Chapter 9: In Search of Saki Before I leave Goldenleaf Town we get a peek at what's going on with Ren Also before I leave, there is another errand to complete... At this point I was still undecided on what to pull from this egg. But as it turns out, the decision was made for me. I was prepared to cheat alter the mystery egg variable, but it seems this time I am a lucky boi grill Now I travel to Route 4 with Aelita. It's an attractive area, though perhaps a bit gaudy for my taste Mere steps into the area I find myself in a strange situation though... So I end up playing hide and seek with Nim. It's pretty fun I guess I spot another familiar face here One more happening of note: But that's enough playing around. I need to get into Akuwa Town. Vs. Nim This one was a major pain, but we did it once I worked to match her levels Before I wander into a likely mistake, I do indeed go and collect a bicycle. Also, in preparation for the not-too-distant future I use a Fire Stone: That done I step into the Akuwa gate. It's empty... Not a good sign. The town is much the same, but there is someone... Aelita asks me to retrieve a defibrillator which wakes him up. So he was no help at all. We keep searching... So we head to the Aquarium... The audio file is extremely distressing though... What indeed? It sounded like- Then the power goes out. We should probably get out of- We manage to make it outside, but... So we are spirited away... Surprisingly, I did not depart on a romantic dalliance with a pretty girl...we were actually Taken. What will happen to us? ... Stay Tuned~

The only other Water mons that fi the pattern (that I could think of) are Spheal or Tympole. Don't know if they would be any more popular though... I guess with some finagling you could use Lotad too

Chapter 8: Town of Tarnished Gold, Part II When we last saw our heroine, she had just (barely) defeated Eli and Sharon again in order to un-trap Mosely and Narcissa. Mosely, Narcy- and I continue downstairs. I find one more journal entry... And before us is something most shocking. Doesn't seem so. But Geara has some exposition for us, because he's definitely the smug type who would But none of this really explains why Geara is here though...what does he seek to accomplish? So Geara brought all these Xen dudes down here just to settle this one-sided grudge with me...no wonder none of them wanted to be here, no part of this was necessary Vs. Geara why do we have the same hair Geara your soul looks like it's leaking out...you should watch that So he was all talk (duh) By now Narcy (who didn't help me in the fight...) seems to really recognize Geara But she's had enough of this tantrum he's throwing. Narcissa banishes him to...somewhere (she did that way to easily...no way it's her first time) We then retire to Narcy's house, where she even prepares for us a delicious meal! Oh and Aelita is here. She didn't die either, after all. She is a bit perturbed about going down so easily though, so she now has renewed motivation We still intend to fix this disturbed town, but we need a plan. Since Narcissa needs me to win the fight, I should do some research...better ask Jan What Jan did not say there is that certain Fire moves gain additional Ghost typing in this field, including Flame Burst and Flame Charge (and I even already found that TM!) Narcissa is here to begin the show. But I'm not alone... So it's to be a competition then... After I navigate Narcissa's extremely haunted gym/theatre I'm almost at the stage. I manage to arrive at the same time as Ren (even though he had a headstart...) Since Ren is now an obstacle, I must be rid of him Vs. Ren This was troublesome. Greninja is way too fast for me, so I weathered a couple Scald sweeps before getting it right Ren's upset about losing Now that that annoyance has been brushed aside, I can take the stage across from Narcissa Vs. Narcissa This time the field gave me a very useful buff, so it was surprisingly easy The battle is won! (Hold for applause) Not everyone was entertained though Our production was a hit though. I even got another badge out of it. We also get a peek at what's going on with Geara over in the Shadow Realm Now Aelita and I can (finally) get back to our journey to find Saki Blakeory in Akuwa Town. We'll have to pass through Route 4 to get there...wherever that is... Next Time we head to Route 4, and then Akuwa Town! Stay Tuned~
