That may also be why melia is having troubles trusting us. At first when she said she couldn't trust us (even after we saved her dumbass like 4000 times) I got pissed off and confused. Like what have we ever done to be untrustworthy? It seems like all melia ever does is make rash decisions that lead to messes that we have to clean up, and now she has the audacity to say she doesn't trust us?? But maybe she somehow senses that our role as the interceptor is not synonomous with her role, whatever that may be. In fact, we may even have to stop melia from doing something at some point.

Yeah. This thread is actually really interesting and I totally agree that zygarde is the best pick now (was expecting xerneas before). It's gotten me excited for possible plot points in the future, but it has also killed me a bit inside because I know I should probably go catch up with all the zygarde cells now. Regardless, I could also see Giratina being a possibility at some point. We know Griselda's past to an extent now so she may want to work together with someone who disagrees with spacea and tiempa. This is pretty unlikely imo though because now that giratina escaped it's captivity, it might go try to save Geara from the brink of death. Giratina will definitely play a major role in the story though. The only other legendary I can think of that could be ours at some point would be regigigas because of the obvious connection of the regis and nymiera's followers. There might be more legendaries locked away in garufan ruins for us to find though. We'll see.

By the way I sent this post to a group chat and asked my friend Alex who's in college whether he could verify if what you said is true, but it turns out he's an anomaly. Is anyone else here in college who can verify it?

Listen, I don't mean to be the kind of guy to rush development, but I don't have much time left. See, I graduate high school in 3 days, and I will go off to college in early August. That means I have just a little over three months until I become a frat boy, and stop caring about pokemon. It's not something I look forward to, but at the end of the day, when one of your dope-ass homies offers you a hit on that wacky tobacky, you have to accept it when you're in college. No, as in something that counters decimation. Sure, it wouldn't be something as good as decimation, but it would be something that counters it. I would expect either an ability similar to queenly majesty or a move that, for example, couples quick guard with dealing damage. I think this method would be more consistent thematically with the plot, because you aren't just saying that the big bad has inexplicably lost the only reason she beat the player the first time they encountered each other. If yveltal eventually just loses decimation for no reason, it will seem like decimation only existed as a cop out in the first place imo.

What kind of gamer takes that long to respawn? If you were a true gamer, you would have 98 lives left to do with what you wish. Then you can just go to the bank, ask for a couple rolls of pennies, and then you'll get your 99th life back.

I was assuming the xerneas would get some bullshit that rivals the yveltal. Since they are sort of opposites, it stands to reason that xerneas would get something that would allow it to stand up to yveltal imo

We’ll probably end up with xerneas since that is the logo for the game, and because madame x has an yveltal with the most broken move in the history of turn-based combat. That’s still going to be very very late game though

Yeah that's true. I forgot Volta even existed tbh. Although I don't know about Risa. She seems like too much of a haughty rich girl to associate herself with bladestar, since bladestar is a sort of "down with the burgeoisie" kind of group. However, she has spent time fighting team xen, so it's a possibility that she would all herself with an opposing team.

We'll probably get to see who the other leader of bladestar is in this episode as well. I think he or she was called V for anonymity. I don't think it's going to be a character we've met already, to be honest, but we'll see. I want to see more bladestar stuff in general. I joined this group a long ass time ago and I intend to actually do stuff as a part of it. But now Flora's busy killing Erin as collateral damage and she didn't even fill me in on the details beforehand. Not cool. On the other hand, it looks like those two weird twins may have died in the explosion too, so Flora's not all bad.

We aren’t allowed to have nice things. We aren’t even allowed pseudo legendaries yet, so even a trash tier legendary like zygarde 10% is out of the question. I definitely agree with you about ryland being the ground leader. We know he is strong because Alexandra called him to help Ren and the player with the rift. Also we know he was a bladestar admin, which explains why so many bladestar grunts have ground types. Most bladestar grunts have either ground types or grass types.

Damien is functional as both the dragon type and dark type gym leaders, so beating him may just give us both badges. On the flip side, we might just get to win the tournament, but that isn't looking likely. Classic anime bullshit: the tournament arc that everyone had been looking forward to must ALWAYS be interrupted by an antagonistic third party, causing the tournament to be cancelled.
