Hopefully, the choice with Dr. Sigmund and the house siege will show them that their choices can really matter The main reason they are ignoring the plot points is because they are so butthurt over how badly they are doing in the nuzlocke and they aren't learning the mechanics of the game which is literally what the first 2 gyms of the game are supposed to do. I keep posting the field effects of the next gym in the comments to show them how complex the mechanics are and that they need to learn them, and because they clearly aren't gonna find all of them even though some are in plain sight.

this scene was unintentionally removed in version 9 so since it didn't play for you back then, going through the room triggered it now -
fly is unavailable until version 11

There is an elemental seed near the HOH which gives your team tailwind for 8 turns so I opened with something useless to get it out there and let my jolteon sweep Electric mons do really well obviously, but one thing I did was teach one of my mons smackdown to change the field to a mountain field which takes away his ability to use Fly/sky attack in a single turn.

most of the version 9 mods work for version 10, there are a few parts of the select weather mod that don't work but all of the additional options mod (contains debug mode) work fine. the only downside to using that mod is that any progress toward achievements will be reset
