  1. If it's the 1st quest you get from him, look for the people who have weird reactions when you interact with them, they react like they're observing something. Here's a list of sidequests, it also says what to do with Jenkel. (I actually prefer his 2nd quest because of the great reward)
  2. Fakemon idea: Was thinking of a high-speed, dark/ghost type, physical based, glass cannon. Has an exoskeleton skull in the form of a tortoise head with eyes a little bit deeper in the skull. Entire body is covered in some sort of dark-grey/black rags. One arm is quite long and has a 4 fingered claw consisting of a rather normal thumb and 3 scythe-like fingers, other arm has a more normal form. Feet can barely be seen and look like birds feet. The visible parts of the body all have exoskeleton in the color of actual bones. Can't really come up with a name though. Medium hp, very high atk (main stat), low def, s.atk and s.def, high speed. Signature move: Chilling strike, physical, ghost type, 90 power, 100 accuracy, 25PP, 15% of freezing the opponent "A horrifying attack that might leave the enemy petrified". Learnset would consist of most of the claw/slashing moves plus status moves like double team, sword dance and hone claws. Tried not to make it too overpowered, so I made it so it can easily be taken down if you manage to out speed it. When used right it can be a great sweeper that will last the entire fight due to stat-buffs (won't be able to buff its defenses though).
  3. I prefer using EV-boosting held-items and then training against the Woobats at the west entrance of the underground rail net. Woobats give 1Spe EV each and go down very easily, especially due to the fact that you fight in cave field, which allows you to hit them with ground-moves. It also goes faster than random encounters, enter the area, take out the 2 Woobat shadows, leave and re-enter.
  4. What I found to be the easiest way was by teaching a Compound Eyes Dustox Thief and then using a good rod at the pond where you defeated Noell. Frisk isn't really necessary as Luvdisc will be very common to carry a heart scale.
  5. You're getting very close to the point that you can make a choice between Heracross and Pinsir and you're also close to the point that you can get Beldum (which really requires a walkthrough). 2 others that I can recommend are Mamoswine and Drapion, they really worked for me at that point.
  6. If there ever were a game with a evil team leader like that, I'd never even try to play that game. 1 mega, 1 pseudo and 2 actual legendaries would make it a crap game right away.
  7. I've got autism and my DNA is no different from other people, same as people who are transgender. It's not physical but mental.
  8. Being transgender isn't something that can be scientifically explained, it's mostly a state of self-awareness. While being aware of your biological gender, you don't feel like it's actually your gender. It doesn't have anything to chromosomes or anything biological.
  9. @Octavius Perhaps you've missed a topic, but casper had mentioned that most of the reputation system was going to be apart from the main story in the form of side quests. This way there won't be any problems like the butterfly effect.
  10. @Octavius What you're essentially saying is that the sins of the father are also the sins of the son, which I personally completely disagree with. The people who want the former king's son on the throne don't necessarily have to be former henchmen of the old king, but loyal supporters to the former heir instead, having hoped for the prince to take the throne and make the country take a turn for the better. The story was made to make the player wonder about who they BELIEVE is wrong and who's right and come to their own conclusion, this wouldn't be possible if all the followers of the prince or the prince himself were complete bastards or if the new government was completely just. As to your answer of who had won the war: the king was overthrown and a government was created, but still in it's early stages and a struggle to fill the power vacuum is very common after a revolutionary war, example: time frame between WWI and WWII, where many people (Hitler included obviously) tried to take the majority of the power and influence of Germany. (It's not really unnecessary or unwarranted criticism, but a valid point tbh. Also, I just love to argue with people about certain subjects, for example: the story of this game.) (Ps. some words I used may not be the words that I actually mean, this is simply due to the fact that English is not my native language.)
  11. @Octavius it's not the tyrannical king, but his son that's having a power struggle, which means 2 clean slates against each other, both fighting to rule the country in the way they best see fit. Neither side is particularly evil, which makes it a grey zone with both sides having their pros and cons. Also, turning the story into a power struggle between a non-tyrannical king and governing council would completely destroy the entire story that ssbcasper came up with so far, as it's a post-war story.
  12. Guess I didn't misunderstand, came to the same idea of the player being a pokemon as well. Sounds interesting, and I'll definitely play when a beta will be released.
  13. I think a pulse Froslass would be nice, creating a massive blizzard and freezing everything around it and turning it's ability into Snow Warning, as it should have been as Froslass is based on the Yuki-Onna (which literally translates to snow woman), which is known in mythologies for creating blizzards everywhere it goes(rest of the story kinda differs depending on the version).
  14. It would make as much sense as turning the Pulse Magnezone into a crystal, just because they're both minerals.
  15. Turning it into Medusa wouldn't make any sense. Let's just make it a Hydreigon whose main body is underground, growing extra heads who attacks people everywhere above ground and turning the Pulse battle into a double fight, defeating the secondary head but being to slow on defeating the main head will make the secondary head revive.
  16. @Sceptilespy Clawitzer is also based on a cannon, only makes sense that it becomes an uber cannon, Hydreigon is based on the hydra, which keeps regenerating (except for when the wounds were cauterized).
  17. Would make more sense for Hydreigon to grow extra heads, it's based on hydra, not medusa. So instead of turning things to stone, healing itself from status effects and a bit of health every turn.
  18. @seki108 What almost cost me my sanity was resetting to get Jangmo-o as starter in Rejuvenation, after which I settled for a shiny Ralts with perfect sp.atk IV. Tried shiny resetting in Rejuvenation to get shiny Type:null and got it right away. My point being: most games on rebornevo have increased shiny rate which makes it pretty damn easy to get shinys while chances to get other special things are damn low. (farmed Heart Scales in rejuvenation with a simple Compound Eyes Dustox with Thief, went pretty fast to get a massive amount) Only reason for a Pick Up squad really is to get Lucky Eggs and Leftovers (and Ability Capsules, which I almost forgot about).
  19. No matter how hard people try, they can't get the newer game graphics in their fan games and are pretty much stuck with the GBA level of graphics. The official games however, don't have this problem and are making newer games so different that it gives a completely different feel. Only problem with official games is the story these days, it's getting far too predictable and sometimes they're even falling back on a game they already made (which isn't necessarily a bad with, example: ORAS), but now they're even making a "remake" of their latest game, no new pokemon, no new features, and most likely: not a very new story either (let's face it, if they changed the story so much that it could actually be seen as a new game, it wouldn't have the traditional pokemon story anymore). Fan game developers however, need to come up with interesting features and stories in order to actually get people to play they're games and are also getting a lot more comments (negative or positive) which they get to read 1st hand as they don't have some BS team filtering it for them so they only read the best comments.
  20. @whomst'd've'n't Is there an Archeops with Rock Head that can learn Head Smash, Brave Bird and perhaps Flare Blitz?
  21. I'm not going to help, because I wouldn't be much help anyway. Anyway, your "Gijinka" idea sounds a bit like the SMT franchise, but with pokemon, which isn't a bad idea if executed well. Would be a nice idea though to make the player a pokemon as well, or to just put the story in a time before there were any pokeballs, otherwise it wouldn't really make sense as to why the player doesn't just throw a pokeball. (I can't sprite or code, only thing I can do is a few ideas which might sound stupid.)
  22. @Commander I actually prefer the rubber band experience system over the simple level cap system. I prefer it mostly because it's also used a lot in many successful RPG franchises, for example: Final Fantasy. Makes it a lot easier to get past extremely hard fights, but will still come with the cost of massive grinding, without the penalty which is disobedience system (of which I'm certain that a lot of people hate it). Especially started to hate the disobedience system after Reborn with badges not/barely raising the level cap.
  23. Personally I don't think gyms are necessary, as long as something else replaces the level caps of the gym badges. If the game has nothing that prevents people from over training their pokemon, they'll likely lose interest very quickly as the game becomes too easy. A good example of a good replacement is Pokemon Apex, where it's replaced with some kind of curse with multiple locks that simply prevents the trainers pokemon from growing stronger.
  24. @Star Arcana Wouldn't it also make sense for Estelle to use maybe a dragon-type pokemon and a pokemon that sort of resembles a knight? As the 1st things someone thinks of when hearing fairy tales are a princess, knight and a dragon. (Although I guess this might just be a stupid idea, as there aren't really a lot of pokemon that resemble a knight, the knight-like pokemon would also pretty much become the ace and I'd be screwing up your trainer idea)
  25. I vote for multiple threads, as it would be very difficult to tie replies to any specific point of the topic. Most people also feel that when they reply to 1 of the questions, they have to reply to almost all of the questions in topic.
