Shin looks at the ground near his feet as Lenore speaks.. in thought about her words. "It's why you thought.. that.." A small while passes, and Shin then turns to look back up at Lenore. "..Confidence.. I-It's hard for me to imagine what having that feels like.. I mean, I don't know what even is there to see in me." He says as his hand grasps his chest. -
Shin almost turned around to see if anyone else was there, but didn't (thankfully). "Ah.. yeah I suppose that was a silly question.. u-um, thank you.. though." He could only then listen in both confusion and awe at Lenore's sudden story. "That does sound like.. an unpleasant mess.." "-But it sounds like you've been on lots of adventures, Mink.. like you've done all sorts of different things. That's really cool -- I-I don't think I'd ever be able to pull any of that off like you can-" "..W-wait, what was that last bit?"

During his walk Shin silently moves through the corridors, taking looks at the walls and how grand the place looks compared to first glance, eventually slowing into a daydream like stance. Upon Lenore elbowing him, he immediately juts into attention. "A-ah..! Mink.. hello." He loosens up a little. "No worries.. I'm okay, it's just that-" His eyes wander around for a while before he continues. "Well, I... don't think there's much I can really.. do.. t-to help I mean. So.. I'm just looking around to get out of everyone's way.." After a brief pause, Shin points towards the bread in Lenore's hand and asks: "Also.. u-um, Mink.. is.. is that for me?"

Shin's very limited knowledge about the Cedan Royalty made it extremely difficult for him to realize the magnitude of this tragedy.. I mean, he didn't know that Ceda had a queen up until a short while ago either. But regardless he knew that the air had grown heavy enough to cut with a knife, and while he didn't know how important the King was, the loss of life is no matter to laugh at. With nothing much he could do, he loiters around in silence.

Shin couldn't do much except for being dragged along by Mim and Lizaveta, only able to nod in response. "..T-thank you, sorry."

Shin takes a look at himself and finally notices the state he's in. "Ah.. um yeah, I'm sorry.. I must've gotten a little too clumsy." "I-I'll try to take care of this later.. somehow. F-for now, let's just rest for a bit.. yeah?

Shin, unsure of what to make of Lenore's words, merely looks at her. "Ah.. you- ..But I didn't really-" He stops himself from continuing that usual line of speech, looking away for a short moment before turning back to Lenore and saying: "..T-thanks, Mink."

Shin slowly joins up with Mim and the others where the everyone's attention seems to be focused. "Is it.. all over?" he says as he dismounts Scoopo and walks closer towards the others.

Shin moves to D22 and attacks Axe Cavalier D with his Iron Longbow, then canto to D17 "Almost... there."

Shin moves to C21.

Shin's eyes widen as he readies another attack. Shin to E17 and attacks Axe Cav B with his Training Bow. Arthur to E16 and fires Axe Cav B, then Press the Assault on Shin. Shin attacks Cav C with Iron Longbow.

Kane moves to D13 and swiftly opens the chest. Shin moves to C14 and me and the boys-es releases a quick fire at Knight B with his Iron Longbow, then proceeds to canto to C16. Arthur follows up with blasting Knight B with fire from C13, before pressing the assault on Kane. Kane then dashes to C18.

"Okay.. y-you can count on me." Shin dashes to C10 with his training bow in hand, takes aim and open fires at Mage C, and proceeds to canto to D14. Arthur to C12 and attack Myrmidon B with Wind, Press the Assault on Shin. Kane to C13, force Arthur to equip fire and attack Knight B with the Glue Pack. Upon receiving press the assault, Shin switches to his longbow and attempts to snipe Monk A.

Baldur's jeers fly right past Shin, his attention more focused at the incoming enemy units. He then's assumes a supportive stance at C8, behind Kane, Baldur and Arthur. "..Orchid, careful up front. I'll provide supportive fire with Crimson.." Shin nocks an arrow and steadies his bow. "..But try not to take too much damage.."

Hearing Baldur's call to action, Shin reaches his hand out to Kane and pulls him onto Scoopo to provide transportation assistance. "Alright.. let's get going." and races over to H6. Upon arrival and receiving a dance boost from Justine, he nods his head in affirmation towards her and heads over to D7 and drops Kane on to C7. "..Here we are, I've got your back, Phoenix"

"I s-see.. I'm sorry to hear that.." Shin looks away for a brief second before looking back at Tabitha with a ..seemingly reassuring look. "I-if it would help any.. I-I wouldn't mind being getting to know each other and be friends-" he then immediately slaps himself in the face to avoid sounding more like an idiot, accidentally hitting the bruise he got from Tabitha's punch in the first place. Shin winces at the pain. "Oh.. t-this..? Ah.. y-yeah. But it's okay..! I don't hold it against you.. I know you must've had your reasons for reacting the way you did.." Shin then places his hand on the bruise. "So.. um.. d-don't worry about it." Before the conversation could continue, Shin heard Kane's call for him and walks away after saying "But um.. for now we should probably get going.." He walks a distance before a soft "I won't forget Scoopo this time, don't worry.." could be heard.

Shin turns to Baldur, surprised at his unusually ..concerned demeanor, he wasn't brutally aggressive, for a change. "Ah.. o-okay.. I-I will try to be ..careful next time.. thank you.. uh.. Orchid.." Later upon hearing Tabitha's jests, Shin turns towards her with a slightly puzzled look. "Oh.. hi Tabi- uh.. R-rose? ..was that it..?" "A-ah.. truthfully I usually do look like, um.. this.. b-but I'm fine really..!" Shin scratches his head again as he usually does. "Y-you don't have to waste any energy on me.. Aren't you busy with other things..?"

Startled by Baldur's yelling, Shin turns to him. "H-huh? S-shes the queen? But why would she- ..wait..-w-we had a queen!?" He says as he starts sweating profusely, and scratching his head trying to recall, well.. whatever he could about the subject. He then interrupts himself and turns back to Stella and lowers his head. "I-I um.. I'm sorry. I.. um. I didn't know." Shin lowers his head further. "P-please don't throw me into prison, your ..um.. your.. umm- ..Mrs. Queen."

Shin walks by, completely oblivious to the fact that it's the QUEEN right in front of him. I guess having amnesia does that to you. "..O-oh wow..! You have a castle!? T-That's really cool..!" Shin casually waves a greeting to Stella. "A-ah.. um.. my name is Sh -uh.. Ficus..?" He nervously reaches out for a friendly handshake. "I-it;s nice to meet you... um.. w-what's your name again..?"

Through the back door there was no sign of any impending army, there was no sign of an ambush or danger. Well, none that he could see anyway. Before he had any potential chance to be seen he quickly returns into the base and rejoins the rest. "..I-I took a look from behind the base and there.. doesn't seem to be any one else aside from those two.." He then briefly turns to Kane. "Phoenix, I don't see any sign of ambush from the back of the base o-or anywhere else, ..as a heads up."

"Hm..?" Shin was about to move his half made guitar back to his room when he heard a loud commotion coming from the front door area. It wasn't long until he realized that people were arguing about there potentially being intruders or an army of sorts coming for the base. Shin hastily ran up to his room, dons his "pile of leaves" mask and wrapped himself up in his green cape before silently sneaking out the back door to see if the situation really was as dire as they feared.

Slowly a genuine, gentle smile forms on Shin's face. "O-okay, ..I'll try." He takes that plate that Mim hands him and gestures her over to where the fruits are. "Let's go eat.."

Shin tried his best to shake some sense back into him. He clearly didn't have the energy to start losing it this early in the morning. Food, he had to just get some food. He starts talking after taking a few quick breaths. "A-ah.! Those would be great! Eggs too please..! I-I'm not too picky with what I eat, really.. my eating habits used to be much.. much worse to be honest.." Despite the slight blunder earlier, Shin felt it a lot easier to speak more openly with Mim all of sudden. It felt like a sense of warmth made it's way to him, it felt so alien.. but at the same time it was probably what his heart was deprived of all this time. "..the amounts I eat tend to be unpredictable, at times I eat a lot.. and other times I barely eat anything." He says as he lets out a comforted laugh. "-But Kane and everyone else work really hard here, always.. I-I want to be able to return the favor to them all someday.." Shin pauses for a bit as he realizes that he'd started to trail off. "A-ah.. I rambled on too much.. this doesn't usually happen.. sorry.." he says while briefly lowering his head apologetically.

Walking towards the dining area with Mim, Shin takes a look at the food that's prepared, breakfast is something he could always look forward to at least. "..some food would be good.. yeah, I'll.. uh..h t-" before Shin could finish his sentence he notices Mim's hand wrapped around his own. ..Needless to say he starts devolving into even more of a mess. "a-a-ah.. I-" He says before clearing his throat and looking away. "A-anythings.. f-fine.."

"Y-yeah.. I suppose. Thanks again, mo-" *COUGH* "Mim..." "A-a-after you.." He says after almost making what might me the biggest verbal slip up yet. After Mim heads out, Shin follows and closes the door behind him. To which he then sees Kane chasing after Baldur, and upon hearing what Kane whispered to him he just nodded in affirmation as he watched Kane dart downstairs without falling. ..Maybe Shin could do that someday.
