There really is no getting off the hype train, is there? Because I am hyped; to the point where the characters are appearing in my dreams. Adrienn--who appeared in my most recent dream--looked just like xe'd stepped out of the game sprites and became a real person. (Edit: Notwithstanding the fact that the leaders are actual people who participated in the online league. But we're talking how they appeared in-game here.) (I'll talk about the first time I played this game once E19 is out and I've cleared the main story.)

We'd probably face her as a computer simulation, tbh It'd better not be! I haven't played any of the games, but--as far as I can tell--that series pulls ways for the bad guys to get away with a victory out of its ass every month. It just feels like nothing the protagonists do matters. I hate stories like that.

Oh yeah. Timeline shenanigans. Perhaps the Lin we're seeing is Lin from the future and not 12-year old Lin in a grown woman's body. (insert funny joke about Darkness here)

It does. Allegedly, to stop people from just resting on their laurels if they reach 2000 points or something. And besides, Showdown wouldn't have anything to measure if you stopped playing games for a while. On another note, I came up with another hypothesis about how the story in E19 might go. Is it possible that Lin has familial relations with the thief who killed Solaris' parents for the four keys and was killed by Solaris in turn?

Nah, I don't think so! You just got so excited about the prospect of destroying Lin with Evoboost strats that it slipped your mind. Forgetting basic info due to heightened emotions--it happens to everybody. Don't be too hard on yourself, bud. ^_^

The Labradorra mission will probably go something like this: 1. PC is sent to charge in guns blazing. Grunts are mobilized to intercept us, because PC is Very Dangerous. 2. With most grunts occupied being cannon fodder fighting PC, the leaders take a different, (relatively) grunt-free route into the city to shut the barrier down. 3. Something goes horribly wrong, and PC and leaders get abducted. 4. We must fight our way through the Tournament of Booty. 5. Only then can we take on Pulse Mime, Fern, Connal, Sirius, etc.

You do remember Eevee can't hold Eevium Z (so it can use Evoboost) and Sash at the same time, yes? ^_^ I would suggest Lagging Tail Togekiss for the Yawn strat. Use Yawn first, then Baton Pass to Eevee. The Lagging Tail guarantees that Togekiss moves second. Togekiss BP's to Eevee. Any damage you take that turn will only be taken by Togekiss. Then the foe will fall asleep on the turn Eevee comes in. Now you have a guaranteed turn to Evoboost up. The turn to pass the boosts is not free (you might get a one turn sleep), but whoever you pass to should--thanks to the defense boosts--be bulky enough to survive whatever the foe does. (For extra safety, pass to a Shell Armor or Shield Dust mon.)

Watch Lin do just that. For good measure, watch her use a Sacred Ash just as she's down to her last mon. "This is the power of a God," she'll probably remark. Seriously. If not Lin, I'm certain at least one postgame trainer will be as unfair as they possibly can.

Or perhaps, the real joke is that there is no joke at all. They just do the community release on April 1st to troll everybody. XD

The only thing I can say in response to that is: *insert Julia here* Even then, you do find her in the void, talking about how she tries very hard to forget that the best years of her life are behind her, and stuff. Then again, who knows just how much of what we see in the void is true?

I've been there, bud. But there's actually a way to deal with this: (besides getting gud and not losing any mons in the first place, noob!) Just don't view the loss of a mon as a death in the first place! Oh, my Gengar isn't dead. She's just on permanent vacation. Oh, my Purrloin is still alive! But she's just grounded because she failed to KO a Patrat. A PATRAT. Oh, my Dodrio's just fine, actually! But he ran away in embarassment because he failed to OHKO a Machamp--and at the Elite 4, no less!

No offense taken. Anyway, I only said I would ban stat-boosting moves. I did not say I would ban stat-boosting items (terrain seeds, Choice items, etc.) or abilities (Speed Boost, Moxie, etc.). Do at least one nuzlocke--not of Reborn, certainly, but of the canon game(s) you know and love best--in your lifetime. You do have a point about Nuzlockes being a journey that many don't return from, though. In my case, I DID manage to return from my first nuzlocke! But I am certainly not the person I used to be.

I shall consider this. Though, I'm leaning more toward banning stat-boosting moves.
