go back to Reborn City though it'll have to be the long way (from where you came). If you do the Vanhanen Castle story, you'll get a short cut but there's a lot of story and a couple of battles you'd have to do so can't say which you'd prefer. Alternatively if you headbutt some tree, you can catch combee which may be holding honey.

what can I say, you got "lucky" on that particular try xD but that 1.15% is still higher chance than finding a shiny without the charm in Reborn, and I'm sure you have encountered shinies so think of it was a very rare but possible outcome

Reborn ain't just a game you fight trainers, leaders and evil team and that's it. It has a yuge emphasis on story. it wouldn't make sense to side with Radomus and then lose to El. El won't be like "aww you tried, good effort", he's going to be like "ha! now gimme that Ruby Ring you loser". If you side with El though, it makes sense that he should be a bit more considerate even if you lose, cause at least you supported him. I think the same reasoning applies to the gauntlet too. You don't know what's happening while you've been hypnotized, but what really is happening is that three gym leaders have come rushing in to attempt to stop you. Of course they're going to use a lot of mons, in the hopes that if they battle you almost 3 vs 1, then you'll lose. It's a good plot point because it showcases the player's strength which is no longer match for the mid-tier gym leaders, but it requires much strategizing, which is also what Ame aims to make you do with the difficulty level of the game. Hope that even made sense, I'm half asleep lol

if your meowstic is a male and has the prankster ability, you can make it learn Reflect so that your team's defenses are up (iirc they use mostly physically offensive moves). Or if you want you can also make it learn Light Screen to raise special defense too. Give it light clay so it lasts longer. scrafty and pangoro would be a good counter to the three psychic mons and the two rock types, but beware of the passimian.I'd say you should get a water type and/or grass type also, which would help with the two ground types. I'd suggest a grass type like liligant which learns quiver dance and will prolly sweep Aster and Eclipse. Just beware of day-lycanroc which as fire fang but if Reflect is put up, I think lilligant shouldn't faint.

I can't believe some people out there are capable of reading at turbo speed lol and now you'll have to bear the same issue as my other readers cause I'm also a slow writer xD 57 chapters in over a year, slow. in the Reborn game file, there's this folder that holds the Graphics. For the change in sprites I just replaced one sprite for another (they'll show up as long as they have exactly the same name). But in some scenes I had to add more characters (especially Shelly and Pikachu who are pretty much always following Vanilla). So I edited the screenshots and added those sprites in. For the custom fight with Aladdin, I opened two Reborn game windows and used the online battle function. Then I edited the video to get rid of the "waiting..." text to make it a smooth battle. I think that's about all the customization I've done.

similar to azumarill, I find that unburden slurpuff with belly drum is a destruction machine xD only downside is lack of coverage moves, so run from poison or steel types. if you want a hyper offensive starter, I think blaziken or greninja are the standard ones that smell offense, maybe charizard can work well as well if you get drilbur in the mystery egg, you'll have a broken mon on your side fren

I'm a simple smol candy and categorize pikaclones based on whether they have cheek pouch-like things on their faces. That would include mimikyu's fake pikachu face, but not the marill line.
