@Azery: Honestly, none of those really work well for the team you're going for (no offense..get it...I know it's terrible). I'd go for Tentacruel, Toxicroak, Seviper/Arbok, or Scoliopede. They have a lot more diversity and uses compared to your list.

(None taken)Scolipede is cool and Speed boost works just fine the down side it brings is a third rock type weakness.Arbok can make good use of Coil and Glare to become really dangerous and having good defenses helps aswell.Seviper is just too frail for my liking. And i've taken a liking to Toxicroak recently with Poison Touch+Venoshock being quite fun.I just don't like Tentacruel :x.

So Scolipede or Arbok in this case..

You might not realize it, but Arbok really does have a lot more uses here compared to the metagame. You may want to consider it for year two as it's a great partner for a Powerhouse being able to stall opponents like crazy. Seriously though, Tentacruel is probably the best choice for your team with access to Rapid Spin (and can destroy Doux with that Liquid Ooze)

Technically i already have a Counter to Doux:Tytanniel.Unless it Huricannes or uses HP Fire Doux can barely Ferroseed :x.I've recently learnt that everything can be good from a Fire Red nuzlocke...never expected a Hypno to be so powerfull..RIP Old Friend ;~;...Arbok works well and considering the fact that it evolves early it can be awesome Same with Scolipede and Tentacruel.

But then lance comes in, eats a fire fang if he has it, and destroys with a drill run :3

YEAH, I THOUGHT MY SHIZ OUT TOO GAIZ, TOTALLY NOT A COMPLETELY ARBITRARY DECISION, PICKING LANCE >.<

EDIT: Why you all hating on the cute lil' fluffball? He tried to help Ryan when he was on the literal edge :c

People are just 'hating on it' for it's power. And with Drill Run Lance now in mind, I'll be lucky Toxicroak has access to Ice Punch and a lot of Ground attacks. Edited by TurboAura

I've used one competitively in UU for a trick room team. I know of it's power. It actually is pretty deadly to hyper offensive Pokemon, but completely worthless once it gets any status effect, especially in this RP. You also forgot we have other Pokemon too.

My team is designed mostly for doubles, but they all can handle themselves in singles even at a disadvantage later down the line. (Pretty sure all off Henry's Pokemon will have a super effective move against a Dragon...except Gypsy, but she's got Tinted Lens.)

This isn't really competitive so just pick what you like. I decided to make Rhyhorn a powerhouse from the start because Lana is meant to be a supportive character. Alvin is just for my pleasure later on

Also I'm picking Evan's team on pokes I really like using at that time / personal favorites. I try to keep diversity in mind but that's about it.

Technically the same can be said about most Grass or Steel types -Shrugs-

Anyways It's gunna be Scolipede, with Speed Boost and Swords Dance it can be a real threat and if needed it Can Baton Pass them to other mons

Yeah...I'm not actually going too competitive with my team (though it'll be fun bombarding you guys with Earthquakes next chapter :P). Generally my rule of thumb is to choose one Pokemon I really like (Delcatty/Ninetales), and try to look for ones I have mixed feelings with like Venomoth.

I'm doing what chim said. (I'm gonna have to think of a counter to EQ with the Pony duo, Rapidash and Zebstrika may not be the smartest idea, but it sure as fuck is the most majestic)

if we're gonna talk about teams, soldiers, I'm honestly not too hot about these two troopers right here...

628.gif-The Righteous

ZEAL

-Loyal, gripped with a strong sense of justice, and proud, Zeal is a true soldier of the sky, willing to step up and fight for those too weak to do it themselves. He's more than smart enough to know that there are just some fights not worth getting involved in though, like those which from time to time flare up between his fellow team members, during which most of the time he just sits up on a high perch and watches them make fools of themselves until either Nemo, Erce, or Swiss intervene and bring things back to relative order.

He trusts his aerial partner in crime, CBRN, more than anyone else when it comes to battle, the two of them making an even more devastating team than Swiss and Poppy on the ground, harrying their opponents and attacking them without letup. He was the harshest in his judgement of Mossad when the Electivire first came onto the team due to certain circumstances, condemning him for what the electric type had done in the past, and he was the last one on the team, aside from Erce herself, to forgive all crimes commited by him and accept him into their little family. He and Nemo are also close friends, having a mutual respect for each other.

149.gif-The Navy SEAL

CBRN

-Strong willed and even a bit stubborn on certain matters, CBRN is an excellent fighter whether on Air, Land, or Sea, able to switch up her tactics easily for any of the three scenarios and more than capable of keeping her cool even in the thick of battle, hence her title of the Navy SEAL. She doesn't cause any problems with anyone on the team and tries to even help Erce out with keeping everything in order, while at the same time regarding the Scizor as a rival to someday defeat.

She and her battle partner Zealot make a devastating team in the air, just as Swiss and Poppy do on the ground, fighting fiercely and ruthlessly by raining down blows from above. She's a bit weary of Poppy though...

Everything else on his team, I more or less have something deep planned that can justify their reason being there, whether for story purposes like Mossad or for symbolic purposes like the first two triumpharants...

These two here though, they kinda feel like tack-ons to me that were added because I couldn't think of anything else to fill the slots with. I want something that's capable of flight, for utility purposes and such (Even though Java can kinda fly in a way...and so can Erce, though it'll be cut to just glidding in the future...)but that won't take freaking forever to actually get to a fairly useful point in battle (Talking about the Braviary here, at an evo level of 54... one less than D-knight, and as badass as murica bird is, It's no psuedo legendary, yet only has a two stage line with no inbetween stage... and if that much work has to be put in for something, I think there should be an equal pay-out for it; like with a magickarp, the things worthless, but if you keep it and grow it to level 20 and sit there and endure all those battles of switching out tediously... you get an absolute monster for your babying. But with Rufflet's line... the pay out isn't equivalent to the expending effort in my opinion) and that doesn't have a weakness to rock types given that's the type the overall team plan has the biggest vulnerability to.

And at the same time, there's also D-nite... I think it's just too mainstream, soldiers, like a cliched tv trope that's been beaten to death by now, and I want something a bit more... exotic, different. plus, everyone and everyone's mother uses dragon types if they can get their hands on em... so I figured Why_not break the mold and go for something else.

Only question is... what to replace them with...

First thing that comes to my mind is Skarmory. It's capable of flight and rocks do neutral damage.

I really should make a second word document with the teams and moves. No way in hell am I going to remember all these NPCs movesets. I'll be glad if I can remember Evan's pokes...

I've gotta agree there,if not for the work Dragonite has put in for me in the battle maison,i'd probably not use it here. It's a bit too mainstream for this but it works just fine due to it having a Middle stage in Dragonair which has still has decent stats and moves.

For Zealot i'd go with either A:Xatu because Psychic type and Magic bounce allowing for good support or B:Sigilyph who instead has Magic Guard allowing it to only be damaged by offensive attacks.

Idk about a Dragonite replacement though :c
