I was thinking about some old cards I love and how Horus is genuinely my favorite card from the GX Era. So, why not give it an upgrade/retrain? The reason it's a fusion is that it did come from the prime of the Fusion Era. The reason it has a buff for its main effect when Fusion Summoned with those specific materials is simple: you something extremely hard, make use of it as much as possible.
