Heh, I felt really bad for keeping you away from the actual action and interactions with other characters, Turbo, so yeah. Now you ccould be free of taking care of Shiro if you wanted >3>

Hehe, why feel bad? I planned on going a moreso passive mode to begin with, so those interactions were good enough on my end.

But with that being done for the idea of interactions, I guess I should go with that and... wait, would it even make sense for Robert to get involved in the 'darkness around discussion' at this point, especially since that wouldn't really be something you'd want to spread around. If not, guess it's just watching the battles go by until something presents itself.

Turbo, there's actually three different perspectives on Evan and RoG (which Henry refers to as Shadows): Henry's, Mareek's, and everybody else kind of shares the same view since they're all working together (Robert probably would join together with the groupie). Henry is kind of neutral towards the RoG so coughing info out of him is easier said then done. I only did it for Slade so that he could be a medium for Henry and Mareek to be on similar pages.

Oh don't worry, I got plenty of Henry lines in case someone wants to try and get him to spill what he knows.

Mareek more or less thinks that they're possibly some splinter branch of the long dead rockets that's trying to come back because of Slade's description of what happened and the bit of fabric he found in the woods while searching for evan. And he was highly skeptical at best with Evan's original explanation about where the skarmory came from.

But regardless of what he knows, he won't reveal anything to someone he feels is rash or an idiot... and even after that, he wouldn't even reveal it to someone he thought highly of without being given sufficient reason first... because too many folks leads to people budding in where and when they shouldn't and ruining shit...

@Commander: Oh, of course I know how the perspectives fit over. It's just a thing that if Robert were to just walk into the conversation now, it would imply a certain lack of... secrecy, especially since there's not much Robert could add to the theory either way.

Team Rocket is enough to give James motivation to look into this..He can reach everywhere with Shade yet I wonder....Will there be more people from RoG going into the school anytime soon?

Honestly, I doubt it. There were people beforehand (I don't know how many exactly) who were just merely watching. The only reason Galen and his minions were brought in is because they're on a mission (and no, it's not about recruiting Evan). Unless RoG finds something else of interest in the academy, they won't be so active right away.

Seems the most likely option. TBH i expect the operations to really start around Chapter 6/7+

Ha! oh please, soldier, things start now...

but yeah, depending on whatever Sergeant Chim has planned, things will probably rise to their crescendo somewhere around that time or so...

I wouldn't be surprised if Reborn itself was finished and Ame moved on to starlight before this gets finished.

Gez, if it gets to that point, we might aswell make a Ymora game based off the RP...like I initially imagined it becoming huh? jk Edited by TurboAura

Well, Corporal, RPs generally do not move on to their ultimate conclusion very fast unless the plot is intentionally short like a Reroll or such or there are Total Wipe possibilities (In the later case, chances are it still keeps going even after that, so...). It's not like it's all being written by one person whose devoting most of their free time to it; instead it's got a lot of different authors who all have their own things going on IRL that can affect the flow and pacing of things as things pop up, etc... and so it takes alot longer than say... writing a novel.

Plus, the objective of an RP is to ultimately have fun and craft a great story, not get it done as fast as you can- cause rushed writing, 9 out of 10 times, is not very good writing.

So yeah, soldiers. that wouldn't be all that surprising at all if Reborn is done (With post game content added even) before this reaches it's climax/ conclusion phase.

The infiltration is the first mission. I planned this so RoG members (when it was still playable) would face the students. I still have to rework the details about how I'm going from here. (I had 2 storylines that I need to merge together without looking rushed or being completely lame)

Unfortunately I suck with things like that. If you want go right ahead and make one xD

And now I'm off to bed. I got lucky and didn't have to work until 3.30 - 4 AM.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind if/when I get into making fan game ideas. Will probably get doing things like that around April for free time. Hope I'll do Ymora honor when it happens. Edited by TurboAura

I just realized how broken Teleport might be......I mean in the actual games it doesnt do much since it's turn based but here..Anything with it can go Sonic the Hedgehog and dodge everything. Though i'd say it takes quite a bit of energy since you have to move through time/space and all that shiz but if it's well timed it can change the outcome XD

shouldn't be an issue if folks just use some sense and only rely on it in a fight sparingly, like I intend to... (Yes soldiers, at this point, mareek's next team member might be Xatu... gotta get me that psychic bird.)

There are many things that normally would not be considered good that have become useful in this format. Which is why the standard OU "OMG AWESOME" mons won't be as potent and the lesser used mons will be the opposite case. Not that I have many examples in my planned team. I'm just using fun mons Though seeing as Claude is a coordinator that doesn't really matter. He won't have to break out the combos to incapacitate people. He just has to Dazzle them ^^

A move is as broken as you'd make it out to be. I'm going to treat teleport like Mewtwo's in Smash Bros Melee. The move can warp you anywhere on the field, but you're stunned for a moment after the move (which basically means your opponent gets a free attack...or move). Before you say that it's worthless like that, it's still very, very useful, but you can't just spam it to get out of every situation.

So in that Sense it's like a combination of Protect and Hyper Beam but it can allow you to move behind your other mon for protection if it's a double battle.

It's way better than protect actually. The issue I see with that move isn't only escaping, but being able to move right behind the enemy mon and get a free hit. The other issue is powerplaying as someone could make a really cool strategy and teleport could completely ruin it. That's why I said the Pokemon should be stunned.

The level of stunning should also move with the Power Level(ITS OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!! ..sorry i had to XD)and how far the pokemon moves as it takes more energy out of a lower level mon like a level 15 Abra than say a Fully evolved level 70 Alakazam for instance.

I was just gonna treat it as being highly strainful mentally for the user, and as such spamming left and right in a fight is going to rack up and cause more or less a black out of sorts. Cuase... they are manipulating the fabric of space, afterall, and that shouldn't be counted as any small feat. But once or twice with a considerable amount of time in between, I imagine something like that in battle would be alright. But spamming it would be like KOing your own fighter from pushing it too hard, like Chimchain has had to force on a few occasions...

((OF course, there's always training...practice and all that to increase endurance for it, but it's beside the main point.))

I still think being able to combo with it is going to be a major problem. Especially with Psychic types, it's going to be almost always a guaranteed victory when you can attack after teleporting. Surge, if you can find ways to where your opponent could win against the strategy, I'd be okay with that. I already had to open this can of worms when nerfing confusion (it was basically a weaker Psychic in the anime).
