Getting Down & Dirty With The Ground Type Mono Run!
Satoshi replied to J-Awesome_One's topic in Team Showcase
Going pretty well. Your descriptive writings are enough to visualize the situation. But still I think that a pic of the encounter with gym leaders or important characters before the battle begins will seem good. That is upto you, coz you are doing a good job. A picture will only add good presentation to your story. Anyways CHEERS!! -
Getting Down & Dirty With The Ground Type Mono Run!
Satoshi replied to J-Awesome_One's topic in Team Showcase
@Awesome_One Good luck messing in the dirt....and I'm looking forward to your progress bro. ☺ Edit: I liked the story of your character and also the behind stories of your pokemons. Thumbs Up!! -
Ya, I'm also very excited for this. May be I will keep 10 of Ash's pokemons in hand coz you know its Reborn
-
I had exactly this in my mind bro!!
-
After seeing all of @Jess, @Zarc and @Awesome_One's post, I'm also feeling to do something innovative but may be i will do it after reborn gets completed. Thank you guyz...You people are truely inspirational.
-
Well it seemed like I was playing it by myself. Perfectly described. You can post stories like this. It will inspire others to do a mono run.
-
Go for sandbox mode
-
If you want a poison type pokemon in your team then you can go for GENGAR. Otherwise I will suggest you a Krookodile or Scrafty.
-
I also use a lot of cotton cadies But if you have a type advantage then you wont need so many candies and you can finish it in less time. Like I used only poison and steel type pokemons for the last fairy type gym.☺
-
Ya, for REBORN you have to keep ready 3-4 teams. 6 pokemons will not be enough. Neways my list of favourites are:- 1.Swampert 2.Rotom(normal) 3.Gengar 4.Lucario 5.Noivern 6.Gardevoir 7.Zoroark 8.Garchomp 9.Charizard 10.Ferrothorn(just keep it away from fire)
-
Wow!! You completed it so fast. Nice to hear that you liked swampert. And it was a very inovative idea. I hope that you will play other fan games like reborn and rejuvenation. ☺
-
Yeah, it worth wasting few balls to catch it. Afterall its extremely rare
-
Wow man!! You are sooo lucky to get a pokerus. I have never caught any pokemon with this virus. SUPERB!!
-
That Noxious Snake
-
Thats a real fighter. With him by your side, glory will be yours
-
Now which nature?
-
For safety, you can keep a backup for your saved file. I always do that.☺
-
So you finally did it. I hope it will be a successful run☺
-
If it have to fight against a grass type pokemon then ice moves comes in handy. So i think he should have one ice move.
-
Special moves below 100 is not so good for him. Blizzard will be great. Edit: Yes, he can learn waterfall. Sorry I completely forgot waterfall
-
Ya it is. It can not learn any "Physical" water type move. Thats why hydro cannon is the best option.
-
Dont worry, he wont let you down. But as his speed is low, you should have a powerful moveset for him. Like- Earthquake Surf/Hammer Arm(as its your only water type so you have to keep surf) Hydro cannon Facade(it helps you in bad times)
-
Wow!! Son of a CHAMP What nature?
-
Quick save is not a safe option. You should "Save" the game quiet often, its the best way to save your progress. And I have noticed that if you soft reset the game more than once then it shows error while chatching a pokemon.
-
Go ahead. Best of luck for your journey☺ For screenshot:- You can simply do it by pressing "prntscr" on your keyboard and paste it in paint. Then crop and save as you like.
