I'd "dodged" this bug by de-activating the Speed-up option (Alt key) and by soft reseting some times. I hope it works for you. -

Sorry for late reply. Unfortanately, it still shows a data where you're at Goldenleaf Forest, and for worses, it gets corrupted when I try to start it. It says an error screen, then "Script is hanging". and it close by itself. Sorry for not being so helpful.. ¿Did you tried to usea an back up file?

Welcome to forums, hope you have good time around here. Also for starters opinion, I think Rowlet is a good option. Has a very nice typing in its final form, which in my opinion is a great battler. But welp, it is up to you.. I always choose between Froakie and Charmander, since they're my fav one.

Use Fly. But, before that, how many badges you have? I guess in order to obtain it. you must have 17 Badges.. I don't really remember, but it's a later game item.

There's a series of side-quest in order to obtain it. Talk to DJ Arc at Grand Hall, you should understand from that on.

Welp. As for me, I defeated Hardy with: Greninja, Charizard X, Tyranitar, Metagross, Electivire, and Garchomp. Though in further battles in E19 will probably be harder than E18's. Naganadel is a great adittion to my mons. Aside having nice mons. in rotation such as, Umbreom, Lucario, Dragonite, Alolan Ninetails, Jolteon, and many more.

I'd tried something, much like a Stall. I'd bring down Gallade with Solrock., Rain Daince with Lumineon, boosting Frogadier Water Pulse, managed to defeat Ninetails. As for Lucario, I used Attrack with Luminen on it. making it unable to move, As fof Lapras, Lycanroc did the work.
