Igglybuff/Cleffa event not work late in-game? -E13.2

I forgot to do the event early in game, but I haven't heard that it's a limited time event, so I'm curious what I'm doing wrong. I have 9 badges and its night time(I've tried different night times from 8pm and over), but no team meteor members at the abandon house located near the lady with Igglybuff and Cleffa. I checked up on the lady and she said something like "Everthing is going to be all right..."

So did I fail to do the event corrrectly or glitch?

Iirc the Meteor members that you encounter are the ones that quit/die (Tara and Simon?), so I'm guessing you can't do it.

Ah, that makes sense, that lady got lucky this time

Hopefully Ame will make the Cleffa family available in the future...
