We know from the weird Dream Demension in Ep18 that Fern actually knows the player is better than him but he won't admit to that which is possibly going to lead to him betraying Team Meteor and helping the team enter Labradorra City since we still have no idea how to get into there. Also I object to you ranking Gym Leaders based on how hard their battles are since some gym leaders would seem more difficult to certain players due to their teams.

Okay can I just see your save file for a sec I remember being in a similar situation and maybe I can get it to work in this case.

Just check your Saved Games folder hopefully you have a few files in there.

Sadly this is kind of a common scenario I've seen it happen often and the best advice I can offer is just to go into any backup files.

Hi guys I know this isn't the right field but I've made a discovery that I couldn't find another place to report with it but it turns out that choosing the battle Taka in the Water Treatment Center doesn't create the plot split instead it's if you choose not the battle him and then in the desert when he asks if he tag along with you. Saying yes gives you the Reshiram Route, and Saying no just gives you the Zekrom Route. So really choosing to battle him in the Water Treatment Center isn't what sets you on the path.
