Pokemon Reborn is actually more optimistic than people give credit.
Kenneth replied to Magus543's topic in Reborn City
At one of the older development posts. The one spoiling end game matches. It had Terra as a combatant. https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/development/records/sh3s-b4ck-r37/ -

Sure it's optimistic. Terra's return has already been spoiled. From what it seems to be, only Corey and Kiki will be the unlucky enough ones, to stay dead. -
Keep in mind that some pokemon encounters, are time-locked. No wishmur post Julia, no Onix before Julia etc. Pokemon Reborn wiki under "locations", mentions which encounters are time-related. Don't worry though, most if not all pokemon, can be found later. And you can always request a trade, just in case you missed a few.

Reborn has a unique style, of "forcing" you to use pokemon you normally wouldn't consider. That is why the really strong and popular choices, are locked behind story progression (later areas), unique quests etc. Still though, a Lightningrod Goldeen can be fished in lower peridot ward and it's usefull against Julia (you can also find a Finneon there and Lumineon is generally considered a useful one). You receive a random, nice water pokemon egg, from a NPC in Onyx Ward (the city area that the 2nd gym is located), as a reward for beating the fist Pulse pokemon and ousting Team Meteor; another egg in obsidia slums, has 1/3 chance of being ducklet. Also, if you get rainy weather, you have 50% chance to encounter special Panpour (the other 50% being Pansear) under Opal Bridge, a Surskit in Peridot ward fountain and a Lotad in Coral ward. When you get a good rod later on (much later, really), fish for skrelp in either peridot, or coral wards.

Banned because capitals are boring; you should visit rural areas instead.
-
Banned because with a Gastrodon in your party, you should never feel lonely!

If you solved the Route 1 quest (Heracross + Pinsir) and chose Heracross reward (with soft reset for nice stats + ability)... Then Heracross + random decoy are more than enough to demolish his team. Heracross + something else, is more than enough for Luna later, as well. Those are among the easiest leaders.

Okay! What is your username?

The Doxy who fights you, right upwards from lower peridot pokemon center, when talked to thrice, gives you a free Incense. Budew can be found on Clear and Sunny (not sure about the latter, but it is very rare anyway) weather, in Northern Peridot, walking on the wall. If you miss it, don't worry, since after Restoration you can find it and Roselia, while walking on Obsidia Park grass patches. But please, be careful about talking Budew, round these parts... Some people want to kill it with fire Higher ups, too

Heatran for starter and Kabutops instead of Ratata, even with random moves, was pretty devastating. Quite fun, really. But as others already stated; if moves weren't random(ized), that would certainly hit the spot!

Can someone trade me the mega stone for charizard?
Kenneth replied to Metagro's topic in Online Play
People, why do you hesitate to trade a rare item to somebody in need? You can merely backup your save and after the trade is done, restore the one right before the trade. This way you lose nothing and you help a forum bro. Don't be stingy! -
Your online username? I can give you mine

That is completely normal for an otaku and/or a hikikomori. As if virus never happened at all. I myself bought a number of games on an online service (not Steam)... Found the chance i always needed to finish through and through all of Reborn's current content (especially the complete pokedex sidequest) and i undertook the task, of finishing a visual novel. On the rare breaks inbetween, i play with animals at or near my house and trim my garden from useless green. Now everybody shall know the hidden pleasures of being an otaku, a hikikomori, a sloth, as well as learn to appreciate the small joys of life (or the absence of one, thereoff). Somebody should never take anything for granted, though. Human is by chance at the top of the food chain and nature could change that at any moment. Nobody is untouchable. We must always be humble, considerate and silently contemplate, our "advancements".

Breed a roggenrola and hatch the egg in 7th street. The recipient accepted mine that way.

Why not mega-Altaria? Fairy is the failsafe choice anyway and dragon gets a boost, in that field...

In sword and Shield, Pikachu are able to learn Surf. Will a pikachu in episode 13 be able to do that?

Relationship points for the moment, change some dialogue lines you get from friendly NPCs. It is rumored they are going to affect post-game content though, much like which unobtainable now pokemon becomes available first at episode 19, or something like that? Early game was harder, until they decided to axe the 3 recovery items for EVERY significant fight, force enemy players into stupid and pointless switching completely uncalled for and out of place (sometimes in rare occasions during fights, they switch constantly while i sit back launching attacks and KOing everything) and worst of all? Make enemy pokemon use their WEAKEST move, when your helthbar is in orange (which means a wipeout is almost impossible, even against leaders, or simply, that one weaker than their regular attack not being enough to KO you). Don't worry. Dark mode (harder difficulty) is going to come! I bet my money on that little wonder!

Use something with Bulldoze/Earthquake, like Golem/Donphan, ideally Sturdy. This shatters the field, but earns you negative relationship points with Serra. Golem also has Stealth Rock (particularly good against weak to rock things) and dangerous Rock moves. Give it a Quick Claw and do your thing until she drops it. Use a good ice type, like Jynx. Use a good fire type with Flamethrower (gets reflected sometimes, when it misses). Her ace, Frosslass, is a hit or miss with her stacked up evades. Get lucky, hit it once with something like stab Sucker Punch and it's a goner. Bright Powder and Quick Claw work well and can be item-hunted early. Just prevent A-NInetales from using the buff. Hit it hard, decisively, with a super effective move of considerable power. A-Sandslash has double weaknesses. An easy fight, with a mixed and well balanced team. The normal leader is easy, too. He was noticeably harder, in episode 16, before Alola made it into Reborn. If you use the Lottery and earn lots of Full Restores and a few Max Revives, the challenge level is non-existent, since post episode 16 the battle AI deteriorated and all enemy trainers were nerfed, regarding recovery items usage. She had to use 3 recovery items, in previous episodes. Noel too. At Noel, a good strategy is a Hippopotas with passive Sandstorm ability, especially if it is raining overworld. Avoid altering his field, like poisoning or burning (works well, but drops relationship points with Laura). P.S. We need HARDER, DARKER Reborn! Give us the good old wipeouts!!!
