Hey guys! It's friday, it's 10pm, i haven't recieved my pokémons yet so to kill some time we could just chat a little, if you want to, of course! So as a starting subject, what is your favourite Gen VII Pokémon? And why? As for me, I believe my favourites are Silvally and Golisopod, just for design alone, stat wise i prefer Silvally, but my preferences are a fast, strong pokémon with weak defenses... Kind off like a glass cannon, which i haven't found in gen VII so far... What about you? Thanks for replying!

Mewtwo: My favourite legendary ever since i saw the movie, i was really mad (And still am) with the designs of the mega Mewtwos, both of them, and overall psyquics are my second favourite type (Dragons being my first). Rayquaza: Really nothing to say, amazing design, amazing story, amazing type, love every single pixel of Rayquaza. Lugia: Loved him since the movies too, i was really mad (Surprise) when i found out that Lugia is the defensive out of the 2 legendaries (The other one being Ho-Oh), since my play style is pretty much using fast glass cannons. Xerneas: First and probably only fairy type i like, i always loved deers, so yeah, that's pretty much that. Zapdos: Since they had to be 5, i added Zapdos, i used to like Articuno much more, but over the years i find Zapdos much more awesome, since he's pretty much the legendary bird-form of Jolteon, one of my favourites overall. Edit: I really don't know if i want to add Solgaleo instead of Zapdos, cause Solgaleo's desing is AWESOME but i know nothing about it since i haven't played Pokémon Sun...

I tend to prefer the normal colours, but some shinies are fantastic, good luck with your hunting

Oh, i really didn't know you could mess up the EV training.. just faster training or not.. But you can get all maxed out... Right?

And why is it useful to reset the EVs?

My goodness, i feel like a complete ignorant now.. And i was like "Meh, i don't care, i'll just play with it no matter how good/bad it is"

I believe i'm horrible on choosing topics, i'm trying my best! So, i've been playing Pokémon for quite a loooong time, never really cared for the EVs and IVs for 2 reasons: First i always thought "If i captured this pokémon, i'll stick with you, i'll be your friend and i don't care if you're amazing or horrible, i'll get the best of you) and second i didn't really think EVs and IVs were a big deal anyways, just small differences... But the more i read the forums, the more i believe i was wrong, that EVs and IVs are actually very important... Is that correct? If so, can someone with enough patience and time explain it to me? Thank you!!

In my opinion a full team is a must, Noibat won't help you alot since he will evolve in 48 if i'm not wrong, on the road you'll get better pokémons, grass and water starters have it tough in early game... So, if i were you, i would get a full team, and i would get all the event pokémons in Reborn, those are alot and some of them will be very useful to you.

This will sound boring, but to make it easier for me when i try to find a pokémon i organize them according to the types, then from most useful (or the one i like the most) to less useful (or the ones i don't like). YES! it's boring but effective!

I can tell already!! But i think the fun part of the mono-run is exactly that, the challenge that gives you.. And i don't know if you do this for the same reason as i do it, but i want to do it because i love with passion the dragons... So i guess it will be the same with you!! As you said, you'll probably have more issues than anything but it will be a great experience!

Yeh, you need to be on E16 content, Idk if you have Torchic already but that isn't out yet as far as i know.

Thank you so much! I did the upload, i figured that what you said it's correct, there's no challenge in getting a fully evolved from the start.. And the dragon challenge is actually the opposite of that, struggling till you get to evolve them, so hopefully i'll get some of the dragons i requested, if not, i may ask you for a Horsea or anything that will do me good!! Thank you so much again!

May i say, i love your Pokémon names, amazing. I can barely think of a good name or the main character so i don't really name my pokémons.. And i can appreciate someone who does and has such a nice "skill" if you will naming them... Love it.

Hello, i'd LOVE to do a Dragon run! But as we know dragons are kinda lacking for now... Would it be a possibility to get some in order to get me started? I made a list of the possible ones and why: As the "Main ones": Would be nice to get one of the following: Axew (Since it's base total is very similar to the starters in general, at least the final evolution) Dratini (More base total being Dragonite, but evolving much much further into the game than a starter) Gible (Same as Dratini) Bagon/Deigon (Not really that necessary, but if you want to add them too, then awesome!) As the "Bird": A Swablu would be the best option, it's not dragon but Altaria is. (I can get a Noibat myself very very easy in the earliest of the game). As the "Others": (I've considering this ones to be not as powerful as the starter, either that be for the base total or the other type that makes them vulnerable in early game with some events/gyms) Tyrunt Horsea Trapinch Skrelp Druddigon I think that would be awesome to get me started, Of course i don't want any of them higher than .. Idk lvl 10, since i'm starting from 0, i guess the early game will be really hard for me and it'll get better towards the end (except with Ice and Fairy gyms) But i'll manage it out... If not all of them can be added, feel free to add the ones you believe to be the most... "Reasonable" to add, if you want to make them all males so i can't breed them till i get Ditto it's ok too, i don't mind! Again, thank you so much for this, and i'll be waiting :D! I assume it would, but if he breeds and gives me the egg of the first pokémon, it will be an Axew, Horsea, Trapinch... Etc... So i will start with the first one, sort to say, and they will evolve into the dragon type if they're not dragon already... Which it technically will make it even harder for me, since dragons tend to evolve late of levels.

I don't really have that much to offer back, and the ones you're mentioning are all high lvl (Around 40-45+) I wouldn't be able to get there by my own, i guess (Maybe if i get an army of Noibats) I don't know if Charmander counts, considering it mega it's Dragon.. I've never done a mono-run, that's why i'm not very aware of the "rules"
