Okay, I'm going in.
-
The Froakie has protean and my OT is Lucina.
-
I can give you the froakie and rowlett.

If you want to go with Slowbro, then I would recommend it. Slowbro is a good and versatile pokemon. And it synergizes with poliwrath and your sweepers. If you wish to swap out Swanna for another pokemon that has utility, why not try pelipper? Pelipper can pretty everything that swanna can do, but better. Having access to drizzle, protect for scouting, knock off, hurricane (which is 100% accurate in the rain), defog, tailwind, mist (which will allow to change the field into a misty terrain field), etc. Still recommend gyardos, it's really good. If you are not interested in using a greninja, why not try mega sharpedo? You can find the mega stone for sharpedo in the northern part of route 1. The inclusion of mega sharpedo will give you a dark/psychic/fighting core. Which will come in the handy in some of the future battles. It gives type coverage in support of poliwrath and slowbro, and slowbro and poliwrath can support mega sharpedo. And, mega sharpedo has access to some decent moves like aqua jet (highly recommend having one pokemon on your team that can use priority), ice fang (which will have a base stat of 98 via strong jaw), destiny bond (via breeding), psychic fangs (via breeding), zen headbutt (via move tutor), and super fang (via move tutor).

If your goal is to do a mono water team, here are a couple suggestions: 1) Get a a bulky water type. Fortunately, there are four good ones available at this point in the game. There's rotom wash, with access to levitate, electric moves, and can use status moves via thunderwave and will-o-wisp. You can find a rotom in the back of shade's gym. Toxapex is a great tank with good bulk stats, access to toxic spikes, and regenerator ability. If you're not into EV or IV training, then that extra layer or two of toxic spikes can really come in handy. Access to poison moves like sludge wave gives it type coverage against grass types. A third good tank would be miltotic. Access to marvel scale boosts milotic already high defenses. And in many of future battles to come, marvel scale will be activated in certain fields. And finally, the fourth option would be slowbro due to it's stats, regenerator ability, and having a crazy movepool (like flamethrower, dual screens, grass knot, drain punch, status moves, etc.). 2) If your swampert and poliwrath do not have ice punch, then give them ice punch. Depending on it's moveset, your Poliwrath can also benefit from learning poison jab since it will have a counter move for both grass types and fairy types. 3) Switch out your swanna for gyarados. Gyardos has better abilities, stats, and movesets. You can get a magikarp in this episode by finishing the Corrin-Rouge quest. 4) Depending on your luck and patience, people have been known to wonder trade froakies. Protean greninja would be a great asset to your team. A fairy type would be beneficial for the upcoming boss fights. Two good water/fairy types available in this game would be primarina and azumarill. If you want to run a water/dragon, then swift swim kingdra will be a great asset for your team.

Easiest one for me was Amaria. After changing the terrain to the grass terrain, I sent out Serperior, and then watched everything die as I spammed field boosted leaf storms. Lost no pokemon during that battle.
-
Ok, my OT is Lucina and I am ready whenever you are.
-
Here's the four that I would recommend. - Protean greninja is just too good, so defineately add that froakie into the roster. Amazing versatility that can cover many of the type weaknesses on whatever team that you build. Make sure that you equip it with the extra belt that you get from the guy under the orange awning by the train gate that leads to the desert. - Infernape. Why add aniInfernape when you have a blaziken? That's because of infernape has mach punch, a useful priority move (which your team does not have a lot of mons that you can priority moves). And its boosted by infernape's hidden ability, iron fist. - Mereanie with toxic spkes can be great for setting up hazards. I recommend that whenever you build a team, try to have at least one tank. A role that toxapex excels at with it's stats, regenerator, and stalling moves like baneful bunker (which also makes it good for scouting). - There are three starters that you can only get from the start of the game. Torchic, froakie, and snivy. And there is a good reason why snivy is one of those three. Contrary with leaf storm is a deadly combo that allows serperior to fire off a powerful grass move that also boosts it's special attack by two stages. Making serperior a deadly sweeper after one or two leaf storms.

If you want, I can trade you a jangmo-o.

What foods do you like that are unusual
T.O.W.A.N. replied to Abyssreaper99's topic in General Discussion
While not the most unusual food item, I really like calamari. It doesn't really have any foul flavors, but alot of people are put off by the texture and the fact that they are eating squid. -
Hello, looking for a bagon and a jangmo-o, preferably with 5-31 ivs. In exchange, I can offer any of the following pokemon with five, 31 ivs. Heracross Cottonee Snivy Snorlax with curse Marill with belly drum and aqua jet Topegi with nasty plot Mimikyu with destiny bond Beldum Riolu with bullet punch and crunch Honedge Torchic Chimchar Alolan Vulpix with moonblast Timburr Ghastly Deino with dragon pulse, dark pulse, and earth power Solosis Ralts Larvesta Skarmory with whirlwind and brave bird Larvitar with dragon dance and pursuit
-
I got a lvl 42 slowpoke, calm nature, with an iv spread of 31/31/31/31/0/31, and it has curse and yawn. Would that be good enough? Edit: I just hatched a shiny female slowpoke, calm nature, iv spread of 31/31/31/31/31/19, and it has curse and yawn. Would you like that instead?
-
You got a pretty good team there. As Whitelight said, find an "ace", a pokemon that has been a continous lifesaver throughtout your playthrought, and then build a team to cover up its strengths and weaknesses. Another idea would be to use team cores. Two of the most common cores are fire/water/grass core and the dragon/steel/fairy core. Your Lucario, Salamence, and Gardevoir would be a good example of a dragon/steel/fairy core. If you want add aegislash to your team, you should defineately do so since it would make a great tank. Also, how did you get Salamence and Kommo-O?

You got some serious power. Gyarados, swoobat, and gliscor can potentially sweep her. Bring those three, along with archeops as your revenge killer, jumpluff for it's status moves and to act as a suicide lead, and noivern since dragon can resist poison and super fang is situationally useful. You could try leading off with gyarados and jumpluff. On turn one, have the jumpluff put the nidoqueen to sleep with sleep powder, then have gyarados set up a dragon dance or two. Proceed to steam roll with moxie. Between nidoqueen and toxapex, take down the nidoqueen first. When jumpluff goes down, switch out to gliscor and set up a swords dance or two. Proceed to have your gliscor spam earthquake while gyarados picks off any of the survivors. If gliscor is on the field, and Aya has her drapion or dragalge on the field too, make sure to have your mons gang up on them since her drapion and dragalge both have water moves. BTW, are you doing a mono-flying run?

Gonna call it, - When we get to Agate, we're going to meet Zero there. In an effort to try to bring back Eve and Lumi, Zero uses the PULSE machine on himself. Turning him into something that came out of David Cronenberg's nightmares. - Hardy and Saphira's teams are going to be OP. Now is the time to prepare. - We're going to have one final battle against Fern in Labradorra city. When we beat him, he has the most epic emotional breakdown after constantly losing to someone that he deems inferior. - In E19, theres going to be an Infinity War reference during the final battle against mega/primal/pulse/ultra-instinct Arceus.
-
Since you liked Angel Beats, and want to watch something emotional, check out Clannad and Clannad After Story, Kanon 2006, Air, Ano Hana, Your Lie in April, a Silent Voice, and most of Makoto Shinkai's movies (5cm Per Second and Your Name). If you want something similar to Tokyo Ghoul, I recommend checking out Parasyte the Maxim and Devilman Crybaby. Just like Tokyo Ghoul, both have a darker tone and carry similar themes. If you haven't read the manga of Tokyo Ghoul, check it out. It's much better than the anime version.

Smh, Amaria was easy. Here's what I did: 1) Lead off with a florges holding an amplifield rock. Florges used grassy terrain. 2) Switch into serperior. 3) Spam leaf storm. 4) Win Didn't even lose a single pokemon.
-
Let's not forget about trying to get the good items in that place. It won't be a surprise that the earthquake tm will be there. But you will have to go through a sidequest, which will trigger another sidequest, do some crazy puzzles, and then fight a legendary pokemon with field boosted moves. And all the trainers in there will have OP pokemon with competitive items, competitive movesets, and will use potions, revives, seeds, and X-items. And that's just the youngsters.
-
Got my strategy and team for her. 1) Tangrowth, to act as a my physical wall/mixed attacker. 2) Florges, my special wall. And to deal with her kingdra. 3) Serperior will act as my special sweeper. 4) Galvantula will help with speed support. 5) A strong, bulky electric type like rotom-w. 6) A strong fighting type like gallade or lucario (or something that knows fighting moves) to act as my physical attacker. Strategy: I'll lead off with either my tangrowth or florges, depending on whether she leads off with a physical or special attacker. On turn one, they'll use grassy terrain. Both will be given amplifield rocks to give me more turns. Next, I'll try to switch out to galvantula. Interestingly enough, while spikes and toxic spikes do not work in the water field, sticky webs does work. I used a sticky webs leavanny against Valerie in rejuvenation and it worked quite well. I'll then try to sweep her team by spamming leaf storm with my contrary serperior that will get amplified in the grassy terrain. Rotom will be used as my primary electric attacker. It's bulky and levitate should make it exempt from the speed drop on the water field. Finally, a strong fighting type with swords dance like gallade or lucario, or something that knows fighting type moves like aegislash, will act as my physical attacker. I'll probably lean more towards lucario or aegislash since both learn priority moves to act as revenge killers. And they both have strong fighting moves to deal with her lapras. Overall, I think she'll be easier than Valerie from Pokemon Rejuveantion since we have a wider variety of pokemon to use against her.

If you need a fire stone, why not pick up the mining kit, going up to a random glowing rock, and then soft reset until you get a fire stone?
-
Get a crobat. Press acrobatics. Watch everything die.
-
So I guess that would be a no on Arceus-Fighting?
-
Yo, if you're interested, I can offer you a hawlucha, a heracross with rock blast, a technician breloom with bullet seed, a chimchar/monferno/infernape, a timburr, and a gallade.
-
Interesting. There was one guy who did a mono fighting run on hardcore mode. He mentioned that toxicroak was the GOAT. Anyways, good luck on your mono run. Though this mono run might be tough. Perhaps some more fighting types might be useful? Especially when the time comes when you must fight Shelly and Corey. If you're interested, I can offer you some good fighting types.

Recommended Pokes (Just beat Normal Gym Noel)
T.O.W.A.N. replied to thetom21's topic in Team Showcase
You should get a water type. Clawitzer is a good one. Mega launcher dark pulse and aura sphere will do a good number against Radomus and Luna. You can find clauncher by fishing for it in amertrine mountain. There 's an entrance for it on the northern part of route 1. In that same room, you should also be able to find the life orb.
