There is beauty in balance, proper planning must be taken for said balance.

Though, sometimes, chaos is just as fun. Not knowing where you are headed, but knowing you are headed somewhere.

Ah, to plan or not to plan, that is the million dollar question.

Chim, mind if Arius gets a Staryu added to his lineup?

@Hukuna right on, you now have earned my unwaivering respect.

I am also a balanced team builder. Currently have Espeon, Ferrothorn, Azumarill, Lucario, Talonflame, and Gliscor. Well rounded

"Do I look like a guy with a plan?"

- The Joker

This is actually the first time I'm doing something like this with my team actually... Normally I would balance it out with diverse types, but right now I really really just wanna give this a shot. It also fits Raiza, who again, has a personality loosely, very very loosely based off of mine-- the it, in this question, is pretty much doing what I feel like, mostly for fun. XD don't get me wrong though, I'm not a yolo person

Once your character is introduced I'll ask the three Pokémon he currently has. 10 is the limit but be aware that the more you have early on, the lower their levels are going to be.

Same here actually, though since for some reason my heart is set on doing a sort-of monotype, I'm trying to make a balanced team with what I've got. I think I really should get a notebook and pen to write down my planned team and their movesets lol, but you know me, I'm too lazy to so it all stays in my head...

Multiple dark types can cover their weaknesses really good. I run one and manage to hold myself against Fairy and Bug types. Fighting tends to be really annoying unless I can cripple them first with Sableye.

Dark type is love. <3

Though I guess I should develop a heightened sense of appreciation for the more defensive Dark-type Pokemon too in that case... Sableye and Spiritomb would after all cover my team's current weakness to Fighting with the bonus immunity to everything but Fairy type.

I really like monotype and used it to create this RP. I was planning to do a mono water character but decided against it since I already created Phoebe. Lana uses my second favourite type and originally I planned a dark team for Devin but it just didn't fit. That's when I thought about making dragons OP (or give them that reputation) because Gamefreak introduced Fairy types to counter them.

In the story I originally started Lana had a mono fire team which can be really strong. Flying and Bug are really good on Showdown.

I'm suprised no one uses mono-Steel. Steel is superior defensively most of the time, immune to Poison* resists half of all typings. Although, Steel is either all-out attacker or defender.

"I forged this hall with an cold metal heart. Steel is the superior type, those who don't use it should be put to death!"

Did Robert fell for Sissy?

So far, no. His willingness to follow whatever plan Sissy could come up with is because he would have little to no idea on how to fix this kind of situation, and can trust other's ideas. Additionally, there is a similar reasoning as to what Ryan said to Pheobe, in how she may be able to know a better way to help Sofia, since. 'She's a girl too.' The same could be said to Sissy, but probably wouldn't because Robert has enough brains not to support a 'gender stereotype.'

Of course, that kind of 'possibility' is still open to the future, as he's not as much 'dense' as he is 'not actually looking for love (he'd be good with it, but he'd be fine being single.)'

Aye, Dios mio, soldiers... so many pages to catch up on. At times like this I wish I was young like back in the war...

Hmmm, I don't think I'll really be posting much tonight, but If Strat/Surge wants, we can try and get a dialogue between the two going.

You can try if you want, Soldier, but I can't say as to how successful it'll be given his current mood.

You know how bloody confusing these Surge posts are going to be once Strat gets back lol.?

That's why I tend to stick to Stratos. One name for use. Keep things simple.

No actually, Commander, he didn't quite think of that before he left. Though, that might be a bit fun to see.

And besides, Folks who already know him and whom he thinks of as friends will know why those post are like they are, so it won't really matter to him all that much. If anyone else comes along and gets curious about it...well, they'll just have to get to know Stratos, now won't they?

@Turboaura: I can assume that Robert is walking back with Sissy, right? Or is he telling that while he sees sissy walk away?

Just after Ryan flew away, which is why he's asking Sissy if she has any ideas before they just head back. So I guess, if she'd be walking away, it's be then. Edited by TurboAura

Panda still needs to make a character and Tomas Elliot is also waiting. It's going to take at least a few more days because I don't want to rush things. And Chapter 3 involves the Winter Cup so if TurboAura agrees I can arrange they face each other.

Normally I would randomize each opponent but if there are requests and both players agree I'll set them up.

So I'm entered into a tournament already? Sweet!

Why is Ryan the bad guy? >.<

Because you rejected Danielle. Don't worry, we will all have a chance to be the bad guy/girl if we haven't already xD

Easy, Panda, you still need to pass the ultimate test.

Why is Ryan the bad guy? >.<

Your not necessarily the 'bad guy,' but whether you meant to or not Ryan put the girl in tears. Robert doesn't see you as such either and the situation just as a bad misunderstanding, but Sissy seems to sympathize with the girl.
