CRIMSON RAIN? In a small alleyway, some inhuman squealing could be heard. There was no explanation for what was about to happen, but something big was happening, that was for sure. “Hey! Shall we take a looksee?” The familiar voice lulled you in, it was almost impossible to say no. Even though it was just a girl’s voice… it was enticing, in a way. She giggled. No matter how far you tried to follow the voice, it was just that… a voice. You couldn’t see the being it belonged to, but you had a feeling it was there, and it had been for a very long time now… You followed the mysterious girl’s voice. She lead you to an alleyway. Incoherent screaming and squealing could be heard. You zoom into where it’s coming from. It progressively gets louder the further you peek. You can’t quite make out what they look like, because there’s a (convenient) shadow overcasting them, but you can tell that one of them is attacking the other. Blood suddenly sprayed everywhere, and I mean everywhere. “Oh ho hoooo! This is getting interesting! Hehehe~ I wonder what this could beeeeee?” The voice grew distorted as the owner of it became more excited, after witnessing what just happened. She cleared her throat afterwards. “Ahem… yes, well.. Uh. Yeah.” Her voice faded after that. A shower of crimson followed, splattering blood and guts everywhere. A figure walked out and smirked, revealing his face slightly. As he walked out, like a badass I might add, the head of the victim rolled across the floor. He simply kicked it out of the way and carried on walking Seal has properly killed Amine! To make it fair for both factions, the answer is both yes and no. Today "may" be a LyLo situation depending on your decisions, as stated in the phase post. :]

In regards to the whole "Third Party Granny" theory/hypothesis/suggestion, that is a possibility. However, I find it very unlikely Mark would claim that just to get rid of a doctor. If people can prove the Doctor visited him and the Doc died, then it's likely he'd be on the chopping block. To be honest, Granny seems very unfitting for him in the first place. As for Amine's claim, that is a weird claim, but I suppose anything works in this. We'll probably find out in due time if he's telling the truth or not. I was expecting something cursed, but that apparently is not the case. Really not sure what to do for now. We're kind of at a standstill until Mark decides to exist again. I know I said self-votes were boring, but that only applies if multiple people do it. So, uh.... for a placeholder: [eliminate] Nicki.

I am not 100% on how role priority works in this game, but judging from what I know, it is very impossible for Mark to be both the Granny and wounded. Granny is usually at the top in terms of priority, which means Nick would have died before getting the chance to wound Mark (if he was Granny). I don’t think he’d ask for help if he was Granny, because that would be dumb. Both of him and in terms of his survival. It’s up to the Doctor (or whomever else can heal wounds I guess) to decide whether or not to believe him, as they’re taking a big risk imo. What does strike me odd is that nobody else, from what I’ve seen, has claimed to be wounded. Maybe Nick’s actions have failed, or he’s abstained.

DAY FIVE. The night was long. The moon was illuminating, casting shadows on nearby buildings. The street lamps barely worked anymore. There wasn’t anyone left who could operate them, let alone anyone who could fix them, anyway. The Survivors had to rely on their flashlights and any batteries they could find that worked properly. Their backpacks, consisting of food, water bottles, batteries, health kits, and pills, were beginning to look empty. They just had to hope that they’d be close to ammo piles and supply shops, getting closer with each step they took. Otherwise they’d be completely wiped out and done for. They discovered a door, which lead into a pharmacist. It didn’t have much left in there, but there were still some vital items the Survivors could use. They picked up the pills that were laying around. Ellis approached a box, which contained a few medkits. “I’ll be takin’ these health kits here.” He sighed a little, furrowing his eyebrows. “No ammo over here. Y’all find anything?” Nick shook his head. “Nothing here, sport. There probably isn’t anything else here that we can use.” He picked up some protein bars, tucking them away in his backpack. Their conversation was cut short as they heard banging on the door. “Shit, we forgot to barricade it!” Ellis packed the rest of his findings in the backpack and began to run to the exit in the back. They didn’t have much time, so they just booked it. The banging became more persistent. “Hehe, oh, I wonder; what’s going to happen next?!” That feminine voice came back. It sounded a bit more amused than before, even if it still sounded flat. After some time, the door broke down, and a few hordes of zombies ran in, infiltrating the pharmacy. The Survivors weren’t able to find much, but they gathered as much as they could. The building wasn’t empty by any means, but it wasn’t as full as it was before the Survivors found it. The Survivors ran out of the back door. “Shit! C-Close the door, dammit!!” Nick yelled, before putting all of his weight onto it. The door slammed shut, but it wouldn’t be long before it started pounding again. “Damn.. now that was close.” Ellis chuckled. “It’s not over yet.” They shifted their weight onto the door, but it was no use. They decided to just leg it once they felt ready, which was probably about 5 or 10 minutes after. They were still greeted by zombies, but they just used their weapons to cut through the crowd. They only had a small amount of ammo between them. They couldn’t afford to use it here. Hack. Slash. Hack. Slash. They made their way through a number of zombies. Unfortunately, their relentless hacking and slashing resorted in a few self-inflicted injuries and “friendly fire”. “Can you watch it?” “I’m sorry.” They exchanged a few grunts, apologies, and, more importantly, friendly banter. A number of bodies piled up on the ground. Most of them were unidentifiable due to being decapitated. There were also some discarded heads that had most likely rolled a few feet away from their bodies. It was hard to tell, but you could probably assume that’s what had happened. Arch has died! DAY FOUR - END. “Well now, this is… interesting.” An unknown, feminine voice booms from seemingly nowhere. It had a hint of excitement to its tone. “I wasn’t expecting this to happen at all, hehehe…~” Her voice was showered in uncertainty, but she still sounded excited. The Director had spawned in several more zombies, including some Hunters and Spitters, to try and deal with the Survivors. The Survivors had to attacking using some melee weapons like axes and police batons that they’d found lying around the streets. But they would only be effective for so long before they’d begin to dent and become blunt… The Survivors were almost at their wit’s end, but one of them remembered that they had a molotov. “Head’s up, guys!” A voice boomed, before the bottle was thrown into the crowd of undead. “What the f-- ow!” Unfortunately, it wasn’t properly aimed as it hit all of the Survivors, and some Infected as well. “Sorry…” “Yeah, well, you’d better be.” Fire engulfed the surrounding area, setting fire to some bushes and spreading rapidly. The flames seemed to dance in the wind. Most of them managed to get out unharmed, but some were injured. “Hehehe… Oh, this is fun.” The voice echoed once more. It was weird that nobody could hear it. Maybe they could. Maybe they were oblivious. I don’t know. She didn’t know either, she just spoke. Probably to no one, but she still spoke nonetheless. The flames eventually died out, and a bunch of bodies were left burned to a crisp. Almost literally. “My, my… that’s such a shame.” The voice sounded more twisted as time went on; more sadistic, but now maintaining a monotonous tone. Amongst the burned corpses was a very charred Jockey. His smile was still there, and his gaze was still piercing, almost as though he could still be alive. But I assure you, poking him with anything would confirm that he was, in fact, very dead. Bok has been lynched! He was the Jockey. It is now Night 4. You have around 24 hours to send in your Night Actions. I will end the phase approx. 30 minutes early, from now on, to give me enough time to write the next phase posts. I agree with Lía, to be honest. I can’t remember saying to No Lynch until Day 4, but I remember saying we could use it if we had no other alternative. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, though. Since I kinda have to vote, I’ll stick one somewhere random since I’m not sure if we all agreed on the ties thing. We should decide that on a day-to-day basis rather than decide to do it now. The situation can change after all. [eliminate] Candy. If you want to know why I haven’t yet voted for Amine despite finding him sus, then it’s because I’ve been waiting for him to elaborate. It could also be possible that he’s been left alive to draw suspicion to him after all.

When you give a gun to someone in hopes of it backfiring on them but your plan backfires on you instead. Poor Nano.

If we're struggling for leads, we can force a tie in lynch because, according to the rules, no one will get lynched. I would advise against this for future day phases, but I don't think it's a bad idea for early day phases. I would like to know what alignment those three were, too. Best case scenario is that only one of them was town and the other two were mafia or third party. This game is a bit hard considering our roles can be of any alignment, so forming random bandwagons, or randovoting, will not help us whatsoever. Especially since the alignment does not get revealed upon death. I'm a bit suspicious of Amine right now, if I'm honest. I didn't like his seemingly out-of-the-blue claim. There was no need for him to reveal that. I won't go over and over the same thing, but I'm not sure if I can trust him.

DAY FOUR. After resting up at the nearest safe room, the Survivors left and headed north. The bright sun illuminated the path, casting shadows on the nearby buildings and trees. There were some stray zombies straggling about on the street. Various shadows from the zombies danced around the floor as they moved. “If this was any normal situation, I think I could admire this.” Ellis sighed. “Is now the best time, Ellis?” Zoey immediately slapped Nick across the face. “Just because you’re unhappy with the events, it doesn’t mean Ellis has to be as well. Let him enjoy it in his own way.” She frowns as she walks past Nick. “There’s nothing stopping you from admiring it, even if it’s different to the norm.” She puts a hand on Ellis’ shoulder and smiles. He offers a smile in return. “Yeah, I suppose you’re right.” A horde approached the group. They were running out of ammo, but they had found a pipe bomb inside the safe room. It wasn’t really safe to use, but if they wanted to preserve ammo then they didn’t have much of a choice. The pipe was activated, and it started beeping and flashing red. It was thrown a small distance away, instantly luring the zombies to it. Beep… beep… beep. This gave the Survivors the opportunity to slip away without drawing much attention to themselves. The pipe grew louder and flashed vigorously after each passing second. Quite a few zombies were drawn to it as its rhythmic beeping increased in intensity. Beep… beep… beep… From somewhere far away, inaudible to the players, a short but sadistic giggle could be heard. “Everything is coming together nicely… hehehe~” Everyone would find out the source of the mysterious ticking giggling soon enough. Especially those who had died. Bang! The pipe bomb exploded, sending various body parts of the infected flying across the vicinity. A shower of crimson cascaded in the same place. The area was messy, but one particular head was very identifiable. There was no mistaking it… Fali has properly died! He was a Common Infected. It is now Day 4. DAY THREE - END. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap, tap, tap. Taptaptaptaptaptaptaptaptap… The tapping got more persistent. It was a sound that grew louder after each tap. Tap… tap...tap… It didn’t sound like it was stopping anytime soon, at least. The players didn’t even know that it was occurring, and it didn’t sound threatening by any means. It was just... background noise. It occasionally shifted its rhythm, and would pause for a couple of seconds, but then it’d revert back to its first pattern. Nobody was aware of this. Nobody except The Director. The only thing the players could actually hear was the sound of guns. They also heard moans and groans from the infected, but that was getting drowned out by the gunshots. Those gunshots were also eliminating the sources of the other noises, so I suppose it wasn’t that bad. It was still super loud, but everyone had gotten used to the sound of guns and zombies by this point. The apocalypse had been going on for some weeks now. Tap, tap, tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap… The zombies were starting to run away from something. They rapidly approached the Survivors, trying to escape whatever it was that had caught their attention. They weren’t exactly running towards the Survivors to attack them, no, no. Nick looked around and noticed something huge. “Oh shit. We might want to move. Now!” He pushed his way through the horde. BOOM! In the next breath, something jumped head-first from a nearby roof. I think it was trying to attack the Survivors, but they moved out of the way just in time. It exploded on impact, causing the ground beneath it to shake as its guts and bile ricocheted off the ground and nearby buildings. Some of the zombies immediately ran towards the source, probably thinking that they’d won the lottery or something. Two legs were left twitching on the ground. It was a nice meal for the zombies. The Survivors were lucky that none of that crap splashed onto them. Nick, in particular, was happy that his $3,000 white suit was still white… Ellis smirked. “Okay, Boomer. You had one job. One job. You couldn’t even accomplish that!” He snickered to himself with his goofy laugh. “Oh, ho ho. Wait until I tell my buddy, Keith, about this!” Nick just sneered. “You won’t be telling him anything unless we get a move on.” Zoey just shot Nick daggers with her eyes. “Way to be optimistic, old man.” Boat has been lynched! There’s a lot of roles related to being cursed, to be honest. I’d like to think that we could roughly guess each other based on how well we know each other, but to be honest the role I got was very different to what I was expecting, lmao.
