Why does everything happen when I'm sleeping -.-'

Like to revise my RoG man Corwin, so here's the revised profile

Name: Corwin Westone

Age: 16

Birthday: 12-27

Hometown: Driftveil City

Division: Combat

Starter/Current Party: Drillbur. (Current: Excadrill, Metang, Kirlia, Swanna, Croagunk)

Appearance: 6' Bulky but agile. Dirty blonde hair parted over one eye, which varies by season. Always wears a trench coat whose color also varies by season. Carries two sheathed knives in his coat's belt but never uses them except out of desperation. Blue denim pants always, and dark brown boots always.

Backstory: Corwin's parents were joint owners with Clay to the PWT and wanted him to recieve an education in competitive battling so he could become a Gym Leader. Corwin despised this and forced himself to slack off and not work. In his second year at Ymora Academy, he personally dropped out, just walked away leaving a note, only taking his Drillbur. He spent several weeks in the woods training with his Drillbur. He started to get hungry and seek out food - which was not plentiful there. He encountered a relic in the woods and just sat down in hopelessness. Soon, a duo of unknown trainers appeared speaking about this relic. Corwin wondered what they wanted with the relic and straight up asked. The trainers challenged Corwin and he handily swept them valiantly. The trainers were shocked by his skill and asked if he wanted to join a noble cause - the RoG. Corwin initially said no but his hunger got the best of him. He agreed in exchange for a hot meal, which the trainers were glad to provide. Soon Corwin found himself under the wing of the RoG. His loyalty currently extends far enough to where he'll obey as long as he has food and a place to sleep.

Personality: Extremely intelligent, but truant as well. Prefers not to battle, only when he sees the moment as fit, such as for RoG's services. Outdoorsman, likes being outside for long periods. Often slips away from his designated RoG station to just enjoy nature. The RoG leaders in charge of him have come to accept this as long as he comes home.

I already said your character can't be in RoG for a long time. He needs to be a new recruit and only can have 2 Pokémon. About those knives: the first thing your PC does with them is pick his teeth. I'm pretty sure that doesn't count as a desperate situation. I probably overlooked it but RoG doesn't allow weapons on new recruits. You get everything before the mission starts.

About the rest I highlighted: If you want to be a drop-out you'll miss all the future action. There's no way RoG willing to take a risk by sending Corwin.

If you want to join RoG now: only 2 Pokémon, max lvl 20. And drop the knives.

Tell me more about this relic. Because RoG doesn't go after relics unless they need it.

Doesn't like to battle -> shocked by his skill. This doesn't make any sense and I find it a bit sue-ish the way you use it. And those 2 members must've been really weak to lose 2 vs 1 against a drop-out student.

That last sentence gets you killed. None of the leaders will accept something like that.

And don't post before I say you can. It didn't make any sense anyway since I've no idea who you're talking to and the way you came in disrupts everything.

Corwin despised this and forced himself to slack off and not work. He luckily washed up near a beachy area of Ymora even though it wasn't his intention. He spent several weeks in the Ymora woods training with his Drillbur. He started to get hungry and seek out food - which was not plentiful there. He encountered a feral Absol in the woods that attacked him with no rhyme or reason. Corwin barely managed to defeat the Absol. Soon, a duo of unknown trainers appeared saying they saw him defeat the Absol. Corwin wondered what they wanted with him and straight up asked. The trainers challenged Corwin and he handily swept them valiantly. The trainers were amazed at how this starving boy survived all by himself for weeks and asked if he wanted to join a noble cause - the RoG. They could use a survivalist. Corwin initially said no but his hunger got the best of him. He agreed in exchange for a hot meal, which the trainers were glad to provide. Soon Corwin found himself under the wing of the RoG. There! You happy?

@Antares I can just see Chimchain saying "Don't take that kind of tone with me."

@ExLink What are you trying to do with the 'fainted' technique? Get CPR? If so, then what ever results will be hilarious. Otherwise, I've got no clue.

From what I could tell he was trying to be cute and faint from Avis's wing attack, perhaps get some CPR on the side.

Your tone with this seems so resentful and angry and I feel like basically you just wanted to find loopholes in everything Chim wanted you to correct.

Denied and let me tell you why:

As Turbo and Tacos already said I don’t appreciate that tone. I only pointed out what won’t work in the story to avoid trouble later on. Yet you seem to avoid everything I said and either laughed with it and ‘changed’ it to make it ridiculous or you tried finding a loophole. Those knives and your character living in the Academy Forest are great examples of this one. Especially since you can’t reach the Academy Forest without crossing campus and there are many strong Pokémon living there that would alert some of the NPCs. The knives are a one way ticket to either be forced to work for RoG or will result in character death.

Furthermore by this latest action of yours you come off as someone who doesn’t like to be criticized or change things even if the request comes from the host who created this world. I have a strong suspicion you won’t listen to anything I say and would just do whatever you want. The character you have in mind, even though it won’t work in this world, is something you apparently aren’t willing to change.

By this action alone I already have the feeling your character has to be the best like you want it. This will probably going to result in you power playing others by refusing to lose upcoming Pokémon battles and have your character making no sense at all. I also have the feeling you really want him to be an authority figure (by reading your post in the IC) which is going to piss off some of the others involved with you.

This is just the general image I have of you right now and I can probably find more things, but I’m going to leave it at that for the time being. The only thing I’m willing to say is this: you show no respect to me or any of the others involved in this RP even though you made like 4 posts in the OOC. This is the main reason I decline your participation.

Not CPR I can tell you that much. It was just a joke that's all, wasn't expecting much.

Side note: So is Slade going back to the academy with Ryan or is it just Ryan?

Slade is going to support Ryan in getting back there since Ryan can't walk. At this point Devin thinks Slade (and Danielle) is (are) irresponsible which is why he decided to pick Slade up and let him help Ryan.

@Chim: I really don't blame you for that. Part of writing in anything is learning and accepting your mistakes. If your not willing to listen, you really won't get anywhere.

What do you mean? About the guy I refused? I'm not blaming myself either.

Oh and at this point Henry is seriously going to dislike dragons.

Well in that case, I'm just going to act like that post didn't happen and wait for updates from Chim, Pine, and/or Snap... No offense mate, but if you treat the RP Host like that and continue being stubborn and a Marty Stu, I have a feeling it wouldn't really be fun. Hopefully you didn't mean to set such a disrespectful tone and you meant to say something like, "There we go," or "Is this fine now?" or some other less terse-sounding comment... but seeing how you disregarded Chim's other comments, it might just be me being optimistic.

Yeah, that new user. I just love how Henry is the only one bitter about Dragons. Pretty much everyone else was excited on the trip. (I'm really surprised no one makes a joke that Hydreigon acts like Henry).

Edit: I think Ryan needs Henry's pain killers about now

Be careful with what you wish for...

Considering Henry can't run, I hope help arrives soon. 5 minutes is about the max I could hold it off with Evan. (Encore, Confuse Ray, Poison Powder).

Edit: Watch Chim troll me and have the Hydreigon attack Jacob

So will Ryan be unable to go on the excursion or is he just going back for medical attention?

Only going back for medical attention. You can decide if you want to keep the broken ankle or change it to something else.

@Chimchain Should the rest of the 'Haxorus Group' follow Devin? Possibly lead to help Henry and Evan when Devin hears the 'next roar'?

Devin won't hear the second roar since it wasn't loud enough. He's currently with Slade and Ryan and almost at the bus.

The only way to stop the Hydreigon is to help Jacob find Salamence.
