  1. I thought we had 9 members, my bad. Nobody mention that we've all been mixing Psychic and Dreamer up, though Cass got 3 people in the report she got... maybe Nano was the Dreamer after all? In hindsight, I suppose it's not a bad decision, but if we have 2 or 3 mafia right now I'd like to try and stay alive so I could possibly help more. Granted, if I don't get lynched right now, I'm not expecting to survive past the next night phase. I'm mostly worried since we don't know who, aside from Cass, has bananas (food) and we're running out of time to eliminate mafia. That's why I'd like to potentially stay alive so I can help eliminate mafia sooner.
  2. It's very cute that you'd go through old games just to try and make an effort to make you look more towny. You're making too much of an effort, honestly. I could do the same and remind you of Birb Mafia, where I was Vigilante, and acted slightly suspicious so that mafia wouldn't kill me but not sus enough to get lynched. I killed 2 mafia in that game, one of which was someone brought up in a report where it was myself and two other people. Do you notice a pattern?
  3. I just want to state that, from all games where one has been in, the Psychic report will list out three people, of which only one is mafia. Therefore, only either Alaris or myself will be Mafia. Granted, this game is kinda weird where people have had modified roles and such. Whilst I'd usually favour the lynch tie early on in the game...it doesn't favour town. One of us is guaranteed town, the other is guaranteed Mafia. As I recall, we have 9 people left -- 3 mafia and 6 townies if there isn't a cult in play. 1 mafia (if Eric wasn't lying), a maximum of 3 cult members, and 5 townies left. Lynching both of us would get rid of one town and one mafia, which brings it down to 2 maf and 5 townies in play (without the cult -- if the cult is in play, that leaves 3 cult members against 4 townies). Alaris probably has the upper hand by claiming Swanky Kong (which, I think, is a member of the Kong family), but I don't buy this. Like, at all. It's an easy thing to claim, especially if you know about Donkey Kong, which would give you more town credibility. But do you really want to risk lynching both of us when someone has claimed an investigative role (aka, the probable last person capable enough of finding out for definite what someone's alignment is)? Do you want to risk losing the investigative role? There probably isn't another one in this setup, which means you'd be lynching based off reads.
  4. Whilst my claim etc. seems rather sketchy, I find it amusing that you'd try and deny a claim from a Cop - not only that, you also claim a role that roleblocks everyone (should people give you the chance to "prove" this). It seems rather odd that both a Psychic report and a Cop report brings up that you're mafia and you're trying to deny that by claiming one of the most bizarre roles I've ever seen and haven't really seen much of in setups. And the fact that there are people voting against someone claiming Cop seems rather sketchy. Granted the people I've visited are people who have died, which is more beneficial to Mafia, and someone else who also came up in a Psychic report which, at the time, was my only motivation to investigate you (since, as mentioned before, I didn't feel anyone else particularly was scummy). I feel rather uncomfortable knowing that you have a gun when I know you're the Mafia out of the two of us. Yes, people will lose a gun when they lynch you, but it's better to lose a gun rather than lose 3 townies in the next 2 phases if I end up being lynched (that's me lynched, the mafia kill, and Alaris' target killed). We know that Alaris will end up shooting someone the next night phase once it gets revealed that I am town, because he knows he'll be next on the chopping block and will want to use his gun. I hope the townies make the right decision here.
  5. I’m sure you’ve noticed that my pattern when I get a power role is usually to lay low. I didn’t want to do anything that would draw attention to myself, which is something I usually do as a power role. I investigated within the trio because it gave a lead and I didn’t know who else to investigate. You’re the only one who appears to be defensive of Alaris so that’s another lead I can look into should I survive the next night phase (which would be unlikely if there are still mafia members left). I had no other leads and didn’t want to look randomly, since no one else has struck my attention to be honest. Regardless, if I get lynched today and flip town, Alaris has a gun that he will shoot and we’ll lose 2 townies. I’d rather not risk that.
  6. The simplest of explanations is that I didn’t know, at the time, that Lykos was town. I tried to use information gathered to work with Cass (since I assumed she would shoot one and I’d investigate the other). I didn’t want to defend one over the other because I didn’t want to risk getting shot by Cass. Also, Astra, Nano’s report contains one mafia member luckily.
  7. Maybe that is what Swanky Kong does, but I very much doubt it's what you do. I find it hard to believe that mafia would frame you two nights in a row to make you appear mafia, and I know that I'm Squawks...part of the town. Regardless, whoever is lynched today out of me or you would result in the other lynched the next day phase if either of us show up as town. I get that Squawks isn't a Kong, but he's listed as a good guy and is very friendly with the Kongs (according to the Wikia page anyways). I'm not sure what else I can do or say to prove I'm town, but if I get lynched today and I show up as town then you know who to lynch next, just saying.
  8. It may sound sketchy that I'm voting for a mafia member over finding the cult leader, if there is one, but as I mentioned before, if there really is only one more mafia member left (due to others being culted), we have an extra day phase to find the cult leader. If we lynched someone today who wasn't maf or cult, town would probably lose by the next day phase since mafia could kill town and the cult would recruit someone and town would then insta lose either by Day 4 or Night 4 due to being outnumbered. I find it odd that Alaris claims Party Host, since it's a role that no one else would think of claiming, and asks us to give him an extra phase to "prove" his ability, when really he is trying to buy time as mafia. The things he's been accusing me of are things that he's exactly doing. Besides, I have doubts about his claim since Cass received info from Nano that stated Lykos, myself, or Alaris were mafia. I know I'm not maf, and we now know that Lykos wasn't mafia. The last person it comes down to is Alaris, which I have now proved by outing myself as Cop stating his alignment. I had doubts that Alaris couldn't be mafia since someone could have framed him last night when I went to check him, but upon rethinking about this....if that was the case, he wouldn't have come up on Nano's report previously. It's possible that there either wasn't a doctor to begin with (which is kind of weird), or the doctor has since been culted. Both scenarios seem kind of plausible, which means Alaris would have been lying about being stabbed or Amber (or whoever the cult leader is) culted the doctor on the same night he got "stabbed". This means that, if there's a mafia member remaining after Alaris, I'll probably die the next night phase if the doctor is no longer around. Since the game is pretty much full of modified existing roles, we also can't rule out the possibility that the cult leader's cult doesn't die with the cult leader.
  9. That...seems rather strange. I find you as Mafia and you want to get me lynched, then you claim Party Host and ask us to wait until the next day phase? That smells rather fishy if you ask me... I don't know what everyone else thinks.
  10. If Baz is another Veteran then Nano's made a booboo. [unvote] Bok [vote] Bazaro.
  11. @Bok Choi 1. The information I get tells me who they are. For Cass' case, I was only told that she was Donkey Kong (since it's obvious she's part of town), but I was told Amber was Kalimba from the Tiki Tak tribe. Since there wasn't anything that this could match up to, I automatically assumed he was third party, so I thought it was possible he was the cult leader. I got told Alaris was Krusha from the Kremlin Krew. 2. I'm not sure about action priority, but I assume that investigations happen before everything except for culting and healing/roleblocking. This would mean that Amber was picked N0 or N1 (if he is not the cult leader) if my thoughts are correct. This assumption is based off previous games, so I'm not sure if that's entirely accurate here. I get that this seems kind of scummy, but honestly I'm trying to help town by saying what I found out.
  12. Well, you’ll see when I die and come up as town (since I was told I was town and therefore I believe that’s what I am.). You can vote Alaris tomorrow if I show up as town. I don’t have much experience with Donkey Kong, Alaris probably has more experience with it than I do, so Alaris is making it easier for Mafia to win. If there’s no cult in this game, then Dive is mafia alongside Alaris. Both of them seem to want to get rid of the person who claimed cop. I have nothing else I can say to defend myself because I have nothing else to say. I can’t defend myself. It’s up to the rest of you to decide, but when I show up as Sqwarks and show up as green you guys know who to lynch next.
  13. Oof 2nd post since I forgot that there was a second part to your first question (sorry!). I investigated Cass at the start since it’s hard to read her and I wanted to make sure. Amber kind of rubbed me off the wrong way during day 1, so I investigated him out of curiosity. I had nothing to go off on N0 so it’s unfortunate that Cass was basically the important role.
  14. 1. I investigated Alaris because of Cass’ report from Nano. I had a feeling she’d shoot Lykos, so I thought the most logical thing would be to go for Alaris so that we didn’t have the same target (therefore me wasting a night action). I can’t visit myself so... 2. It’s stuff I’ve done before that’s worked in the past (remember that game on PC where I claimed Cop and so did you?). I’m not really sure why we’d have both Psychic and Cop, maybe balance reasons? I don’t know... I honestly can’t answer that. 3. I’m honestly not sure. I felt that Amber was the leader of the cult, but maybe it works differently in this game. We’ve already had different things like Cass being basically a Mayor with a gun... 4. I changed my statement since role cop was not entirely accurate, it was honestly poor wording on my part. I don’t exactly find out their role, but I can find out which character they are and what their alignment is. I know that the original post says the town consists of the Kong family, but I don’t know who is in the Kong family... is it not possible Squawks is their pet parrot or something..? Surely those who are town would be able to clarify if they’re not a Kong but are town.
  15. I wanted to keep myself on the low since I know that once I reveal, I’m a big target. I wanted to not be so obvious. Amber came up as Kalimba, yes. I’m being honest! I get that it’s kinda scummy that I’d come clean now, but it’s crucial. I am Squawks, the Cop. If I was mafia, I’d have claimed Cop from the start. That’s my common tactic. I wouldn’t leave it this late to claim if I was mafia. I legit have no idea about any of the characters, so I googled my own to make sure which alignment I had (since I didn’t get a mafia chat invite and was confused whether I was town or third party). Amber was a part of the Tiki Tak tribe, was he not? I googled info about that when I got told he was Kalimba, and guess what? It’s a tribe that recruits people. Kalimba was the ‘leader’ of said tribe, allegedly. That’s the reason I think there was a cult. It’s just odd that he was the only one who died. I can’t think of any other role he could be. Anyway, if you lynch me today then town will probably lose. You’ll see that I am town and then you can lynch Alaris the day after if you have enough time. The famine has started, which means we probably will not have enough time (since we’re not sure who got food and who didn’t). Trust in me, I promise Alaris is mafia.
  16. I’m not exactly a ‘role’ cop, I just know their identity. Alaris is Krusha btw. I’m not sure what else to say, I’m being honest. I’ve never played Donkey Kong in my life and have only looked up myself since I wanted to know who they were. I knew Donkey and Diddy but nobody else. You can trust me or you can’t, but either way if we don’t lynch Alaris today, town will lose definitely.
  17. Alright, guess what? My name is Squawks and I am the town aligned role cop. I visited Alaris and found out that he is part of the Kemling Krew. The problem with this? Eric stated there was one left, with another one being culted. We need to find the cult leader, because town will soon be outnumbered (I think it’s actually day 3. I visited Cass N0, Amber N1 - he got culted between N0 and N1 btw, and Alaris N2? So that’d leave us with 9 people left: 1 mafia according to Eric, 3 cultists with the death of Amber, 5 townies). With this info, we lynch Alaris today and hopefully we have enough time to find and lynch the cult leader before the famine kicks in! There’s also the offchance that Amber was the cult leader btw, but I’m unsure since he’s the only one who died. I am choosing to reveal myself now because Eric stated there was only one mafia member since the other got culted. [eliminate] Alaris.
  18. I personally have very strong town vibes from Lía right now. She's hard to read, but I feel like she's genuine and town. I appreciate her thoughts for Amine, though. In ToS, we generally want to keep an eye on players who seem "inactive", but unless we have solid evidence on them, we don't want to get rid of them since we're more beneficial in numbers. I've had a few whispers, I won't reveal anything contained in them, but I've had the chance to think about a few things. Since the game is on hold right now, I'm not going to shift my vote, but I wanted to give some thought into this as someone who has had experience with ToS. I might change my vote when the game continues, but it's staying where it is for the moment since the people who are getting voted are people who I'm either townreading (Lía) or are ones that are currently inactive and I don't really want to vote for either.
  19. Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention. Your roles are safe being revealed. The Werewolf of ToS simply visits one person at night (he used to be able to stay at home and kill anyone who visited him, but now he has to go out to people) and he will kill that person, alongside anyone else who visits the same person the Werewolf does. On nights where the full moon is up, I'm pretty sure the Sheriff can find a Werewolf. Otherwise they'll just find them as innocent. I'm unsure if there is such a role in ToS that can guess roles and kill (and if they are, they're in the Coven expansion. Fortunately, there aren't any Coven Expansion roles in this game) but I'm leaning towards there not being such a role. Investigators can also check if there's an Arsonist in the game, since anyone doused will appear as "Bodyguard, Godfather, or Arsonist" instead of the role they have. Unfortunately, it looks like the list we have and role claims we have mean it's likely there isn't another Investigator, but there's always a chance. @Bok Choi Do you feel more comfortable revealing anything?
  20. Here's what I can tell, based on the information we already know (see the server for a list of the roles in the game). This information might help you guys so we can all work together to determine what roles are in this game. I know people can look on the site, but I feel it's best to provide a list in front of you so you guys don't have to switch between sites and stuff. Jailor (this is a town killing role, but not the town killing on the list since this one is confirmed). (Kiet claimed with no counterclaim.) Town Investigative (this could be the Investigator or one of the Spies that we lost, but it could also be the Sheriff). Town Investigative (see above). Town Killing (More than likely to be the Veteran, me, but the other town killing roles are Jailor, Vigilante and Vampire Hunter*. Jailor is a unique role so there won't be 2 Jailors in this setup either). Town Protective (Doctor, could also be a BodyGuard). Random Town (One of the Spies or Investigator, could also be anything! Literally any of the town roles). Random Town (see above). Random Town (see above). Godfather Mafioso Random Mafia (we already know one of these was the Consort) Random Mafia (Could be another Consort, could be Blackmailer, Consigliere, Disguiser, Forger, Framer, or Janitor. There won't be 2 Mafiosos at once, since this is a unique role). Neutral Evil (Executioner, Jester, or Witch). Neutral Killing (Arsonist, Serial Killer, or Werewolf). Since we've had no other kills, it's unlikely we have a Serial Killer. We'll just need to find out on Day 3 if someone got mauled to death (Werewolf) or not. If no one gets mauled to death that's a possibility of an Arsonist being about. I've only crossed out the Random Mafia because I'm old and confused (aka I'm not sure where to cross out the Town roles that have died), but since I know Newt was one of the two random Mafia members I could easily cross that one out. * Vampire Hunters are the least likely to be in this setup, since we have no Vampires (Vampires are Neutral (Chaos) and we don't have any of those in the setup). However, sometimes Vampire Hunters spawn in straight away. Vampire Hunters who have either killed all living Vampires or don't need to (since no Vampires spawn in) will turn into Vigilantes. We can't rule out the possibility of a Vigilante being in the setup yet since Vigilantes on ToS are not allowed to shoot on Night 1. I'd also advise that, if anyone is a Vigilante (obviously keep it to yourself), you take care on who you shoot. The ToS version of the Vigilante has 3 bullets, but they will shoot themselves if they kill an innocent person the night after. They can't be healed/roleblocked if that happens. As far as I'm aware, they won't shoot themselves if they kill neutral roles and I know they definitely won't shoot themselves if they kill mafia. Sheriff will be able to find all mafia members except for the Godfather, who can only die if he's sent to be lynched (I think the Arsonist/Werewolf can also kill him but I'm not sure). Mafioso will be promoted if the Godfather dies, so if the Sheriff ever finds a mafia member it's best to recheck them if we lynch the Godfather just to make sure. The Unique roles for town are Jailor (Town Killing), Mayor (Town Support), Retributionist (Town Support), and Veteran (Town Killing). Godfather and Mafioso are the Unique roles for Mafia. This means that only one of each Unique role, should they be in the setup, will be alive at any time. (This has already been briefly mentioned but I wanted to give a summary of everything I could think of to help everyone who isn't familiar with ToS or this kind of setup.) If you have any questions, I can answer them to the best of my ability. But I'm not going to do anything that will favour mafia or neutral roles hehe. Now then, we need some more activity. Let's see what happens if I vote someone to get them to speak. [vote] Bok.
  21. Newt was the mafia sided roleblocker (Consort), so he tried to roleblock me last night. There may or may not be an Escort in the setup (town-sided roleblocker), but no one can be really sure. Now, a common tactic for SKs (Serial Killer) to do in ToS is reveal that they are a Doctor. This would be another possibility for roles in the setup. However, Hyper would not be the SK because SKs will automatically kill the Jailor if they jail them (ToS only iirc). So it's very possible he is the Doctor. I don't think Hyper would know about this since I'm not sure he plays ToS, but when an Investigator visits a Doctor etc., the three roles that appear are "Doctor, Disguiser, or Serial Killer". It's also slightly possible that he is one of the other two roles (since, as mentioned before, the Jailor would die to the SK they jailed unless the Jailor executed him, which unfortunately they cannot do on the first night). Some trivia for you guys: The Serial Killer will automatically target Consorts or Escorts that visit them and attempt to roleblock them. Since we have 3 random townies and 2 random maf in the setup (Consort being one of them), we don't really know what we're dealing with. There won't be 2 Veterans in this setup, but there could be 2 Doctors...anything really. Here's the thing, though. Both Spy and Investigator are Town Investigative. That takes up the 2 guaranteed Town Investigative slots and one of the random townies. That leaves room for 2 more random town slots. That means Hyper could be honest with what he's claiming. Since I don't think he has much, if any, experience with ToS, I'm more inclined to think he's innocent. What do you guys think about this?
  22. Since the Werewolf role works by attacking people on even nights (full moons appear), we’ll know by D3 if there’s a Werewolf or an Arsonist in the setup (since the victims will be mauled to death — basically if WW visits me and 3 others visit me... I will be dead alongside the other 3 who visited me unless I alert). You can visit me and be fine if I’m not on alert. I have 3 alerts that I can use in the entire game. What I did on Day 1 was essentially lure people in to visit me, that’s a common tactic Veterans use on D1 in ToS. Unfortunately, it worked and we lost 2 (or 3, idr sry) townies but we also lost 1 mafia. I wouldn’t have claimed if no one suspected that it was me, but since Maf know I’m vet, because Newt would have probably stated in the mafia chat that he was visiting me, it was better to confirm now. By the way, I cannot be roleblocked. Have fun!
  23. Learn to keep off my lawn, ye’ whippersnappers! Hello, yes. I am the popular veteran. Veteran is still town 100%, so don’t lynch me pls!!! Also Veteran is the Town Killing role. There might be a Vigilante in the setup but I have no idea, sorry. Btw, if this is going by ToS itself... if we have an Arsonist, nobody will know they were doused unless they are also an Arsonist (impossible with this setup). We’ll basically know when the arsonist ignites if one exists or not. Nobody can be saved (except other Arsonists).
