  1. Hello, I am trying to figure out the bug I keep encountering is stemming from. Exception: NameError Message: undefined local variable or method `nonmegaform' for #<PokeBattle_Battle:0x0000021fd04ee0e8> PokeBattle_AI:31675:in `block in pbShouldSwitch?' PokeBattle_AI:31660:in `each' PokeBattle_AI:31660:in `pbShouldSwitch?' PokeBattle_AI:35167:in `pbDefaultChooseEnemyCommand' PokeBattle_ActualScene:4270:in `pbChooseEnemyCommand' PokeBattle_Battle:5191:in `block in pbCommandPhase' PokeBattle_Battle:5166:in `each' PokeBattle_Battle:5166:in `pbCommandPhase' PokeBattle_Battle:5094:in `block (2 levels) in pbStartBattleCore' PBDebug:4:in `logonerr' I am currently trying to battle Narcissa. At first, the battle is normal and what seems at some random point in time, the error starts popping up and itt keeps happening any time her pokemon are suppose to attack. It does not crash the game, but her pokemon are unable to attack. This also happened when I went to battle Ren right before this. I am unsure of the causre.
  2. Here is what little info I did found out about the aevium milotic. The Abilities Are: Poison Point: Contact with the Pokemon may poison the attacker. Merciless: Critically hits poisoned Pokemon without fail. Defiant: When a stat is lowered, its ATTACK increases. I have a hardy nature Miltoic. I ended up using a bunch of reverse candies to take it back down to level 5 to retrain for any missed moves. Here are its current stats for anyone that is curious: HP: 26 Attack: 16 Defense: 14 Sp. Attack: 12 Sp. Defense: 19 Speed: 15 It also seems to want to learn poison tail when it evolves. Edit: Here's what my feebas knew before I evolved it and then de-leveled it back to level 5. Dazzling Gleam Brine Tackle Splash Here's what I have so far from leveling up Aevium Milotic. Level ?? - Splash Level ?? - Tackle Level 07 - Refresh Level 11 - Disarming Voice Level 14 - Slam Level 17 - Venom Drench Level 21 - Charm Level 24 - Dragon Tail Level 31 - Play Rough Level 34 - Attract Level 37 - Pain Split That's all I have found out thus far. If I feel up to it, I'll take some notes on the level up moveset and edit my post in the next few days.
  3. Interesting! A friend rec'd me this game very recently so this is my first time playing Rejuventation and I have no past experience to compare and contrast with. I can't even imagine that kind of pressure for this fight, man. I personally play for the story and the unique take of the devs world, so for me, I'm not satisfied with cheesing my way through everything or relying on RNG to make/break every major battle. No wonder I see topics about Narcissa from v12.
  4. I am playing v13 on Normal. I'm at the end of Chapter 4 trying to figure out Narcissa. I'm playing 100% vanilla. I'm starting to enjoy the overall experience a lot less because of the constant need to use cheese tactics and hoping that I get a good RNG match. The fact that I am having to rely and consider on the RNG at all makes me feel that the balance of the game is not right. As of now, I have no ability to use the EV training facility, I can't buy revives, there's no reliable access to berries (that I have found), and I have not found any battle items that could influence my tactics. If the bosses/gym leaders have their optimized fields, optimized IV pokemon, fantastic movesets to counter anything that you throw at it, and are omnipotent/clairvoyant to the point they somehow know your items, when you're going to switch, even at the start of the game (and it only gets harder as you progress), then for a vanilla play through, players probably need the revives and access to better items at the very least. No one should be omnipotent either. I feel this would be where the game needs to be adjusted if the devs wanted to keep the specialized fields (which is something I like). So far, the only change I have made game wise is that I went from 'set' to 'switch' to see if that could help combat some of the AI's ability to know when I'm going to use a different pokemon after I KO one of theirs. I did this to make an attempt to not rely on cheesing everything and test out different tactics, but it only helped with so much. TBH I'll probably drop the difficulty to easy just so I can have a good experience. If normal is this difficult, then easy should still see some of the same difficulties. Edit: I would also like to add that I am incredibly disappointed that I can't even evolve the Feebas until halfway through the current content. If the forms are rare to encounter, it would be a delightful to be able to evolve a gift pokemon early since it seems like it could be very useful in some situations. That could be a nice quality of life change and a great way to reward players as they grind. I've put in almost 60 hours and I'm only at the end of Chapter 4. Who knows how long it will take me to get to the point where I can actually evolve it.
  5. I actually have a pretty decent shiny alolan raticate that I caught really early on, however I did not use it for this fight. It had hussle and I soon learned that while it was nigh unstoppable, it was just too inaccurate for my tastes. I also caught a nidoran male with hustle as well (I wasn't aware that was a thing) and I had to use the ability capsule I found early on to change it. I chose poison point over sheer force. I was able to defeat Giratina/Geara combo. Here is what I used, in order: Luxray lvl35 w/ Intimidate - Baby Doll Eyes - Spark - Ice Fang - Crunch Stoutland lvl35 w/ Sand Rush - Crunch - Take Down - Roar - Rock Smash Feraligatr lvl35 w/ Torrent - Scary Face - Ice Fang - Crunch - Water Gun Nidoking lvl35 w/ Poison Point & Poison Barb - Sucker Punch - Poison Sweep - Mega Horn - Rock Smash Cacturne lvl35 w/ Water Absorb & Sitrus Berry - Sucker Punch - Magical Leaf - Power-Up Punch - Toxic Spikes Pangoro lvl35 w/ Scrappy & Normal Gem - Body Slam - Vital Throw - Bullet Punch - Circle Throw My movesets aren't the best, but that's just from what I have on hand atm. The suggestion to use Luxray with intimidate + baby doll eyes made everything so much easier with Geara. I targeted the Persian with two Baby Doll Eyes to really nerf it and then I focused on the other side, killing them one by one while Persian basically hit for nothing. I did this fight about 4 times before I got my timing down and only once did Geara switch out Persian after knocking its attack down really low. Stoutland can take a few hits from any of Geara's pokemon so I swat A-wak out of the way, healed up my party while he set up Morgrem for stalling. Pangoro's Bullet Punch took care of Morgrem even with the screens, nidoking's poison sweep for clefairy, and Feraligatr for Masquerain. Since both Nidoking and Cacturne both know sucker punch, I was able swat him down with good timing before it KO'd both of them. In one of my battles, I was able to hit haunter hard with Pangoro's body slam + normal gem after I paralyzed haunter + scary face. Hope this helps! I know I was sick of this battle. I was straight up about to give up.
  6. I did not manage to get the Shinx. I will take a look at the guide and try it out. I'm only willing to go so far though, so if I can't get this figured out by tonight, I'm going to have to drop the difficulty. I can't even buy revives. FYI This is my first playthrough with Rejuvenation. I've never played any of the previous versions, nor Reborn. I'm assuming this kind of difficulty is expected on normal? I'm good with trying to figure out a challenge since I have about 40 hours into this game out of determination and exploration, but I'm starting to not enjoy this experience for a normal play through. I can only imagine what Intense is suppose to be.
  7. Version I'm playing: v13.0.2 normal mode. I am also seriously struggling with this particular fight. I think I have the right team to try and get close to winning via the right RNG, but I can't even switch pokemon slots between the battles. My team can currently deal with Giratina, but not Geara. Jigglypuff and the new regional Feebas are the only other fairy choices I have other than Mime Jr (which I was lucky not to miss tbh). I have not found a snubble, marill, or anything other than jigglypuff (since I can't evolve it without a second moonstone). I'm going to try out Gossifleur and see what happens, but I am not hopeful. I would love to see the teams of the players who successfully has defeated this. I have been trying for 3 days to figure this out, between a few team swaps and different strats between moves.
