@Zephyr: It's level 5 (I think my max was 12...or 10) because of it's not going to battle/level up slowly. but 9-10 should be alright for your Skoroupi. I tend to like developing my Pokemon over period of time than having them be 100% ready to battle (otherwise the trainer would be worthless).

Hm... maybe I'll do 9 instead for Pin Missile. Also, out of curiosity, where do you guys get the ideas for training? At the moment I'm trying to come up with a scenario, but... >>

Going to post my Mawile catch later tonight since it's going to be another long post. Heading off for dinner~

Jory asked Chimchain earlier today if he could train up his team with the wild dragons. Chimchain said yes (and gave +1 level up for it).

I've put Achlyx's data in Raiza's profile in advance. Working on the capturing scene now. By the way, support moves that don't do damage are moves like Agility and Acupressure, viz. beneficial to the user, or do moves like Sand Attack and Scary Face count as support moves too?

... oh shoot so that means Lucifer has three support moves e_o *runs off to edit*

Since Lucifer hasn't used Confuse Ray yet, I decided to take it out as opposed to Minimize and Acid Armor, since I already have posts where he used the last two moves. This leaves an open slot which will be filled in later on by a TM move that I'll have him practice later on, if that's okay with everyone.

@Chim: I never expected Alvin to be this 'bearable.' It his very worst he seems like one to truely care for his pokemon.

Hmm, maybe I should ponder the 'training' myself. I did skip leveling Kiai from 19 to 20 and evolving at the Goomy's battle, and I'm not sure how 'able' it would work evolving it on the last day of the trip during the battles. Would you be able to set up a 'battle', either when/if your plan for 'using' Alvin with Ryan's training separates Alvin from Robert, or just the next area. I'd even be good with a simple 'okay' and just come up with the battle in the next area the group goes to. Whatever you feel's better.

He is bearable as long as he thinks he has something in common with you. If you start of the wrong foot, like he did with Danielle and Claude, he won't make an effort to get along.

As for your battle it's would be easier to set up in your next area. (That's the sandbox so probably a ground or a fire type.)

I think I'd prefer Spitfyre win one on his own to gain confidence in Jacob.

Fair enough. One vs One it is.

Ah, thanks, DarkLight. So um, Chim, could I also sign up for a training session with the Dragons? I think I'll make little Achlyx pop up during that time XD

Sure. I'll get on it. Unless you already started something since this is the first thread I check. xD

Also; as long as you don't go overboard with support moves I allow more. Claude's Doux for example learns more support moves. I Just want to avoid a situation where someone uses Poison Powder, keeps spamming Double Team to dodge and uses Protect just in case.

@Chim: Okay, that sounds good for 'training' plan, a fire type moreso fitting for a challenge for Kiai. And I guess that makes sense for Alvin, not really being the 'friendly' one if the other was negative.

@Darklight: Was it you who came up with the why_not instead of why not, or you just used it as example. Either way, it make things 'easier' to just write the words.

If it's okay, you can still control the Horsea, Bidoof and Goomy.. or swap 'em out for other Pokemon XD And all right then, so I'm keeping Confuse Ray for the time being

It all depends on the other battles going on. Training sessions at this point aren't really that important as you get a full battle against another PC soon. And there's the upcoming Winter Cup with a lot of battle opportunities.

I saw Surge using why_not in the Surge story OOC thread, so I took that idea from him. I just prefer seeing the words instead of the Wynaut.

Hey Chim are Electrikes found in the Academy forest. I might introduce, not exactly catch, one of Henry's future Pokemon if they are. Also I'm kind of in the same boat as Dobby and will be gone today and half of tomorrow.

Yes they are. And I'll keep it in mind. Same for Dobby.

Hmm, I already have figured out a decent bug-type for Robert. One question, did anyone else mention getting an Anorith/Armaldo? Seems decent, though I probably wouldn't get one for a while.

Also, does Alvin just think that the reason others dislike him is a dislike of bugs? (And not his pride)

He doesn't care why they don't like him. He either thinks they judge him or are bullies in some cases. He knows not everyone likes bug types but the reason he still talks about them won't be revealed right now. I'll create an opportunity to get his backstory in. He actually has one compared to Lana.

I can already tell that thing is going to be a pain...

And for those PCs that don't get much to do right now; all of you get something later on in the story.
