I agree with you 100%. Something I would like to add is that both Nicki and Venus have done little to help and Nicki made an attempt to prevent Venus getting lynch. This could be nothing but it seems kinda like a passive mafia protection. Also as of yet @Seal has said nothing. Maybe they haven't seen the thread yet but if not they know now. Also guys we all need to contribute our ideas of players to try to make sure we don't mislynch. Lynching is one of the towns most powerful tools for finding mafia, but we all need to contribute. Right now no one is contributing very much making them hard to read but I have a slight town-lean on Alaris (he has contributed more then most players) and Lord Drakyle (appears to me to be making an honest attempt at finding mafia). I would appreciate other players thoughts though.

@Lord Drakyle If you thought I didn't read your post why waste the energy making such a long one? I know your vote was temporary but I never really understood your reasoning for placing it. I mean I guess I get it, but trying to force Bean to change the way he plays by voting him has been tried before and failed. Normally he continues acting strange making it easier to lynch him so while the vote was temporary I don't think that in anyway makes it not a plausible mafia strategy to get an easy lynch while seeming town. I learned only to late the importance of analyzing what a player has said and trying to determine their alignment which is all I am trying to do. Your violent reactions seem to be a mafia trying to hard to seem like a townie, but as I said idk you and I asked someone who is better at this then I to review my thought process. While the info you get from Corso, Candy, and yourself isn't to much it tells us (and the mafia) that you and Candy (if you aren't mafia) are town visiting roles some of the more dangerous for mafia. I have my own opinion about what happened to you guys but I will be silent for now for fear of endangering someone.

@Lord Drakyle Your swift and violent reaction to a single vote seems... odd to me. The fact that you went out of your way to defend yourself against a vote with no standing is suspicious in my eyes. Plus the fact that you placed and removed a vote on Bean for no very good reason makes me wonder if perhaps you were trying to start an easy bw, for as we all know, bean is often lynched. I think you are a possible maf trying to gain info about town. For all we know he lied about about his action failing. I would appreciate your thoughts on this @NickCrash as I have no background on his normal behavior. Also idk if it is such a great idea to just reveal things like who you visited as this will probably make you targets for mafia.

@Paul25 Wow thanks! I had expected the phase to end with my death by mondo. You wouldn't need to vote me it is okay either way, but well, I can't say I don't appreciate it.

@Eviora I honestly can't say I expected you to say anything different. Plus the main flaw is we don't know what Nicki is till tomorrow if we don't lynch her today.

I agree with this 100%. Two thoughts though real quick. If we let Nicki live and she isn't the Mondo, then Mondo has no reason not to kill her. If she is indeed mondo then we can keep a townie and have a vigilante to shoot people (if she lives), or at least take a bullet for one of the other townies. I think perhaps the wisest idea would be to let her live for tonight. Thoughts guys?

@Mazino Divergent I appreciate that you don't mind me getting lynched. Please keep in mind this was not what I had originally planned on doing but like I said earlier I miss-understood what Nick said. I don't know Nick so what was an obvious joke to you I miss-understood. Also I will most certainly NOT play jester the same way in the future. For what it is worth I agree with your reads on Venus, Nick, and Hypurr, but I wouldn't count Eviora out yet. The way she waited to vote without telling us who she suspected and voting later when Nicki was gonna die no matter what isn't to suspicious by itself, but I think maybe she asked about the vote tying in the hope that it resulted in a no lynch. Also the mafia will try to elect one of their own and Eviora had more votes for a while and tried pretty hard to mayor. Also during that phase Nicki suggested that she thought Eviora could be town. Could be circumstantial but idk. Also I didn't mean to make a poor jester play. It was an honest attempt to help town and to achieve what we both wanted, but clearly I need to look before I leap. @Paul25 That is okay I don't necessarily expect to win this time. The way I helped was that Nicki was in part revealed due to her responses to my claim (while she may have still been revealed this is what happened) and giving the role of myself reducing the numbers of players necessary to judge between. You don't have to vote me but if you do continue to vote me the votes will tie and Nicki and I will both be lynched.

@LykosHand Ah good, I was afraid of coming off to strong but you have reassured me. I understand what you are saying but I wonder if I couldn't stay alive, help hang maf, and maybe get hung near then the end, but I guess that's not exactly for me to decide

Anyway I am cool, sorry if I come off as aggressive or anything I don't mean to aim what I say personally at anyone, and I won't hold it against anyone if I lose. Sorry if I have offended or said something unkind in my frustration I of course did not mean it I am just trying to play to game to the best of my abilities, and I know everyone else is too. Please don't hold things I might say in this game (a game based around manipulation) against me personally. If you hate jester me I could live with that.

Sorry I must have misunderstood what you meant. But even if you were offering to lynch the jester, why would that be such a bad thing? Why is it that only jester who play a specific way "deserve" to win. I helped you guys and you decided to kill me. But you won't let me win either no I have to lose. Why? Why must I get shot? I have shone my willingness and ability to help the town. I don't see why it so important that I lose. The people who stand to benefit most from my death are the mafia. Don't do their job for them.

@LykosHand Dang you read that fast . I can't really blame you for your current choice of action but it is sad that third party can't try to help town without being killed. By town no less!!! Also it seems strange to me that everyone is insisting that the vigilante shoot me. Why do I need to die by bullet so bad? Can't we just wait and maybe hang me later? I could save the town for all you know. It seems to me the mafia would suggest shooting me so that 1. I can't help town and 2. the vigilante doesn't end up shooting them. Food for thought. Also for everyone who says this is not what jester do so I shouldn't win please direct your chagrin to NickCrash who suggested hanging the jester in the first place. And really what makes what I did not a valid strategy? Why is everyone allergic to my help?

@LykosHand Yeah sorry about all that, it is hard to read it all . @Walpurgis Imo the purpose of the jester is to spice things up which I believe I have done equitably. I see no reason why the jester can't try to help town and still be hung. Why wouldn't this be a valid strategy? smh @Corso @andracass @Caimie @Hypurr @Eviora I urge those of you who haven't voted to read the posts and decide who you think it would be best to vote. I understand why some people do not want to vote me and I won't blame you for not voting me as well but I see no reason why a jester can't help town and win. Instead of trying to trick you guys and probably causing the death of an innocent, I gave you info and helped you hunt for mafia. Isn't that better?

Seeing as Nicki probably is mafia I don't blame you anyone for voting her but I would like to ask to not get shot tonight. After all instead of trying to confound the town and possibly causing an innocent to get killed I caused a possible mafia member to be found out. I would like to request votes on me instead and have the vig shoot her or at least wait to shoot me. I don't see the harm in either of these options. You are men ahead either way. @Venus I know and perhaps they are innocent but they both decided to join you. They are also the only two to join you but perhaps the other mafia are busy atm. Also they have brought enough evidence against her it would be hard to suspect others who vote her even if she is town. @andracass I see what you mean. The accusations so far are not just random though. Nicki is suspected because she is acting in a way that is not like her normal style. However in her defense not a lot of people have defended her. Perhaps if she is mafia instead of outright defending her, the other mafia are trying to move suspicion (aka Jace accusing Dive). Once again though you would think if he was mafia he would have voted me trying to get the heat off his team member.

@andracass Not sure why this matters but Jace said he was role-blocked. I guess the othe rthing to consider guys is that maybe (not saying this is the case just spit-balling) Nick and Dive are both mafia. This would of course by a dangerous combo. They have been working together well and perhaps this was their plan to kill the jester via vig and convince everyone with their combined persuasive arguments to kill Nicki or whoever seemed the most suspicious today. idk just an idea

@Mazino Divergent idk I get you want the vigilante to kill me but couldn't you vote me and ask the vig to kill Nicki instead? It seems a little harsh that you want me to lose even though I gave you honest info about myself and possibly revealed a mafia. I understand you prefer to use social deduction and strategy but what I did was still a valid strategy. The mayor was offering to kill the jester and instead of risking death during one of these nights I took him up on it. While it is simple it is still strategy. I had other plans but this seemed the best at the time. Also I know you are good at manipulation and deduction but I wonder why you haven't called on Lykos and Corso yet? Is that an oversight or do you just not care. In the vein of social deduction I have little to add at this point but I do wish to help before I die. You suspect Paul (slightly) but personally I think he is just not always great at conveying his ideas. Nicki does seem to be acting strange so not much to add there. I think Jace might be mafia (possibly idk) trying to blend in by accusing you since you obviously weren't defending me. I figure he probably skimmed the posts not caring to much (as a mafia might do) and hooked on something he thought might be suspicious. Eviora seems strangely aggressive and yet hasn't voted. Just odd imo. There hope I helped @NickCrash Ordinarily I would have played jester as you suggested but since you appeared to be offering to hang jester I thought I could both get hung and help town by outing myself. Perhaps I was wrong but seems we do now have a good suspect so it seems to have worked.
