Hmm Gengar is cool but his Mega could be kinda overpowering(Though shadow tag is Nowhere near as OP as it is in Competetive)but i'll keep him in mind. Gyarados is one of my Personal favourite pokemon (Mainly because of the pay off that you get from training that pathetic little magikarp into an all destroying beast) Houndoom is just plain awesome though i think that it might fit Henry a bit more. Bannete fits with Shade(The Duo) Sableye though.That prankster fits James near perfect:Really Defensive and more Supportive but can go offensive easily with a few moves. I never was one for Mega Sharpedo sadly

In the end it'll probably be Between Gengar,Sableye and Houndoom. Because i like them over the others personally.

M-Banette should fit in James's team or Houndoom. My original idea was to let it behave like it came straight out of hell but that would make Evan too hard to approach.

Or if you aren't going with your first idea to create a mono ghost / ghost-dark team; Mega Camerupt.

I'm trying to keep James's team with a Few more Ghost/Dark pokemon than other types,Hence Tyranitar and Gengar and Sableye being planned members for year 2(1 of them might be a year one).Also,why Mega Camerupt?(If i do go with Houndoom,Solaris might have to be left for year 2)I like its design but i never really used it :x

Scratch Sableye off the list,i just had an Idea for Houndoom(Sorry Solaris but Houndoom fits James more than you)

I forget which one I was gunning for lol. Though it was probably either Mega Sharpedo or Mega Sableye.

You had doubts about to pick which water/dark type, but Sharpedo had the advantage because it can mega-evolve. M-Houndoom and M-Sableye were also mentioned.

Because I like Mega Camerupt and it would be something unique to say the least.

Besides Malamar,you could consider Spiritomb because of its pokedex entry and the anime episode with it.There's also Liepard who is a known thief and a few others.

Also the only reason i don't go with Malamar is because of how weird it'd be describing physical attacks with it.And when mentioning psychic types,please nobody reccomend exeggutor...i have bad blood with that thing.

Wait... I'm definitely going for a Dark team, yes, with an additional theme... What're some other Dark Pokemon with bad reputations?

Absol -> disasters

Krookodile -> violent (same as Drapion / Hydreigon)

Houndoom -> calls Grim Reaper and everlasting painful burns (dammit now I want one xD)

Honchkrow

Spiritomb -> mischief

Malamar -> makes you his minion

Shiftry

Grim Reaper is Shade's thing yo,call of your Cerberus Fire Dog Chim

Shiftry is moreso overprotective of its home though :x

Apparently Shiftry can read minds according to it's FRLG and XY pokedex entry...

I remember reading something about a bad reputation as a forest guardian.

And nobody said Girafarig. That thing really does need more love.

DarkLight considered it. Not sure what she's planning now.

I'm also really surprised no one has considered Sigilyph or Mr. Mime either. Very, very underrated Pokemon. I just find it funny that There's like 400 options and all of you are set on like 5 or 6 (which is why I completely removed of any thought of picking T-tar and most OU Pokemon).

I don't do Sigilyph because i despise the thing...Mr Mime is a fair point though(He is kinda creepy tho)..i'll take a look through the lower tiers now,perhaps i'll find something i like :P

Hmm Hypno is a posibiliy,A recent Fire Red nuzlocke made me change my opinion on it.Damn thing was really good(I was depressed when a suprise explosion killed it)

Hey, I've tried innovating with mons, instead of going with Top tier abusable mons. I mean, my starter when evolved hasn't ever made it above RU iirc in competitive, but Doux is still my bae. Then there's Lance, which is NU/RU iirc and Colere, a UU mon. I think, i'm not very versed in tiers aside from OU and those are mons i've rarely seen in OU nor BL
