Good luck in the ghost gym.Dark type are weakened in that field and if I remember correctly the gym leader has definitely has 2 mons that resist fighting type moves even if you hit it with scrappy,it will be low damage.Unless the ghost type pokemon's secondary typing is weak to fighting,it will do neutral damage. But I should tell you.Flash will turn the haunted field into blessed into holy field.In holy field,you can hit ghost types with normal types moves for super effective damage. I would give you more advice but you are doing a nuzlocke and I literally don't have much idea about it.

I don't think mudkip was available in version 8.1. The current version is V9.So you should update it.Mudkip is available in V9.It's in secret shore(sheridan wetlands) where you have to find it in few locations and then catch it. Check your bag.Is the silver ring kept as an item or a key item? In episode 16,the silver ring is now a key item.So if your ring is kept as a normal item,the croagunk might not join you. So you might have to make a topic in trouble shooting so a mod can change it and make it a key item in your save.

I have some recommendation with your team: Crobat - Teach it acrobatics.A 110 BP without item is lot better than a 2 turn move named fly. Magnezone- It has electro ball.Why? Any fire type pokemon with flash fire is going to do heavy damage to your team.So you can choose Chandelure or any other dual type fire pokemon.

Maybe not creative in my case: Against Samson: Crobat holding metronome and has acrobatics. Turn 1 use acrobatics,OHKO. Turn 2 sends lucario,Send a pokemon with fire moves to use up that focus sash. Turn 3-5/6 hyper potions, OHKO from fire types. Turn 7 switch in Crobat. The remaining turns only use acrobatics and OHKO everything including that conkeldurr. Acrobatics always hits 110 BP in that field.Because of metronome,it is boosted every time hence nothing can withstand it.

Drapion -Dark/poison.Only 1 weakness.Learns cross poison,night slash,acupressure,toxic spike by level up and elemental fangs by the move re learner.Then you have to box mightyena. The problem with your swoobat is that it has klutz.So if you want to use it,use an ability capsule and turn it simple.Reteach it calm mind.Then using 1 calm mind will increase your sp. attack and sp. def by 2 stage because of simple.So if you can time it well,you can take out a few pokemon.

How is Tad landing so many hypnosis? I don't think any of my pokemon ever hit a move that has below 80% accuracy.

That's called bad luck.Also going to assume it didn't have sturdy. All of my pokemons were underlevelled at the battle.I didn't even need a numel.I beat Conner both times before and after the nerf. That wasn't the point I was trying to make.I was saying there are more pokemons so Conner is easily beatable.

I am going to assume you only played early versions because the pokemon availability was changed. More pokemon were added early game for people to easily beat Conner.A simple example would be Geodude.
