  1. Definitely Claydol. The Psychic type is one of my favourite types and Claydol is such an interesting and well designed Pokémon. Its movepool is very diverse, but Claydol is usually a very passive Pokémon. Its crest changes that and turns its fantastic defensive assets into a threatening offensive moveset. Cosmic Power to further boost its Defense and Sp. Defense stat and Hyper Beam as mandatory beam move has saved me more than a couple of times.
  2. She's in the room with the red speakers, directly next to the room with the beds and the healing station in the ranger HQ.
  3. Hello everyone. While replaying Rejuvenation recently, I noticed two interesting things I hadn't noticed earlier. Spoilers ahead for certain parts of the game, so don't read further if you haven't finished version 12 yet!
  4. There's also a Shiny Charm available in the current version of the game, but you won't be able to acquire it until you have at least obtained the Strike Badge from Samson.
  5. You can evolve Swirlix into Slurpuff by using a Link Stone and the Whipped Dream. Equip the Whipped Dream to Swirlix and use the Link Stone on it.

    Ciel

Correct, if you decide to give Blake the ring Ciel will be lost in The Void. It's currently unclear whether the people who are lost in The Void are dead or still alive. There's probably a replacement for the Flying type Gym Leader, as is the case for every current Gym Leader. Fern tells you this in a small cutscene after you earn Shelly's badge and return to the Grand Hall.
  7. If you decide to go with Discharge, try to pair your Pikachu/Raichu with a Ground-type or a Pokémon with Volt Absorb like Lanturn to avoid hitting your partner Pokémon. Also, TM Thunderbolt is available in the current version, but it's hidden behind a very frustrating puzzle in the late part of the game. So if you decide you prefer Thunderbolt over Discharge, there's an option to change it later on.
  8. Try to interact with the panel a few more times. If you did it a sufficient amount of times, something should happen.
  9. Well done! I think your Dragon monotype challenge will be a lot easier from this point forward; 4 relatively strong Dragon types are available in chapter 8 (5 if you also count Mareep because of Mega Ampharos).
  10. There's a catchable Pokémon in the Coral Ward that will be very useful against Charlotte later on. It will only appear when it's raining though.
  11. Which starter did you choose? Also, a tip: the move Nature Power is very useful in a Grass monotype. Almost every Grass type can learn it via TM(the TM is available at an early point in the game) and it transforms into a terrain boosted damaging move(except on Ashen Beach, it transforms into Meditate there).
  12. Other options that are easy to find are Pansear and Spearow. Pansear learns Incinerate while Spearow learns physical Flying moves, both are 4x super effective against Leavanny and are not nerved by the cave terrain. You can find both Pansear and Spearow in the Gearen Park(the one with the big fountain with a statue in the middle).
  13. That's a possibility. Each statistic(Attack, Defense etc.) has a set limit of how much EVs it can have. If you're EV training a Noibat, it's a good idea to invest most of its EVs in Special Attack and Speed. Noivern is a fast special attacker with mediocre defenses and decent supporting moves, so it's logical to strengthen its best assets. Most EV spreads for Noivern look like this: 252 Sp. Attack 252 Speed You can invest the remaining EVs in HP, Defense or Sp. Defense.
  14. Same here. I have multiple save files, and I also like to do monotype or themed runs of the game. It's a nice change of pace to try out Pokémon you wouldn't use otherwise and see their individual strengths and weaknesses. I'm also interested in trying out all different story lines/paths the game offers, but maybe it's better to wait with that until there's more information available about the consequences some in-game choices have.
  15. Good luck and take all the time you need to finish things.
