I thought you were but you didn't do it in that sandbox so I assumed you were postponing Skorupi... Maybe I should've asked about it xD

*Zephy's Idiot Mode: Engage*

wait

I could've found Skorupi in the desert area?

*shoots self in the head*

Ah well, you did say Skorupi were easy to find in other places though...? XD oh well, if I can't catch one now, I'll see which one of the other Pokemon I'd planned on catching are in the vicinity (now, where's my post about my team building dillemma...?)

You might miss it if I edit it in but did you want me to take control over a wild Gible to battle? (somehow I have a deja-vu moment by asking this)

There's also the opportunity to battle some Phanpy / Donphan if you want later on. They aren't exactly meant to battle but you can use it as a way to calm them down.

And I also decided to drop Sofia after this trip. I didn't expect Ryan to be open with her this early so there's no point in her being around any longer. And I have enough other NPCs to keep around since I need new RoG Agents. ((That update is coming Surge but I'm still figuring out some of their teams))

That would be lovely, although Teo is the only one who I planned to have battle against a Gible. Spitfyre is going to battle a Trapinch and Chalchi is going to battle a Druddigon, while Arete is probably just going to lose whatever battle I have her fight because Togepi.

EDIT: Also, dropping Sofia could cause continuity problems. I'd just keep her as a background character in case we need another NPC at some point in the future.

Haha... er, how 'heartbroken' will Alvin be when Robert shows to be not as much 'bug facinated' as Alvin seems to think. I mean, I could probably throw in some bits of 'bugs have their own spectrum of beauty and power' and 'neither bug nor fighting is "better"(super effective) than the other,' but I would rather there be a gray space between hatred and 'eh, he's okay.'

He'll probably try to convince Robert about the beauty of Bug Types. It's up to you.

Take your time, Sergeant. And speaking of teams, I've decided that the member next in line for Mareek to acquire is going to be Torchic. I'm going to save Eevee for now and just have him catch one in the academy forest later on in the story.

EDIT: On second thought, don;t pay attention to what I said above, I got a question first:

When would be the next opportunity one would be able to obtain Dratini if it isn't done during the trip?

Chapter 4. In the Safari Park.

Skorupi's are found in the desert / sand area. If you want one later it's also in Chapter 4 but in the Hippowdon Reservoir.

That would be lovely, although Teo is the only one who I planned to have battle against a Gible. Spitfyre is going to battle a Trapinch and Chalchi is going to battle a Druddigon, while Arete is probably just going to lose whatever battle I have her fight because Togepi.

I was planning to make her leave as an exchange student. At this point she's not contributing anything and it gives Kristen some more motivation to dislike Ryan. In chapter 3 there are going to be 6 other NPCs running around as students so I don't think she's needed.

If you want to go with that go ahead. It can dig itself in the ground so Raiza might have missed it. Or you can go with a lost one since I did the same for Evan and Vulpix.

5 levels under your lowest. That way I know which Pokémon won't be participating in the Cup and everyone has a fair chance. You can go lower like Commander is doing with his Togepi.

Hey Chim, could you maybe set up a situation to help Ryan train. I want his pokemon to go up in levels a bit and teach Victoria not to get upset over tiny mistakes in battle.

Sure. It's going to be against other Bagons though. Or I can throw a rock type at him...

Paradox (love the name btw) is about level 9, right? Maybe I'll make the Skorupi around that level or so.

I'm gonna continue working on my next post and updating my PC profile post tomorrow, I have to go to bed. If anybody needs to, just go bunny Raiza-- you don't have to mention anything about how the training's going it's not like I was planning to describe it anyway MWAHAHAHA! cause I'm not sure what to train them on or how to do it just yet... actually, you know what, never mind, I'll just get back on ASAP and play my part.

@Zephyr: It's level 5 (I think my max was 12...or 10) because of it's not going to battle/level up slowly. but 9-10 should be alright for your Skoroupi. I tend to like developing my Pokemon over period of time than having them be 100% ready to battle (otherwise the trainer would be worthless).

@Dobby: I thought it was Java that bumped into Claude, not Mareek? Correct me if I'm wrong~

Mareeks nearby, and Claude couldn't really see much, so it doesn't really matter. And he was off balance anyway after being dragged around, so it's all good.

You can catch a fourth (underleveled) on the trip if you like. Or go in the forest in Chapter 3 to catch something.

It'll be during the trip then (since I had intended to catch the fourth member during it anyway)

EDIT:... I don't really know what to do now with Java right now... so I'm just gonna wait for sergeant Chimchain's next update, Corporal.

@Jory it's up to you if you want to turn it into a double battle.

@Dobby and Surge: Fire types attacks are powered up because of the heat if you decide to battle Torkoal.

Chim, was I supposed to set up that training thing then or...?

Still working on it. I was thinking about something else instead of another Bagon. I wanna see you struggle

Edit: speaking about struggling: Want to face Alvin? He has all his Pokémon running around so Bagon can easily challenge something or the other way around.

@Chim: I never expected Alvin to be this 'bearable.' It his very worst he seems like one to truely care for his pokemon.

Hmm, maybe I should ponder the 'training' myself. I did skip leveling Kiai from 19 to 20 and evolving at the Goomy's battle, and I'm not sure how 'able' it would work evolving it on the last day of the trip during the battles. Would you be able to set up a 'battle', either when/if your plan for 'using' Alvin with Ryan's training separates Alvin from Robert, or just the next area. I'd even be good with a simple 'okay' and just come up with the battle in the next area the group goes to. Whatever you feel's better.
