  1. Freya As soon as Aquila started heading for Law, Freya stepped into his path, making sure to let Law safely get away, and prevent Aquila from chasing him, "That's my friend, and he doesn't really like it when people just randomly go after him" Freya replied, before bringing her hand back down, "But, either way, I can assure you that I have no intention of stealing whatever cup Lucine has, and the reason why I asked why YOU'RE okay is because of that" she continued, pointing at the bottle in his hand.
  2. Battle Theme With new, dead fish flying in the air, Mot fires at one of them with his gun, dealing a heavy 63 damage. And, not only did he put a new hole in the creature, specifically through the eye, he also managed to put a hole in one of its wings, sending it crashing into the ground. Mitsurugi and Spicy, on the other hand, began slashing at the towering skeleton, which seemed to let out a silent groan as it began turning to the two. However, before it could do anything, Mitsurugi rapidly struck at its ribcage, the cursed bones groaning at the impacts as she dealt 231 damage in total. And, during Mitsu’s assault, Spicy unleashed another flurry of blows, hitting the Gashadokuro’s torso 12 times to deal 65 damage. The two Green Imps that attacked Mitsu seemed pretty proud of themselves to striking a Goddess… Only to watch as she practically ignored them, running the Gashadokuro. For a split second, they gave each other a confused look, mostly accomplished by the tilt of their heads, before splitting up, one chasing after Mitsu, while the other went for Spicy. The others focus on Mot and the new ghost, Enma. Shortly after they went for their targets, each began slashing at them, dealing 10, 11, 9, and 10 damage to Mitsu, Spicy, Mot, and Enma respectively. Ako pulls out two new slips, then throws them at both Mitsurugi and Mot. The prayer slips stop in midair, just before hitting the two, and begin floating around them as a nearly invisible shield begins to develop around them. Mot and Mitsu both gain 1+15% damage reduction for two rounds. The Red Imp that struck at Lexiel seems startled at the appearance of Soul Warden, hastily pulling back its guitar… Before lifting it above its shoulder, and bashing the summon, dealing 11 damage, though getting hit back for 5 damage. The other, ignores the fact that Spicy ran right past it… Instead choosing to get the fuck outta there. The still flying Dead Fish reaches behind itself, grabbing its fin-wings before throwing them like boomerangs, both slashing at Ako to deal 13 damage, before grabbing both when they flew back, placing the two back on its back as if nothing had happened. The other, however, quickly gets up from the ground and, sensing the most noticeable presence around it, scrambled over to Mitsurugi, jumping into the air and latching onto the goddess as soon as she hit the ground. The ground rumbles again, an otherworldly drum banging itself as the Yellow Imp burrowed back to the surface… Behind Mot, following the latter’s motorcycle movements. As soon as its feet touched the ground, the Imp grabbed its drum, holding it on its shoulder as the front portion opened up. Then, it fired like a cannon, blasting Mot for 42 damage. Thankfully, the slip Ako set up managed to hold itself against most of the blast, but a simple slip of divine paper could only do so much. Lexiel zaps the newly emerged Yellow Imp for 10 damage, healing Mitsu at the same time for 8 HP. Kino starts talking about resentment, summoning two Wraith Howlers (and healing everyone for 10 HP thanks to Lexiel’s Soul Warden). Said Howlers, along with Enma, charge the poor Green Imp 4, hitting it multiple times to deal 18 damage in total, and marking it with MALICE. The Gashadokuro lets out another silent roar, before pulling back one of its arms. Then, it lets out a gigantic slash across the entire battlefield, completely demolishing the bell in front of the shrine and dealing 42 damage to everyone (Mot takes 35 damage, and Mitsurugi takes 43 damage). The Soul Warden blocks as much damage as it can, but ultimately it broken by the Gahsadokuro’s slash, though it manages to throw its weapon at the Gashadokuro, the weapon bouncing off its head for 5 damage. 3. Freya For a few seconds, Freya just stared at Aquila, an eyebrow rising in confusion, "Uh... No? I mean, technically I'm a Witch... But not really, I prefer thinking of myself as more of a mage. I think I'm the only one here with zombies" she replied, bringing a hand to the back of her head, "Why do you ask? Is anything going wrong?" she asked, before noticing the alcohol bottle in his hand, slowly frowning as she made eye contact with him again, "Are YOU okay?"
  4. Freya "Well, it's fine. Nothing really seems wrong" Freya replied, patting Dyno again as she pushed herself off it, turning to Law... Only to notice Aquila approaching the two, "Oh, hey Aquila!" she greeted, waving to him.
  5. Freya Once Law nodded, Freya snapped her fingers, a new portal opening up and letting Dyno lumber out, impassive as always, even when Law went to work on it with the Red Eco. And during that, Freya observed, picking out what Law was doing to work with the Eco... Which sort of flew over her head for the most part, but she started getting excited once Law appeared to be ready to infuse her bear. Only to watch as her bear spontaneously combusted. "OH WHAT THE-?!" Freya shouted as her bear caught on fire, looking around for a way to put out the fire. However, as she looked around, she failed to notice that Law was already taking care of the fire by rapidly tapping a screen, so by the time she turned back, it was already under control. For a second, Freya sort of stared, before clearing her throat and approaching her bear, "Um... Sorry, I didn't expect that to happen" she apologized to Law, patting the side of Dyno... Only to lean on it when she realized how warm it was, "I'm guessing the fire wasn't supposed to happen?"
  6. Freya As soon as Freya was handed the canister of Eco, she picked it up, turning it around in her hand as she inspected it, "Huh... Hm... Yeah, I think we could try and use this with my bear? I think that'll be good for it, right?" She asked, glancing down at Law as she tucked the canister under her arm.
  7. Freya Needless to say, Freya physically jumped back once Law pulled out his gigantic gun, unsure of where it even CAME from. Where had he stored it? It didn't matter, but she was more than confused. But, thankfully, she managed to put aside her confusion to listen to the rest of what Law had to say, nodding slightly as he went through, "That doesn't sound that good-" she admitted, only for her to suddenly snap her fingers, "Wait, do you think I could use some of that Red Eco? I'll need to learn how it works, but maybe I could use it with my undead, or maybe even myself. Or Casper over there-" she asked, pointing at Casper with her thumb.
  8. Freya In response to Law's explanation on Eco, Freya frowned, thinking to herself as she stared at the canisters. That honestly sounded pretty cool, though the Dark Eco worried her. Why did everything dark have to be the worst off? It just couldn't be satisfied with her. Either way, it wasn't necessarily hers to begin with, it was Law's. "I see, that sounds awesome. So you use Eco a lot with your things?" Freya asked as she reached out with a hand, lightly tapping the Dark Eco's canister (or at least, what she assumed would be the Dark Eco).
  9. Freya At Law's frustrated response, Freya merely shrugged, "I figured. There was plenty wrong with it when I first got near it" she replied, before glancing back at Law as he pulled out his orange canisters, causing the Necromancer to raise her eyebrows before kneeing down to get a closer look, "Eco huh? What does it do?"
  10. Freya It took Freya a while, considering she didn't have much chances to get things right without breaking something, but eventually, she went to work. Separating her soul from her body for the duration of her setup, Freya set out to create the hole for the millions of souls. So, she began projecting a square "hole" onto the core, specifically to allow the souls to leave. ... And... It worked. Once she set up her spell, the trapped souls began pouring out, nearly hitting Freya's before she managed to float back far enough away. For a few seconds, Freya couldn't believe her eyes, but once she did, her soul began bouncing up and down with excitement, pure happiness on her spiritual face until she was forced to return to her physical body... Which let out a resounding "YES!" once it was back in control. Of course, that was shortly after Law entered, something Freya didn't notice, and when he asked his question, Freya froze, turned to him, and then cleared her throat, "Well, from what I remember, some guy named Urza wanted to use an entire Plane as a core for this thing. He just didn't think about making sure everyone inside was out. So they were just kind of trapped there" she explained, before placing a hand on her hip as she looked back at the core, "But, I managed to get them free, so now they don't have to be crammed into that thing."
  11. Freya It was nice being on the Weatherlight again. After everything, it was just nice to be able to relax in a quiet environment... Even if she did have Casper now, and she wasn't sure if he should be wandering the ship on her own. So, she merely asked him to follow her as she did her own work. Which was mainly focused on the the core of the Weatherlight, and the millions of souls still inside. Hence why, after reboarding the ship, she now was sitting in front of the large crystal, legs folded up, and her journal in front of her as she stared at the large stone. So far, her main goal was to release said souls, but she couldn't just... Break the core, because that seemed to power the ship, somehow. But, it was magic in origin, and the souls weren't even a part of the power source. They were just there. She just had to figure out a way to create an exit for them, since she couldn't pull out every soul one by one. That would just be impossible for her. Portal magic could do the trick, but only if she managed to apply it to a certain layer of the core, that only let the trapped souls escape. And not to anything bad. Well, it was worth a shot at least.
  12. Mira The plan was for her to prepare her counter stance, a tried-and-true defensive position that allowed Mira to almost always neutralize damage and then strike her opponent, as soon as Judge went to strike at her. Of course, before she had even gotten done with her response to Judge, the larger individual's axe had swiftly moved, giving her barely enough time to react before it slammed into her side, digging into her armor before she was thrown off. For a few seconds, Mira's body merely flew through the air before hitting the ground, managing to roll several times before she managed to get control of her motion, digging her hand into the ground and swiftly managing to slide to her feet. Of course, as soon as she managed to stand back up, she lurched forward, making a grunt that sounded like the had coughed up blood as her free hand went to her wounded side. The axe had done a good job of tearing through Mira's armor, and managed to hit a good chunk of Mira's actual body. The blow certainly hurt like hell... But she had dealt with worse. So, going to her defensive stance, Mira began channeling Magra into her wound, quickly sealing up the wound. Mira uses Cell Repair, healing her for 3d6+12 HP, while using up 1 Magra. Magra: 2/8 Mira generates an extra bit of Magra! Her next extra will come in 2 turns. Mira's armor reduces slashing/piercing damage by 4. In addition, all damage, including slashing/piercing damage, is reduced by 1. Mira takes 50% more damage from magic attacks.
  13. Sandman "<Trying to recuperate after getting shot in the chest, only to get pulled into yet another fight not even a day afterwards.>" Sandman replied quickly afterwards, not even phased by both the fact that Nader spoke Russian as well, and how he had a strange accented form of it, "<High activity isn't my usual business. I prefer my operations spaced out so I have ample time to prepare.>" From where he sat, in a hard to see corner of the room near Nader's work area, Sandman himself was inspecting his rifle, cleaning it up a bit and making sure it was working fine, all while keeping an eye on the rest of the room for the paranoid gunman.
  14. Azgrurk At Leo's response, and held out hand, Azgrurk merely stared at the smaller Humie. And stared. And stared. And... Grunted, before planting the crystal into Leo's hand, "MEH, NOT MY TYPE O' LOOT ANYWAYZ. IF YA NEED TO BREAK IT THOUGH, JUST HOLLA' FOR ME" Azgrurk replied. Neat as the crystal was, he was more than willing to crush it if it turned out to be a problem.
  15. Azgrurk To be quite frank, Azgrurk was relieved to be out in the sun again. That castle of that thing was far too strange for the Warboss. And, since he still had bleeding wounds on his arms, which were already healing up, it wasn't just his own imagination going out of whack. But, now was the battle time, which meant for lootin'. "OI, 'UMIE, GREAT WORK DERE" Azgrurk shouted, stomping past Kusuke as he approached the dark crystal, picking it off the ground with his metallic hand, surprisingly gently for his size, "SO, DIS WAS WHAT DAT GIT WAS TRYIN TO HIDE FROM US?" he wondered out loud, merely examining the crystal on his own.
  16. Walmond & Lambda Walmond was, admittedly, still not entirely used to combat situations. There was plenty she still needed to learn before she could call herself a "master" at the art. But, even an idiot would be capable of noticing when something bad was about to happen, especially from chilling humming noises. "Lambda, move" Walmond commanded instinctively. However, just before he had given his command, Lambda was already covering Walmond with her shields, flying to the side to make her less of a target for now, before running in. Whatever this woman had, it was not something she wanted to run into blindly, especially with her charge. Walmond uses Healing Field on Isobel, Rory, Empi, Hikari, and Masako, healing them for 2d4+9 HP. In addition, she also gets +5 to her healing from her cloak, which I... Forgot to mention. Lambda does... Nothing for this turn, aside of move out of Marisa's direct line of fire with Walmond.
  17. Platinum "... Yes, it has been a while" Platinum replied, shrugging off the fact that Aislin practically ignored her question on 'how she was doing'. It didn't matter though, because if there was something going on, Platinum was fairly certain Aislin would tell her. Hopefully. But, at the younger girl's question, Platinum shook her head, "Actually, I've been researching Layo as a pastime, but it's nice to have another head to share findings with. Aker should be getting a study room for the both of us, but I'm sure we can fit you in too" she explained, before standing up, a holding a decently sized portion of Aislin's books, along with her own.
  18. Platinum For the most part, Platinum was doing fine with finding books focused on Layo Mysticism. Granted, she already had a general idea of where they were, but the point still stood that she had managed to acquire roughly four books so far. Which wasn't too bad. What WAS bad was what happened when she turned a corner, admittedly walking a bit too quickly, and running into a walking pile of books. Needless to say, the sudden impact combined with the general mass of what she had walked into caused Platinum to stumble back with her own small grunt of surprised, almost falling over herself when some of the books fell onto her. Inwardly, Platinum cursed herself, as this was the second time she ran into someone on accident... In the same day no less. And she especially cursed at herself when she saw who she had ran into. "Hello Aislin" Platinum replied quickly, kneeling down and placing her small stack of books down, "Sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going" she added as she begun picking up some of Aislin's books, so she could help fix her mistake, "How have you been doing recently?"
  19. Azgrurk As soon as he opened fire on one of the Marionettes, Azgrurk noticed how one of the Humies took the time to kill the one that was currently stuck in its hand, causing the Ork to grunt in annoyance before dropping the wires, stomping his way forward while lifting his metal arm up to protect himself from the ropes being fired at him. Then, he approached the other Chain Marionette that had been attacking the small Humie, grabbing it with his claw once again. Azgrurk grabs the healthy Chain Marionette 2, forcing a STR v STR check. If Azgrurk wins (he has +6 Strength, +1 from his Mek Suit, and -2 from the shaken status), the target cannot use physical actions until Azgrurk lets them go or they win a STR v STR check. Azgrurk has 9 Anorky stacks now. Orky Action List
  20. Azgrurk "QUIT THE YAMMERIN' YA GIT!" Azgrurk yells at Leo, all while he snatches one of the Marionettes by the wires, before pulling out his Mauler Rifle, opening fire on one of the Chain Marionettes, dealing 3d6+6+8 damage, with an 8% chance to miss due to Anorky. Orky Action List
  21. Mira With her bomb now in place, Mira jumps back, then raises her sword, holding it perpendicular to her head as she glared back at Judge, "Go ahead and try" she responded to his earlier statement, holding her position as she waited for him to... Well, try. At that point, a dark vortex of energy began to swirl around her arms, before quickly traveling up to her blade. Mira uses her Lunar Stance, burning through 2 preparing to neutralize any attack Judge potentially makes on her, then deal 6d8+2d6+12 damage back. Magra: 2/8 Mira generates an extra bit of Magra! Her next extra will come in 3 turns. Mira's armor reduces slashing/piercing damage by 4. In addition, all damage, including slashing/piercing damage, is reduced by 1. Mira takes 50% more damage from magic attacks.
  22. Battle Theme Mot jumps on his “horse”, then shoots the Yellow Imp in the face for a hefty 70 damage. It’s not dead, but it’s certainly wounded. And a bit angry at him as well. And then, before the Yellow Imp managed to take a step towards the gunslinger, the Goddess of Calamity herself had launched herself at it, her slash managing to split the creature in half for a second before the two parts put themselves back together, taking 54 damage from her attack. It was still alive, but now it seemed close to death. Meanwhile, Spicy HG charges the Red Imp closest to her, being the one coming from the path, causing the Imp to raise its guitar as a shield as she went to town on it, slashing at it 11 times, shattering the shield into pieces with the first six hits, before carving into the poor Imp with the other six, dealing 25 damage. The Imp is wounded, but it’s clearly still willing to go. The Green Imps charge forth, two of them gunning for the Goddess Mitsu, while the other two went for Sorina and Mot respectively. The first two slash at Mitsu, dealing 7 and 10 damage respectively (17), while the others deal 10 damage to both Sorina and Mot. Sorina pulls out her Minishark, then blasts the Green Imp in front of her, a respectful explosion dealing 23 damage to the poor demon. The two Red Imps begin their own advances, the one stabbed by Spicy clawing at the Goddess, dealing 12 damage to her, while the other goes for Lexiel, pulling the guitar off its back as it jumped in the air, slamming it down upon her when it came back down, dealing 17 damage. With a screech, the Yellow Imp grabs the drum off its back, slamming it onto the ground in front of it… Before simply jumping on top as it spun around, digging itself back into the ground. Lexiel summons her first minion, the Soul Warden, healing everyone in the encounter for 5 HP! Kino summons her dead sister (which let's Lexiel heal everyone for another 5 HP), who then attempts to strike at the Yellow Imp. Problem was, it was underground, and moving rather quickly for something that was digging via drum. At that point, another large, skeletal hand rose from the cliffside, grasping at the ground, quickly finding a foothold that allowed the two hands to pull the rest of the body up. As expected, a large humanoid skeleton was what rose over the cliff side, but with burning red eyes, and a flaming core, two large swords stuck in its ribcage. Then, with what appeared like a silent roar, the demon lifted both of its arms, then drew both of the swords. Shortly after, two new demons flew up behind the Gashadokuro… Appearing as human sized Koi, wearing a robe and geta, and having two large fins acting like wings. Ako For the most part, Ako didn’t require much for her travels. Just her collection of prayer slips (blank or not), a small amount of Yen so she could buy things in emergencies, her ink pots, and then her brush. It wasn’t much, but it was all she personally needed. So, with her things in order, Ako headed out, offering one small prayer to Amaterasu before she opened the door of the Shrine- And saw demons, including a Gashadokuro, right on what was practically her front lawn. “... Huh” was all Ako could really say to the sight, before she drew three prayer slips, each between her fingers, and ran out to assist. Ako and the Gashadokuro have joined the fight. With Ako joining, Lexiel heals the party for another 5 HP! Turn Order Status
