Addendum to the rules: Players can have a max of two vests at a time Day 1 The opening move quite dull. Sure, one side had taken riskier actions then the other, but it was known to be impossible to take a piece on the first turn. That’s simply how Chess worked. The boy sighed and flicked a few pawns around, jumping them around the board in boredom. Four of them were a space or two away from the edge of the board and he considered sliding them there or off of it. He neglected to do either, instead lining up his pieces in fun patterns. Internally, each piece had a war of emotions. They were overjoyed at moving, at being used, but they kept being moved inoptimally. They were no where close to the target they wanted. The one pawn that was accidentally placed next to the king had had its turn cut too short to even be useful. It was frustrating, their mortal commanders lack of competence and their lack of freedom. Day 1 lasts 48 hours. Have fun.

Night 0 The pieces shuffled on their tiles on the board, waiting for the deciding moment, the start of the game. With baited breath they waited anxiously, desiring to be moved a tile or more across the board, to serve their purpose. A kid rolled his eyes at the dramatic prose running through his head, staring at the old chessboard he had dug up in an antiques shop. The kid hadn't suspected the ancient game of kings, knights, and there armies was just... chess. He couldn't even return it. Lazily, he moved pieces across the board. Night 0 has started. You have 48 hours to do your actions. Pawn Promotion will start at the end of Day 1.

Alright, what Lykos says makes sense. A cult doesn’t want to be known until they nearly won or until they finally lose a member. It would be incredibly stupid to make people aware of a cult if you are in one, as now people are looking at who allies with who and what and where and when. I agreed with Eric bring suspicious, but I didn’t want to vote anything until Eric gave his defense. The defense swayed me to vote him more in how it was a lack of a defense. I mean, there are a lot of ways for Lykos to know about a cult, such as being the leader, being converted, noticing his stated inconsistency in the text, or perhaps even a penguin told him, there are a lot of possibilities. As it stands, there is either a cult or a yakuza mafia member, if what Lykos said is indeed true. Anyways, I’m inclined to believe Astra is town because Cass vouched for her. Astra either gives out fake guns, gives out real guns, or is Santa. I’m inclined to think the latter due to Astra not specifying what item Cass got. Granted, Astra could have simply been vague on purpose to mit reveal too much info. Nano died because he specifically claimed Psychic. As in, he claimed a role that practically guarantees a found mafia. If you were the mafia, why wouldn’t you want him dead? The role of Santa is still a legitimate target, but the randomness aspect of the item makes it a considerably lesser one. It’s still a scary one for this mafia. They don’t know where the guns, vests, and useless stuff is. So the mafia might target you, or they might not. At the very least, they know your not the doctor so they might avoid you because you aren’t who they want dead. I assume the mafia wants the doctor dead so that no one can stop people from bleeding out. Sorry I haven’t contributed much today. I hope this post had legitimate information and not a hidden rehash of stuff to make it seem like I contributed.

There is also the chance that Alaris simply has the bleeder role and it works at night too. Or that we have some slow kill vigilante out there running amuck. Regardless, if the mafia has any sort of tracking role they will have it focused on Alaris to find the doctor.

Never heard of a stabbing maf before, but stranger things have happened. I’d have thought if someone got stabbed it would be in the day. Maybe Seal just flavored the poisoner differently. Regardless, Roleblocker it’s up to you to run around chasing the mafia if we have a poisoner type role, that will keep the doctor a bit occupied keeping people alive.

Alright so, I’m not trying to disprove your idea, but my limited knowledge of the series points towards Cranky Kong being our ally, and a shopkeep is what he is. I’d be surprised if he was against us, but I think anything’s possible. The banana sales could just be a ruse to get people to open the door, I really don’t know.

Oh ho ho. We have a cat lady in the mafia. That is useful info. Now I would say there is a coyote risk, but Cass has her role identified, so it’s safe to say no Coyote exists in the game. It’s safe to say Diddy Kong and Grandpa Kong or whatever are in too. I don’t know much about our mafias potential list of characters to play guessing games there. Also, good job guys. Either our doctor or Roleblocker did good or our mafia forgot to kill, which is honestly a sad truth I know can happen. With a whole mafia still alive though, I doubt they forgot to kill. I’m more biased towards the blocker then the doctor, so whoever our potential Roleblocker ally is, stealthily keep them imobile for a while, would you? Sure the maf can use it to their advantage, but only by missing another kill. If I were them, I’d want all the kills I can get after missing a night.
