  1. The air had already been awkward, what with Kane still looking uncertain and relatively unaffected despite Mim's harsh glance with Arthur being a contrast in looking away as a result of the glare. Lucy, on the other hand, looked comforted for a moment, taking a moment to take a deep breath. And yet— it was hard for her to not notice the tall figure, those long golden locks and armor, meeting eye with him as her face went completely pale... "Y-Y-Y-You're..." Before she could get any words out past that exterior as cold as ice, he had already charged at her intending to shatter that ice into pieces. Both out of guilt and paralyzed fear, Lucy stood completely still in his path, not attempting to jump out of the way, but to protest— "W-Wait! No!" Kane, on the other hand went to block Ferdiad's way, but at his distance there would be no getting in between him without any further intervention, Arthur had already begun to react too slowly— "FE- KNIGHT!" But even Kane knew it was a futile exercise to simply use words to stop him from his goals...
  2. "You know what? I've got a question, then." Arthur stands up, staring down at Lucy. The height difference was evident even from afar, but the moment Arthur looked at Mim he relaxed himself just a little bit. Lucy welcomed the gesture, relaxing herself as well. "You and Death both claim to be the heirs to Perus. I think you know what I mean— where's your proof? Where's your Mark?" Lucy did not look thrilled about Arthur's question, her hand immediately drifting up to protect her shoulder. Kane looked at her with a somewhat stern look. "...I... It's here... j-just give me a moment..." Lucy's hands shook the entire time, unclasping her mantle and hurriedly rolling up her sleeve before anyone could begin to tell her that it was okay to not show anything if it made her uncomfortable. The reason for her discomfort was evident in the moments before she hid her arm and thrust her shoulder out— scars wracked her arm, made from various slashes and a few claws. She hid her arm in the process, only leaving her shoulder to be seen. "My... My brother has the real thing... the Mark of the Lion..." Lucy's Mark differed greatly from Stella and Arthur's that emitted a faint glow and especially from Darcy's which shimmered brightly. In Lucy's Mark, there was naught but darkness— no color, no light, and the picture was fragmented to the point where one couldn't even tell it was supposed to be a lion unless they looked closer. Lucy hurriedly rolled her sleeve back down, trying to put her mantle back on like nothing ever happened. "I... I think it was because we were twins that I didn't get the whole thing..." Lucy whispered in an attempt to keep the room not so awkwardly silent (as Kane and Arthur had gone) while also trying to the subject away from her arm.
  3. "..." Lucy freezes up— it's evident that she is not used to answering all of these things. Lenore in particular intimidated her; the aura of hostility was not lost on her and she knew full well that she was still unwelcome. She tried to take a deep breath to collect her thoughts before speaking. "The King is... h-he's actually..." For a brief moment, Lucy looks at the same piece of paper she had been reading from earlier— by the look on her face, it's clear that it doesn't help. She hurriedly puts it away. "Well, y-yes... the King wants to stake his claim, I guess... but he's... he's actually trying to run something like a... uh... business." "A business?" "Makes sense to me. Ruslan always ranted and raved about Perus getting other people to conspire against him... thought he was insane. He's still insane, but..." "Everything... Everything's been run like a business to get more and more people on Perus' side. My brother works like an assassin as the rest of us support him... and lately we've even been getting orders to kill other members of the royal families by the royalty themselves. King Jasper of Gul wanted King Tobias of Ceda dead so that they could watch Queen Stella fall and take the Relic and Ceda for themselves..." Lucy gulped, shivering and backing away as if she were a defenseless animal. "Queen... Victoria of Vini... She wanted King Cyrus of Vini dead... She wanted the kingdom to herself-" "What!?" Kane balled his hands up into fists. "Damn that woman...! So it's her fault that Vini's been on the verge of collapse...!? This is outrageous!... Damn it, I can't believe..." Kane hung his head, gritting his teeth. Lucy fiddled with her hands, uncertain of if she should say more. She briefly looked at Lizaveta with a look of worry, but found herself not wanting to say anymore.
  4. "I'm alone, I promise..." Pestilence whispers to Fey as she's patted down. She looks to Justine, opening her mouth briefly to try and explain herself, but finds herself silent. Kane mulls over the whole thing as Mim confirms her inspection and her insistence, before slowly nodding. "...Very well. We let her inside for now. If she's willing to talk." "I promise, I'll tell you everything I know...!" Kane makes a head motion to her coming inside. Arthur still looked somewhat skeptical, but let it slide. Pestilence hurries in and keeps standing in the living room, too antsy to take a seat. "Alright. You can start with-" "Lucy...! Lucy Belial..." Kane tilted his head. "M... My name." "...Right. But I hope you don't expect that to be an indicator for us to share our names with you. Some of us have families we'd rather not have your brother killing." "M-My brother wouldn't do that...!" Kane raised an eyebrow. "He... um... well, he wasn't always a... he wasn't always like that. But now... well- he's not interested in senseless killing! He's... He's just following orders... You're— You're trying to get the Relics, right...?" "...You spied on us at Ulux Castle? And how do you know about the Relics in the first place?" "Yes..." Lucy's voice drops. "I... I don't know why you're trying to find them all, but I saw it all. It was you all saving that dancer that inspired me to-... I-I want to help. E-Even if not on the field, if you don't trust me, at least let me please tell you about... about us. The Icons of Sin. And... I know them, because... my brother and I, we're... It's..." "...You look like you have something to tell us. If it's wording, how about this. Tell us- who's giving your brother orders? Is it the one who told you about the Relics?" Lucy nodded. "Our... Our employer..." "...He's... while not in name, he's the rightful King of Perus... Our father."
  5. Though Kane's guard didn't go down for a moment, keeping his same stern face and holding his knife up, even as Mim went in between the two of them. However, it was evident that he was listening intently to Mim especially as he looked over her shoulder to continue to see Pestilence trembling and tearing up slightly. Before he can speak up, Lenore says what's on his mind. "My thoughts exactly. Snowbird, if you could. If there's no objections?" Kane sternly says to Pestilence over Mim's shoulders, to which Pestilence almost yanks her arms up into a straight line. She slightly winced as she yanked her arms quickly upwards like that. Mim would find that the tome was the only weapon on her— the only other thing she had on her was a full vulnerary.
  6. As soon as Mim began to open the door, the bombardment of words came from behind the door so quickly that it was almost impossible to distinguish them as separate words. "GoodmorningyouknowmeasanenemybutIpromisethatIcomepeace-" Of course, that was until Mim continued to open the door widely and reveal the visitor for who they were. "EEK!" The loudness of the shriek echoed throughout the Virtuous house, with Kane almost dropping the eggs he had been finishing serving and Arthur whipping his head up in alarm. "Who the fuck-!?" Kane rushed himself out of the room to get a closer look at the visitor. "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but can you please keep it down? We're-" Of course, he stood dead in his tracks, for the visitor was not one that the house would have expected. Perhaps they might have entered through a window or something, but certainly not the front door. And certainly not without trying to hide themselves. And certainly not shaking like a leaf and sweating bullets. And certainly not fumbling on the ground for a piece of paper that they had dropped on the ground, picking it up and reading it as they try to avoid eye contact. "G-Good... morning... you know me... as an enemy... but I promise... that I come peacefully..." "You— What are you doing here!? Come to turn us in, have you!?" Perhaps a bit rashly, Kane drew a knife without hesitation and had it pointed at Pestilence, about a second from hurling it between her eyes. "I-I'm unarmedandtheothersdon'tknowwhereyouareIswear!" The unhooded Pestilence practically hurls her tome onto the ground at Mim's feet. "I'mheretoaskyoutotakemeprisoner!" "...What?"
  7. As everyone began to get settled in, there was a quiet yet frantic knock on the door. The volume of the knock increased with every knock, before it suddenly went dead quiet. Kane raised his eyebrows, still handling a frying pan full of eggs. "...? Can someone see who it is?... If it's Queen Stella or Sir Albert let them in, but if it's just solicitors tell them we're not interested..." Kane said with a small yawn.
  8. Morning came, and inside of the base there was peace. Kane was up bright and early as always cooking up breakfast, just finishing up as everyone began to come downstairs and see a hearty breakfast laid out, enough for the party that had started to accumulate within the house. Simeon rose quite early, stretching and yawning. "Is he still out down there?" "Kane, ye read too many books. He's still tied up, but he came outta unconsciousness not too long after we got home... but whatever head injury Tabitha did, he ain't comin' back from that for a while. Didn't even complain when I was hammerin' throughout the night, not like Sid who's sleepin' in of course." "Works for me." Kane shrugged. "I'll deliver him to Queen Stella later." Arthur continued to lay on the couch, staring at the ceiling and not even being tempted by the smell of breakfast. The dancer continued to sleep the morning away atop Mim's bed, she looked as if she hadn't been allowed to sleep in like that for quite some time. She was actually quite the heavy sleeper and wouldn't even wake up to an average amount of noise.
  9. King Darcy could only kneel there, watch Tabitha and listen to every single scathing word she had. He glared at her the entire way, seething with hatred, the occasional smirk coming to his lips almost as if it were a taunt— what could some goody-two-shoes priest do with an axe? He almost doubted that she could properly lift the thing... but the longer she went, the more his eyes turned from taunting to fearful as he realized that there was a burning hatred inside of her, one he knew that even his death would not be able to quell... Fearful, and for a brief moment, fight or flight instincts took over. As Tabitha swung the axe down, Darcy attempted to parry it with his sword. The blade dug deeply into his hand as he used it to reinforce the blade, King Darcy wincing in pain... "I... won't allow you... to make a mockery... of me...!" The crescendo of steel rose to a pitch as the Killing Edge began to crack, giving into Darcy's weakness and Tabitha's strength alike, forgotten of all innate advantages that came with a sword against an axe— before Tabitha pierced straight through the blade, leaving nothing more than a stump, and forced the blunt edge right into Darcy's cranium, knocking him out. He almost looked as if he were dead, and from the force it would have surely killed him had it have just been a little bit harder— but he was still breathing. Faintly... but breathing. "Well done, Rose... I'm sure that was immensely gratifying." Kane immediately got to work with tying him up, noting the broken Killing Edge. "Probably not necessary to tie him up, I doubt he's coming to for the next few hours... sorry about the sword, Thistle." Arthur also came to chime in. "I'd join in on spitting on his body, but I feel like my own saliva doesn't deserve that." As Kane finished with tying him up, he began to write something on a folded card. As he did, the Dancer looked out from behind Cecily, looking at King Darcy's fainted body. She was silent, though she quickly turned her attention to Tabitha and looked at her instead. Kane finished up the card and placed it on the throne. To the people of Ulux, We have taken the man you called 'king' into our custody. Do not attempt to go looking for him; you will never find him even if you wanted to look for him. King Darcy has gotten in the way of our mission to bring peace and unite all of Purgus. He was a selfish, lustful tyrant who only cared about fulfilling his own desires. He has lied to you, cheated you and killed those who were close to you. For those reasons, we have decided to steal him away and keep him until further notice. What happens to Ulux next is dependent on you, the people of Ulux, from the upper class to the lowest class. Do not make us regret our decision. Signed, Virtuous "How many 'master thief' stories have you read, even? This thing is painfully cliche." "That doesn't matter, the purpose is telling the public that he is with us. The method doesn't matter, and if anyone tries to cover it up we'll bring them confirmation and further reason to distrust the higher-ups. Now, we'd better get out of here. The book can wait another day, if he's confident in where he hid it I doubt anyone would find it in the near future... A couple of you give me a hand over here..." ... You managed to sneak out of the castle to the side where the wagon was. Simeon was waiting for you, Sid as well was there chewing on his nails. Simeon and Sid both noticed King Darcy first as you threw him into the back— Simeon just started guffawing as Sid started freaking out. "Th-The freaking king of Ulux!? You stole the entire king of Ulux!? What the heck did I get myself into!? And who is that!?" Sid pointed frantically at the dancer, now having dismounted but now clinging onto Mim. She tried to hide behind Mim in response to the pointing; a fruitless endeavor considering Mim was two inches shorter than her. Simeon slapped Sid over the back of his head. "Ye point at a lady like that again and I get me mallet. Whatever her reason and their decision is, she's comin' with us. Ye do wanna stay with us, right, young lass?" "J... Just the night... i-if that's okay..." "More than okay. Snowbird, Scarlet, I'll set up a bedroll in your room if that's fine, it'll be a bit of a tight squeeze but we'll make it work. Come on, course straight for home— move through a field though, I don't want anyone tailing us." "Aye aye."
  10. Kane tallied everyone up; there was a lead for taking the King as a hostage. "...I see. I'm sorry Scarlet, Minstrel, Thistle, Dragon... Majority rules." Kane said in a 'that's that' sort of manner. He turns to King Darcy. "Are you going to come quietly and tell us where the book is, or what?" King Darcy did not look pleased with this turn of events. He still waved around his Killing Edge. "I refuse! My deal is going free and then you get the book! But if you want to comb the castle and pray that my loyal guards decided to flee instead of getting reinforcements, be my guest... and there will be no way in hell and damnation that you will get my sword!" He adds, snapping at Reiko. "Can we shut him up already? Anybody got some rope or something really, really hard to smack him upside the head with? Preferably the latter?" "I do have some rope in my bag... taking him conscious would be more risky and he doesn't seem willing to give up the location of the book anymore..."
  11. Kane listened to every word. Arthur was a little less keen on listening, instead opting to pace around the room to make sure that no one else would attempt to come into the throne room as the discussion happened. Darcy knelt there, continuing to seethe with anger. "As it stands, we have two dominant options. We can either take him to Queen Stella as a hostage, or we leave him to the mercy of his own people. While I do entertain the thought of keeping him a hostage to hopefully keep the military from an intervention, the people do have a right to decide and there's also the problem of my uncertainty of how Queen Stella would approve of- Golden Eye, look out!" As Fey wandered closer to Darcy, the man in his desperation whipped out the Killing Edge he hadn't been using and threw himself into a deep forward lunge not too far away from her. However, Kane was quicker on the draw, having brandished a Glue Pack and hurled it to his legs, sticking him there and causing him to wave his sword around uselessly. Good thing Simeon made one for Kane, huh? "Damn... it...!" "Did you honestly think I wasn't keeping an eye on you? First of all, before we decide anything, we need to knock him out or tie him up before the glue wears off so he doesn't try anything like that. Second, time is still a factor. We don't have all the time in the world to chat, I'm afraid, as much as I'm sure we'd like to prove our points. We'll need to do a show of hands and fast."
  12. King Darcy did not look happy about Lenore's on-the-nose guess and simply continued to silently half-growl at everyone. "Not a bad idea for sure... would drum up some support for our cause, as I highly doubt he's a popular king, and it would slightly alleviate the problem of anarchy. The problem of what we do with this scumbag until morning arises. We got a decent basement, at least... keep him tied up there and make for Ulux in the morning. I wasn't planning anything tomorrow, but we could get it out of the way early and not everyone needs to come with. Or... we can tie him up to some kind of post in the center of the nearest city with a note and let it be handled from there. Risky, but less bias from us. More options..." Kane continues to think, but it's clear he wants to hear from most of the team as well.
  13. "I have it locked away— go ahead and try to find it, if you're so confident...! You'll be apprehended within minutes!" Kane shakes his head slowly. "To be perfectly honest, I want him dead too... book or no book. The logical part of my brain usually triumphs, but this time... this scumbag has had so much of a personal stake in my team that even logically, I can't justify him staying alive; we got what we came here for, anyway. And yet... again, it's up to you all. It's not like there aren't already ramifications to our work, just I worry about the state of Ulux afterwards considering the lack of queen or even an heir for that matter..." Kane goes deep in thought, listening to everyone.
  14. "You dare treat me like I'm some wounded animal!? Go ahead and die!" The battle was as swift as King Darcy's knives— before Fey could plant the hatchet inside of him, he had hurled both of Lust's sides at her. They embedded themselves deep within her body, tearing themselves out to return to the king's hands... what he didn't expect, however, was for Fey to still be fine. Though she looked about ready to go down, and that was King Darcy's cue to look away and laugh for a moment— Fey had planted a hatchet into his side. His eyes went wide, the emptiness within showing itself even further... before he fell to the ground. A small axe fell out of his robes, Fey picking it up. How convenient— the perfect prize for the perfect kill. Fey obtained Short Axe! VICTORY! However, they could see that it was too late— they retreated, acting as if they didn't see anything. And yet, King Darcy still clung to life; perhaps the dancer could have told this before, as she hadn't stopped clinging tightly to Cecily the whole time, face buried in her back hoping that she wouldn't have to see King Darcy for the rest of his inevitably shortened life. "Wait... Wait! Fine! I confess it! You win! Take it... Take it and leave me be!" King Darcy threw the Relic. The luminosity of the Relic faded the second it left his fingertips— though with his last ounce of strength, he threw it quite far. It may have hit the ground and shattered, but Kane was not one to take chances on the material of it and dove for it. He broke off into a roll, curled up for a moment as he checked if it was safe... then stood up and tossed it upwards, catching it as a moment of showy behavior before pocketing it. However, Kane wasn't finished, he walked over to King Darcy, ripping Lust from his hands. The knives quickly reformed as they left his hands, and the gusts of wind around them faded. You have taken the four women who you claimed to have saved and threw their lives away all so you could show yourself off when all you could have done was owned up to your folly," Kane briefly glanced to Cecily and the dancer; an obvious lie to keep her hidden and safe from Darcy's manipulation. "What do you have to say for yourself?" Arthur stepped up, seething. "Taking advantage of those women... Calling Minstrel a word like that," Rage was evident in Arthur's words of his own hypocrisy in that brief statement. "You talk down to the ones who have treated me better than any monarch ever had and you somehow claim that you're better than my wretch of a father, will you!? He doesn't deserve words, Phoenix! I'll finish him off myself if I have to!" Kane didn't look ready to object, but King Darcy was. "Wait...! Wait, wait! Prince of Ria, hold on...! Why are you wasting yourself like this!? Your Mark— it's strong...! Stronger than the average prince's Mark...! Yes, I can sense it! And I'd wager it's twice, no, thrice as strong as a normal Mark...! Why let it go to waste!?" "I'm getting really fucking tired of you flapping your jaws about this crap, so if this about ascending the throne you can kiss my-" "No, you fool! Listen...! You've heard of the book, right? The book... It gives you power! Power beyond all understanding!" "I've read Queen Stella's copy of that book already. There's no power in it and she's told me so." King Darcy looked visibly confused and panicked as Kane brandished his own sturdy iron knife, ready to offer up his head to someone, before something clicked. "The Queen of Ceda!? Hah...! I know she wouldn't let you read it all the way! She hasn't read it properly and I'm sure she wouldn't let you read it either! She's scared of the power within! But I... I have a copy! I'll let you read it, Prince of Ria! And Virtuous can become even stronger! I beg you, just let me go get it! Let me go get it! I'll tell the rest of my guard to go home too! They won't get in your way!" "..." "Crimson, you look pale..." "...No. I'm not going to listen to this prick. I'm not reading shit on his terms... A few of you have more of a right to decide his fate than me." "...I see." Kane turned back to his team. "I can't deny... Queen Stella's book... I still remember it. It was the one that she said was passed down to each generation of nobility... it gave that history of Purgus while also telling us about the Zenith Temple and the land of the gods... but there was one thing wrong with it. It has two pages ripped out of it. She said her mother ripped them out... whatever is in those pages is important. Plus, when we step back and think about it, there are more than a few ramifications of killing royalty, even if this man is less than scum." Kane looked somewhat nervously at Ferdiad. "...It's up to you guys. We are judge, jury and executioner whether he likes it or not." Out from behind Cecily, the dancer meekly looks at Kane. Guilt was wracked on her face, before quickly hiding herself once more. Kill King Darcy?
  15. King Darcy is unable to retaliate as blasts of wind are sent flying at him, bringing him to his knees and beginning to weaken him even further. EXP: (24/100) Stats
  16. Though the tides of battle were beginning to get rough, Pinecone marched forward unafraid of the mage that stood before him... even though he would soon learn that a slow and bulky knight like him would crumple under the pressure of attempting to fight a magic user. After Sting moves, Pinecone moves to D6, guards Bend and Lotus and yeets a javelin at Shinywings
  17. Baldur and Tabitha both get to work— King Darcy angrily glaring at Tabitha as she approaches... Baldur is a perfectionist! +5 HP Recovery! Justine recovers 23 HP! Justine is at full HP! Arthur recovers 9 HP! Arthur is back up! King Darcy growls at everyone's verbal beatdowns, predictably unaffected by any sort of criticism. "Hmph! You are the ones who don't get it! That stupid girl who doesn't understand our place in the world— I, the king, and she, a common whore... and then here we have a little boy who aims for pathetic insults to attempt to make himself feel better," King Darcy barks as he shoots a glare at Justine and Baldur. "My reinforcements may be incompetent, but they will arrive! If you must go for quantity over quality, then I will match quantity! I will continue to rule over Ulux! I am king!" King Darcy's boasting doesn't get him any points in the evasion department, Lizaveta doesn't have to try as the blade of wind digs into his shoulder. "How miserable... I'll toy with you no longer! Go ahead and pelt me with your sticks and stones, but once you dare approach me, you will all die! You are all but a mere obstacle in my way of glory and success!" And no, he hasn't noticed his missing dancer. Of course. EXP: (21/100) Stats
  18. The dancer braces herself, tears welling up in her eyes as Mim approached her. She looks as if she's prepared to die, but... she opens an eye at Mim's reassurance. She once again closes her eyes, bracing herself. She can already hear King Darcy beginning to scold her for even looking like she'd consider the proposal... only to hear a yell of pain as Justine digs her sword into his side. "What-!? You dirty whore, how dare you turn your sword on me!?" King Darcy drives his cursed knives into Justine, prompting excruciating pain as he twists the knife into her— however, she still stands. Arthur growls from the ground, seething with hatred at King Darcy hurting Justine and calling her that word. Despite the hostility, the rage... the air somehow turned warmer. Like there was a reassurance that all would be okay. That there would be... hope. And this was most prevalent with the dancer, who realized that she wasn't going to be yelled at. She looked up at Mim, for the first time, making eye contact and somehow crying more than she had cried when her life was threatened... "I... I don't... I don't understand... h-how can you be so nice to me...? I'm unclean, d-dirty, I deserve to..." She whimpered, looking as if her legs were about to give out any second once she took Mim's hand with both of her own... Though it looked like a clumsy stumble, it was entirely intentional as the Dancer fell onto Mim and crumpled onto her legs in a tight hug. "But, I... I don't wanna die... I-I don't wanna be a slave anymore either, I-I just wanna be a normal girl... I just wanna be a normal girl..." The dancer looked back up at Mim, all fear having left her eyes. "...Please... Please help me..." From afar, it was obvious through Kane's mask that he was very glad that Mim joined Virtuous. Even though Arthur was flat out on the ground, it was clear that he was thankful as well. GAIDEN OBJECTIVE: Keep Dancer B safe! EXP: (14/100) Stats
  19. Enemy Phase "I've grown tired of you, barking your head off like some rabid dog... Know your place!" King Darcy spins his knives of Lust in his hands, looking at Arthur who looked ready to take him on despite the range. "Bring it on, you piece of shit!" "Ghk—" Arthur could do nothing as the knives dug themselves into his flesh, tearing through his coat and piercing straight through him to spin right back to Darcy's hands. The first strike was enough to bring him to his knees and drop his tome, but the second strike was too overpowering. He collapsed to the ground, bleeding and in desperate need of a tailor. "Pathetic... You! Refresh me this instant!" "Y-yes, sir! I-I'm sorry, sir!" The dancer is sent into a frantic dance, seeing the corpses of the other three girls around her. Completely sent into a panic, she dances very sloppily and trips over herself a few times with her ribbons, only able to stop herself from completely falling to the ground through the need for self-preservation. King Darcy moves again! "Yes... That's what I need. Now..." Darcy gripped his knives once more, looking at Tabitha. "You see? That's what women like you are good for. Why let such talent go to waste? Just like that dancer I know you coveted so much... what was her name? Rose? She didn't know her place, and that's why she died! And you will have the pleasure of joining her and the rest of the women who don't know their place!" King Darcy chose some extremely poor words. Fueled with fighting fury, Tabitha is too fast for him as she just barely evades the fast-approaching knife. Once it returns to King Darcy's hand, he looks briefly confused before becoming enraged. "Damn you...! Why do you refuse to understand your place! Lay down and die, you pathetic excuse of a priest!" "Uh... Boss!?" A voice can be heard down the stairs Shin occupied. "We, uh... We can't get past them! What do we do!?" Fueled with rage, King Darcy opted to shout. "GO AROUND THEM, YOU CRETINS! You... do you honestly think you can take me on just because I'm alone!?" He doesn't even spare the dancer a second glance. "Go ahead and come here, girl! I'll cut you to pieces!" In fact, his gaze is completely and utterly focused on Tabitha. 23. Automated Movement Shin to H5, Longbow Dancer A Arthur to I4, Fire Maid B, Press the Assault on Shin Cecily to H6 The dancer looked at Fey rather nervously, but kept her mouth shut out of fear of King Darcy's scathing criticism. As Kane nodded to her, Lenore caught a knife in the Maid's knee. After a hiss of pain, the maid managed to catch her own set of bolas on Lenore's legs and bound her. Hoofbeats thundered through the throne room as Shin rode in to stick a rather painful arrow in the Dancer's side. She lets out a cry of pain as it makes its mark and digs deeply. With a flick of the wrist, the maid who had been cringing in pain is engulfed in flame, her body falling to the floor in an almost peaceful, accepting manner. "Hmph. So that explains it... Judging by your boorish temper, I assume you must be King Ruslan's little missing son, then?" "...!?" "Of course a little fool of a prince wouldn't understand the true powers behind his Mark. I can sense your Mark, loud and clear... but why do I?... Hmph. It doesn't matter. I'm just glad that you went missing, damn shame you couldn't stay missing. Look at you, cruelly slaying a woman for just wishing to defend her caretaker— you do not care about the people below you, you would have made a worse king than Ruslan!" Arthur wasn't happy before, and he was definitely not happy now. "Don't give me that cliche bullshit! I'm fucking tired of listening to you! Your attempts to guilt me into quitting and going home are completely worthless, why don't you just cut the fucking crap already? Literally everyone from the throne to the streets already knows you'd rather think with your genitals than your brain, you gave even less of a shit about her! Just shut your fucking mouth and die already!" "Hmph... do not worry, my beautiful maidens, such a despicable man won't be allowed to live..." As the remaining dancer and maid toughened up while the nervous dancer held close and very tearful in Arthur's intimidating presence, Arthur pointed to Shin not too far from him. "Ficus! Kill this bastard!" Shin moves again! EXP: (95/100) Stats
