  1. Tekeshi himself, after giving his response, was merely quiet, his little side project nearly done as he applied the last bit of medicine. There was only one thing that really got his reaction, as he was simply listening to the rest of the conversation, and that was the sudden door opening. The second the doornob started to turn was when Tekeshi suddenly snapped to his feet, hand flying to the hilt of his sword and nearly drawing it all the way out, his body already tensed up, ready to react at a moment's notice. Yes, it ached from the previous fight, and it did well to try and remind him of that, but considering the situation, Tekeshi opted to completely ignore that feeling, his grip on his sword tightening as the door began to open.
  2. Proditor, for the longest time, remained utterly silent. The paperwork was... Not what he was accustomed to, specifically if it was Human paperwork, but he felt like he had at least finished his own well enough. He, personally, had no real opinions on Piggot, though she did seem like the person who had a lot of things to do, considering how she wanted what they were doing done with as soon as possible. That, or she was simply not wanting to deal with them at the moment. Either way, it did not bother the Ethereal. Now it was simply time to wait for the testing, and listen to the others.
  3. "Guard, singular, and in all honesty I'd prefer that one moment to never be spoken of again, especially so soon. I'm still feeling the after effects" Tekeshi replied without hesitation, still focused on tending to his wound, "I personally blame the lighting of the place. Got in my eye at the worst possible moment" he added, his own tone making it rather obvious that it was mostly a joke on his own end.
  4. After helping out Viola, Tekeshi went back to the barrel he had sat down on before, now actually going through the work of patching up that gash in his chest. How he had survived it was a good question, he wasn't really wearing any armor and that axe should've gone straight through him, but for whatever reason, he was still alive. It was surprising, but welcoming. For the most part, the swordsman simply listen to the other people talk, focusing mostly on his own work. He himself didn't actually have much questions to ask, everyone else seemed to be doing that for him. He wasn't even surprised at the whole "knowing quite a lot about all four of them" thing, since it probably wasn't that hard to poke around and find out his own history if you knew where to look. He was mostly glad to be getting a chance to do something.
  5. The second the medicine is offered, Tekeshi takes some, moving to one of the barrels and sitting on it as he went to work on his wound, thankful for the chance to get himself patched up. As he began so, he suddenly paused, looking up at Viola as she asked for some assistance, then sighed, standing up and placing the medicine back on the "table", moving over to help Viola out. "Don't worry, I got it" He stated as he began to help Viola get her armor strapped on, "My name's Tekeshi, by the way. Pleasure to meet all of you. Wish the situation was better though, meeting new people in life threatening places isn't the best type of greetings"
  6. Tekeshi didn't respond to Viola immediately, being knocked out tended to make one silent. However, once the Vulnerary was applied, Tekeshi slowly awoke, sitting up and putting a hand to his head, "Ugh... That was not a good feeling..." he stated, then blinked his eyes open, seeing Viola, and with a quick look around, figured out what was going on and refocused back on the mage, "Thanks, by the way. Remind me after this that I owe you something" Tekeshi stated, now getting back to his feet and grabbing his sword, "For now, lets... Well, get moving" he added, moving back towards the rest of the team, though as he does so, he gets his own bit of Vulnerary and moves next to the guy with the spear, "Hey, need this?" Tekeshi asked, trying to get his attention so he could, maybe, patch up a wound. His own wound on his chest hurt like hell, but... Eh, he would live. Move to G6 and Vuln Mercadier
  7. For a second, Tekeshi almost felt proud. His sword arm wasn't as bad as he thought, as he was still able to slip through the guard and get a solid hit in... However that moment of pride was short lived when Tekeshi noticed the axe suddenly swinging out... Right towards his chest. "...Dammit" was all that Tekeshi was able to say before he was suddenly thrown off his feet, a good portion of his kimono getting torn from the axe's blade. Eventually, after a second of flying through the air, Tekeshi landed face first onto the ground, the rest of his body slamming onto the floor shortly afterwards. In hindsight, he probably should've stayed in that cell.
  8. "Well... That hurt. Might need to hang back a bit" Tekeshi states, then sighs, lifting his sword and charging the other guy with the axe. Move to I5 and attack Journeyman A
  9. Tekeshi himself caught the sword in midair, along with a vulnerary. After taking a second to inspect the sword, seemed pretty... Average, at best, he simply nodded, following the others out, "Well, the sword could be better, but it could also be worse. Can't really complain. Let's just deal with the guards" Tekeshi commented, then began to move alongside Doran, keeping his sword hand, and general stance, relaxed despite the situation. Move to J5 and wait for death something to happen.
  10. "Might be the case, who knows. At least we won't be wasting our lives on whatever-" Tekeshi responds to the mage... Only to pause at the sounds of struggle right outside the cell door, causing him to quickly stand up to look out, just as the guard was being dragged past the door. For a second, Tekeshi looked on in utter bafflement, specifically at the sight of DARK MAGIC, of all things. He was a merc, not someone who dealt with magic much, but even he knew what he was looking at it, and to be honest... It sort of worried him. That worry was not relieved when the hooded man suddenly came into view, though Tekeshi did get the message of being quiet, listening through their entire speech before shrugging, "Well, all things considered, I'd rather not do any more back breaking labor here. Since you're offering it, I'd love to get out of this place and give that Dastard my opinions on the whole abduction thing" Tekeshi stated, making sure to keep his voice quiet, though loud enough for the hooded man to hear him. All honesty, there weren't much reasons to deny... Whoever this guy was in this situation. It was either leave, or sign your death wish, and while Tekeshi WOULD'VE rather died instead of being stuck here, he'd also rather live than die.
  11. Tekeshi himself sort of sat in silence, leaning on the wall behind him heavily while listening to the others. Not because he didn't want to talk, mind you, but he was too busy devouring his bread to actually do so. However, once he was done doing that, and taking a quick drink from his water, he spoke, "I, personally, noticed how there are a strange lack of guards around here. Before they were practically everywhere, but around here they're... Well, still everywhere, but not as much as before." Tekeshi stated, before pausing, "... Then again, if there isn't much prisoners around here then I guess there isn't much reason to have a lot of guards here" he added with a small shrug before going back to his soup. In all honesty, he'd rather not have to eat, just so he could give the guards a reason to execute him. But the last time he did try that, it didn't end well, so eating was just better for him, in the long run. They COULD afford to get some more tasty food though...
  12. "Well, I was hoping to get in the action later on... Would've gotten more rest that way but... Eh. At least I get to get my revenge here."
  13. Proditor himself grabs his own form, grabbing a stray pen and filling out his sheet. He actually used one of his hands this time, using his psychic powers to keep the page from moving from the pen's motion.
  14. Proditor himself still barely reacted to anything, merely moving with the group onto the lift, keeping his distance from the ground, even when the lift shot upwards. His head did move a bit to see the morning sun rise, but aside from that, the Ethereal did not speak... At least, until the group reached their floor, where Proditor finally spoke in response to Linebacker, "I have no explosives on my person. That is something you need not worry about" Proditor said, floating out of the lift and into the rest of the room. Ethereals never used explosives anyway, unless they were from their very mind. Only the Mutons really carried high grade explosives, and they were practically bred to be front line soldiers anyway.
  15. Proditor himself remained to the side, floating a few centimeters off the floor as his motionless helmet gazed at the surroundings, the Ethereal himself completely silent. There was a slight twitch from the mention of Lung, but aside from that, Proditor could've looked like a statue, if not for his moving cloak.
  16. Proditor, likewise, would spend the majority of the boat ride explaining how an Ethereal's body really worked. For the most part, Proditor's explanation covered how truly weak an Ethereal's body was, mainly with the fact that all of their organs, with the exception of their large brain, were small and put to the side. For the most part though, Ethereal bodies were difficult to get a hand on, as when one would actually die, it would simply disintegrate at a rapid rate, generally being gone in the matter of minutes as a result of their frail bodies being overloaded with a sudden rush of uncontrolled psionic power. Along with that, Proditor made sure to explain how his blood worked, and how it was similar, yet different, to human blood. Since Ethereal bodies did not have an actual stomach, with the main organs being a single lung, heart, and simple digestive track to get rid of waste, they required nutrients to be directly injected into the bloodstream with digestive enzymes. Aside from that, an Ethereal's blood is more "jello" like than most blood, generally flowing slowly and also having a difficult time exiting the body, since it generally pools around a wound point. However, the majority of blood is directed towards the blood, which is the organ that absorbs the most nutrients of the body, simply to power itself. Aside from that, Proditor also states that an Ethereal's body, due to it's simplicity, is practically impossible to poison with sickness or actual poison, and can live for much longer than most humans, up to 500 years in the right conditions. For the most part though, physical trauma, burns, and other such wounds are extremely effective against Ethereals. ... Especially burns, Proditor emphasized. Especially towards him. In addition, due to Proditor's time gathering his will, he acquires a new item.
  17. When Proditor came up to the PRT building again, his arrival was still met with some unease, but he was able to get everything signed, which he, of course, signed the papers by using his mind to simply pick up a pen and write. He even uses his regular name, Proditor, as his actual name would be, most likely, too long for the paper to handle. ... Now though, he was on a boat, which traveled over the water with the rest of the group. For the most part, the Ethereal had minded his own business, staying to the side whilst... More or less ignoring the conversations this time. It was only when Harry spoke up did Proditor's mind snap back to reality, with the Ethereal's head turning slightly to face the human doctor, "I'm feeling much better than I had been last night, thanks to you. I apologize for my vague responses then, I am not used to those asking about my biology, which is why I would be glad to actually let you get another quick look and a better understanding of me" Proditor replied. It was at that point that he glanced towards the rest of the group, "... It would prove a good distraction from what is going up here."
  18. After a bit, Proditor turned and floated off. There wasn't much to do here, considering the rest of the group was already focused with their own things as they passed the time. He would've taken a gun... Actually, he wouldn't. Partly because a gun would prove less effective than his very mind, and partly because he never learned how to fire a gun. He was a military commander after all, not a true soldier. Essentially, Proditor leaves the warehouse group, floating up to the rooftops as he moved to the PRT building. The tests won't start soon, but perhaps he could get his mind prepared before it began, which was exactly why he was taking his journey nice and slow.
  19. Proditor After Proditor arrived back at the warehouse, saw the new arrival, and politely declined Lilly's offer for food, the Ethereal seemed to just... Vanish, having left the circle and 'wandered' off to some place else. Specifically, he went to a more quiet part of the warehouse and began to "meditate" (which was a fancy way of saying "sleep with enough awareness to tell if anyone was getting close"). When the morning came, the motionless Ethereal moved his head slightly, then rose back into the air, moving to the outside of the warehouse, where he was hearing some commotion. Once outside, he saw why, with most of the group outside, with some van wrecks stationed together and a large ship that had landed nearby, which seemed to be Mirri's, "... Interesting. First real time I've seen this up close" Proditor commented, looking directly at the X-Wing. It reminded him more of the jets Humanity used against him in the Invasion, but despite that, he had no doubts that it could be a powerful adversary, even against Battlecruiser-Class ships that his kind used in the Invasion. ... He'd have to see how it worked later on.
  20. Terumi When Terumi began firing again, his snakes came out, more intense than before, meeting Rei's missiles head on and causing them to explode. As this happened, Terumi was, after a few moments, clearly getting frustrated as the smoke began to block his vision, not even being able to see the hits that landed, "Come on, COME ON! You having fun yet? ARE YOU?! I wonder how LONG you can keep this shit up. How much juice have you got in there huh? Hopefully enough to rival a-" Was all he managed to get out before four missiles broke through the onslaught of snakes, barely giving Terumi time to react before they collided with him, causing a massive amount of dust to be thrown into the air. ... After a bit though, the dust died down... And in the middle of it was Terumi, barely able to stand upright as four large holes were blown into his body. But, instead of blood, dark green energy began to leak out, floating into the air and dissipating. Terumi himself staggered, coughing a bit and causing a bit of blood to drip from his mouth. After a few seconds though, he actually grinned, looking directly at Rei, "I'm not going to forget this, you know. Just be glad that She's the only thing keeping me from killing you outside this shit..." Terumi stated. Then, despite the pain he was in, he stumbled forward, hunching over... And laughing. Quietly at first, but soon enough, he had reared back, laughing as if he was enjoying the pain, all while his body began to break into dark green mist. And then, after a few seconds of his laughter, Terumi's body suddenly exploded, the mist quickly dissipating after the main body was gone. He'd be back, that was for sure, and he wasn't going to forget Rei's face.
  21. Proditor Suddenly, the door to the warehouse opens up, ever slightly, letting the floating form of Proditor in. The Ethereal continued to float in, letting the door close behind him without even touching it. As he approached the rest of the group, he took notice of an unfamiliar figure, sitting with the others and eating alongside of them. A line of thoughts went through Proditor's head, though he quickly picked the one conclusion that made the most sense in this scenario. "I see we have a new arrival" Proditor said as he approached the group, unmoving form gazing at Lucille specifically.
  22. Terumi When the second wave of attacks came forth, Terumi began snickering to himself as the torrent of smaller, less dense snakes began to pour out of that portal he had created before. But, as he did so, two missiles suddenly tore through the wave, hitting, and exploding, directly with Terumi as he straightened and tried to move out of the way. The explosion caused Terumi to fly off his feet, doing a full backflip until he landed back on his feet, skidding a few feet back despite that, and forcing Terumi to quickly draw out a knife and jab it into the ground to slow himself. Once he finally stopped though, he straightened, glaring at Rei and growling ever so slightly, some smoke rising off of his chest where both rockets had hit him, "Compliments aren't going to get you anywhere against me, but it's a good thing at least ONE person here has a brain" he stated, crouching slightly to continue the battle as another portal opened up behind him, "But, if you really wanted something fun, let me GIVE YOU something fun" he added with a growl. He did in fact register the fact that there was a (maybe unintentional, maybe intentional) insult in Rei's comment, which was probably why he was still planning on killer her along with everyone else. Or at least give her severe brain damage. Either one worked for him.
  23. "I plan to leave and regroup with the rest of the group. An analysis is... Acceptable, considering what current events in this world have shown" Proditor replied, turning towards the door, "I'll make sure to inform the ones in charge that I will be attending this test as well. In any case, I shall see you again at that time" he added, before floating out of the room.
