Hello there guys, I have asked a while ago for help with my team, worked really well, my team is extremely strong (imo) now, but I started to feel really sad with Gengar. People always said that it would be a great sweeper but it didn't worked well for me, maybe it were it's EV training, I don't know. Thing is, I'm looking to replace it. For my team, I'll need another Ghost or a Dark pokemon. Here are they (after beating Amaria) and some candidates I thought: Adamant Blaziken @ Wide Lens Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Moves - Bulk up - Sky Uppercut - Blaze Kick - Brave Bird Timid Greninja @ Wave Incense Ability: Protean EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Moves - Scald - Surf - Dark Pulse - Extrasensory Timid Roserade @ Miracle Seed Ability: Technician EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Moves - Toxic Spikes - Extrasensory - Magical Leaf - Dazzling Gleam Jolly Crobat @ None Ability: Infiltrator EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Moves - Confuse Ray - Acrobatics - Cross Poison - Leech Life Jolly Excadrill @ Wide Lens Ability: Mold Breaker EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Moves - Swords Dance - Iron Head - Earthquake - Rock Slide Timid Gengar @ Spell Tag Ability: Cursed Body EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Moves - Shadow Ball - Dark Pulse - Dazzling Gleam - Destiny Bond The role of gengar on my team is to take out Ghost and Psychic enemies. The problem is that it normally don't OHKO any enemy and gets wrecked the next turn so I always end using Destiny Bond before anything else. That's why the replacement should be Ghost or Dark. The options I thought are: - Weavile - Pangoro - Zoroark - Mismagius My team is composed with 3 Physical attackers and 3 Special attackers. Weavile is the best option imo, but I would break that balance. I already have those 4 mons bred and trained. What do you guys think?

You are using almost the same thing I used in my team, and I could beat until everything before Amaria without exchanges. I'll try to build your team with what you have plus giving coverage to all types, just like I built mine Blaziko+ Speed Boost is extremely strong, I used exactly the moveset you are using, worked well for me. Types covered: Bug, Grass, Ice, Steel, Dark, Normal, Rock Exa would only benefit of Sand Rush in a Sandstorm team, you would need two turns to set it up (sandstorm + SD) and it's defenses are not so good so I would go with Mold Breaker and Iron Head in place of Sandstorm (as suggested). Types covered: Electric, Fire, Poison, Flying, Fairy. Techinician Rosy is the best! I can assure you. If you are going to breed, mind Extrasensory and maybe HP [Fire]. Types Covered: Water, Ground. For Umbreon, it's really defensive, not my type of pokemon, so I can't tell much. I usually see people using it as a support for the team. If Umbreon is used as attacker it would cover Ghost and Psychic. We still have to deal with Dragon and FIght For the last two slots I'd suggest: Ampharos. Good movepool strong and Bulky. A good moveset would be: Electric Terrain or Rock Gem, Signal Beam or Thunder Wave, Discharge and Dragon Pulse. Types Covered: Dragon. For the last Slot I would suggest a Flying Pokemon. Let's assume your Umbreon will not attack at all, so we would still need to deal with Ghost and Psychic (again, I don't know how to use Umbreon in a team), so for that reason, I suggest Honchkrow, it's type cover everything left + Moxie Ability, makes it great. It's a little restrict in moves but for your team it would be good. Moveset: Brave Bird or Drill Peck, Night Slash, Roost and TailWind. If you need, I can help you with breedings. Also I have some Murkrows with Drill Peck and Roost as Egg moves, not good IVs though. Hope it helped

If I remember right, on your other post I pointed Meowstic to help you against Shelly.. It'll be of good utility again. It learns Shadow Ball at lvl 31, which can be useful against Gengar (she used to have one, don't remember after E17) plus psychic at lvl 40, I think this lvl is the cap here so against Poison it would be one of the best bets.. The problem here is Drapion, which can also be handled with Meowstic + some rare and common candies because it learns Signal Beam (bug type) at lvl 45. Seriously, Female Meowstic is one of the best mons in Reborn, it learns a handful of moves and is quite fast. Also you may add Medicham and Mismagius to your team, they have psychic moves and can be useful. Misdreavus is a bit hard to get at this point but it's not impossible, the problem is that I'm not sure if you are able to get a Dusk Stone and evolve it by now. Hope it helped! @Wolfox Do you think? My team should always had to have one pokemon from Fire, one from Water, one from Grass, one from Electric and one Flying. This changed a little here in reborn lol
