You have Blaziken and Greninja, the two best starters on Reborn. Aegislash also OP in Reborn, plus pseudolegendary Garchomp. Also A-Ninetales and Venusaur are GREAT mons. I still can't see changes you need for them. Maybe Ice Beam instead of Water Shuriken for Greninja (when TM is available), Thunder Punch instead of Brave Bird for Blaziken or Earthquake when TM is available, Ingrain instead of Leech Seed for Venusaur (breed needed). If you want one more setter, maybe use a Physical set on Aegislash + Swords Dance. However Aegislash would be the only pokemon I'd change. It has incredible good stats and nice design but it lacks in speed in my opinion, so I would change it for a Bug or another Ghost pokemon because aside of Aegislash, Dark Pulse Greninja is the only thing against Psychic mons and since I'd change it, these two types can make give you the same advantages + speed. My suggestions are: Durant, nice attack, moveset by level up, speed and you won't lose Steel typing. Scizor does pretty much the same with better stats, lacking only in Speed which can be compensated by Bullet Punch. Scyther and Heracross are good too, but I don't think they would do much on the team. If you prefer to continue with a Ghost, Gengar is always a option, but in Reborn it would lack in moveset as all of its good moves would come through TM (Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Psychic) that you find only late game (or don't even find, as far as I know) so I would use Mismagius, good moveset through lvl up and has use to the same TMs as Gengar on late game. Mimikyu seems a good option too, but I never tested it so I can't tell for sure. Venusaur is a great mon, but Roserade is my favorite Grass mon and would have pretty much the same role as they share the same typing and almost the same moveset. You'd need heavy breeding to get Roserade to be outstanding (Extrasensory and Hidden Power) but it's worth the work. Anyway, your team is pretty solid, mind maybe IV breeding, you only showed Blaziken IVs, so I don't know if they are 5 IVs. If you want, I can breed them for you any of the mons I suggested

Hi, I can breed every one you want. I have right now Torchic and Growlithe with 5 IVs, proper nature and good ability, Growlithe also comes with Crunch as egg move. Riolu would have Blaze Kick, Bullet Punch, Crunch and High Jump Kick as egg moves (I can make it with a Special Set but would take longer). Dratini would have Dragon Dance. I can't breed them right now because I'm not on my pc, I'll be there in a few hours though. If you just want them, it will be fast but I can make all of them 5 IV if you like. Also, let me ask: Why Torchic, Growlithe and Riolu on the same team? I mean, they share same typing, so share same weaknesses. For example you could take Growlithe and Riolu out and put another pokemon for steel (Aggron, Excadrill, A-Sandslash) and still have one position for another mon. Or switch Torchic/Growlithe with another one just so you make your team more round against many foes. Just saying, it's your team, no problem for me providing mons. xD

I see, but 40 BP is not my like. It's good tho, don't get me wrong. HAHA Imagine now a female well busted Blaziken just kidding Makes sense that moveset too, I just made what I'd use. Torterra would work well on this team, although its speed is not for my taste too. And Venusaur, well, the first trio is unforgettable and Venusaur also gives an option for Mega too xD

A good combination indeed and I thought of that when writing. My problem with Sucker Punch is that, even with AI, it will not always use a attacking move. Amaria'ss Rotom for example almost always set Reflect and Light Screen first, her Ludicolo also uses Rain Dance (if I remember right). So with only 5 PP (8 with pp-up) and the unreliability of the move, I prefer Night Slash + Moxie xD.

RIght, let me try to help. I'll use movesets to your 4 mons that I would use and will try to build around them looking for cover all type weaknesses, note that moves in this font are useful, but I'd use the first ones: Lucario - Swords Dance - Blaze Kick - High Jump Kick / Close Combat - Thunder Punch / Poison Jab / Crunch / Earthquake (when TM is available) Lucario is the most useful of the 4 you lke, you have too many options, you could also go for a Special attack one with moves: Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Psychic (would not need because of Gardevoir), Shadow Ball (would not need because of Honchkrow), Flash Cannon and Dark Pulse. The boost from Swords Dance make the physical set more enjoyable for me though. Gardevoir - Calm Mind - Psychic - Moonblast - Draining Kiss / Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball / Energy Ball Gardevoir has a nice design but, at least in Reborn, in my opinion, it lacks a bit in usefulness because we don't have access to the good TMs so I don't know why everybody seems to use it. Aegislash - Kings Shield - Sacred Sword - Swords Dance - Iron Head / Aerial Ace / Shadow Sneak Another nice design but lacks in good moves. Since Lucario doesn't use the Special set, I'd give Iron Head. Honchkrow - Roost - Night Slash - Drill Peck - Facade / Brave Bird / Thunder Wave This is one of the mons that I never understand, it learns Nasty Plot and Calm Mind but doesn't use Special moves even though it doesn't learn Swords Dance or Bulk Up. I'd go with Facade just for more variety, Brave Bird for more damage but Thunder Wave would be the best move since Drill Peck is strong enough. Right, with these moveset we're still lacking against: Fire, Electric, Ground, Water and Flying. So I think we would need a Ground mon, to cover Fire and Electric and a Grass mon to cover Ground and Water and something else for Flying. My suggestions are: Grass: - Venusaur: Hidden Power [Fire] for coverage, Ingrain to help a bit, Giga Drain for the cover we need and Sludge Bomb (when TM is available) to complete the set; - Torterra: Earthquake for electric and fire, Wood Hammer for Water and Ground, Crunch for more coverage and any move you like; < If you pick this, use Ampharos or other Electric/Ice. Ground - Mamoswine: Earthquake through lvl up, Stealth Rock to help stalling your adversaries and Ice moves to use against Flying. Something else: If you chose Torterra, Any Electric/Ice would do the trick, like Mamoswine above. You can also try Weavile, A-Tales, A-Raichu (all wasted here, considering the rest of the team). Another good Electric would be Electivire (Fire punch, Ice punch, Thunder punch, Hell yeah all the punches). My team would be: Lucario, Gardevoir, Aegislash, Honchkrow (can't run right?), Venusaur and Mamoswine. Hope I helped xD Good luck

I can't say I felt a bit salty while reading, but even if you are not going to read/answer anymore, let's put up some arguments. Perhaps you missed the point of pokemon Reborn. The game was intentionally made to be more challenging than official games and I think that's one of the reasons it has so many players, me included. Oh, can't beat Giovanni? Just lvl my mons more 10 levels and go for it. Too easy. Indeed you are supposed to beat them, however, if the second gym had pokemons lvl 70, the player could just grind until 75 and bang, game over. Grinding is not that easy on Reborn. I invite you to lvl up your mons to lvl 45 and try to add a new member without using Exp. Share You talk about 'progression' if you mean lvl progression, then yes, you'll be frustated, but the progression you seek on Reborn is story related and the reward is even higher than a couple of lvls, in terms of enjoyment. You also talk about 'skill', to win Reborn, you'll have to learn from mons you would never use on official games, it's moves, stats, abilities and also has to learn about the fields over the game, then you can use all the knowledge gathered against the adversary, there comes your skill. But if you still think this system is an heresy against Pokemon standarts, I'm sure you can find some mods to ease your game on the mod market (I'll link it bellow since you seems to be new here), breeding good mons (which you aren't able at this point of the game, nor late I suppose taking in account your dislike for studying the game) or you can try asking for good stats mons for trade on the forum or try Wonder Trade on you Pokégear, I'm sure Pokédollar won't be a problem, this last option should be done after the maintenance that have just been announced though. Good luck . - ah, I just read it again and I'm 100% sure it says all over the beginning of the game that ALL mons (not just trade ones) won't listen if the player let it reach a certain lvl without the proper badge.
