(Pokemon Rejuvenation) can't find Venam after 3rd gym

I've searched everywhere in the sewers already. I even went back to the mansion still no way to move forward in the game. -
I had one pokemon after the 3rd gym. It fainted when I encountered a wild Swoobat and I was sent to the lab (the last place I healed) now I can't find Venam for the acid and cannot progress in the game please help!
