  1. Decided to start over with oshawott. Will abstain from sucker punching next time at Shade's.
  2. Shade had a lot of variation between teams and the master version was especially thought-provoking.
  3. Shelly required a lot of preparation so it was satisfying to finally beat her. I only had 1 telluric seed at this point since I used 2 of them at Corey, and this made the fights more interesting.
  4. I understood unaware is a strong ability, but did not think it would be useful on Swoobat. I'm not sure if you are explaining with Swoobat or a different unaware mon, such as Quagsire, in mind (and I appreciate you're trying not to spoil too much), but I will keep this in mind in case the combination of the types and the ability come in handy. Manectric actually appears in a battle versus Shelly. I will probably catch an electric type that learns thunderbolt or thunder though. Lightning rod and thunder paired with a rain-setter seems fun.
  5. Thick fat, lightning rod, and intimidate respectively. I don't plan to keep Manectric for long since it's probably useless in double battles due to its stab being damaging to allies. For Swoobat, ability Simple lets it become pretty threatening with calm minds, which he's already learned. It has pretty low defenses so I doubt it would be useful defensively even with a good defensive ability. Against setup, I so far have roar on Stoutland and Whirlwind on Hariyama.

  7. The Taka and ZEL double battle was tough despite my team being overleveled.
  8. I'm at Florinia and really enjoying it so far. 3 things I noticed Item-ban option was not listed in the features section in the original post, so I unnecessarily downloaded the modular modpack. The first fight of the mythic Magikarp sidequest did not seem to be edited. I wish the rematch trainers in the Grand Hall did not give prize money.
  9. @CommanderThx for the clarification on the patches. For the rar file, I actually just needed to update my 7zip. I was assuming I would get update notification but I needed to manually update it. I had a really old version that probably did not support rar yet. So now I'm excited to try this mod out.

I would like to try this but when I try to decompress with 7zip, I get the error can not open file ... as archive I downloaded twice to rule out corrupt download. @ArcBolt27, did you successfully decompress the E18.3 version with 7zip? On a different note, should I apply all 3 patches in the original post? In the said post you wrote, "[18.3 doesn't have a patch file so you'd need to download the full game again]", which suggests I need to apply all of them but I am not sure. I think a bit more description on the patches is helpful for people who haven't been following this thread from the beginning.
