I mentioned some gym leaders use a swimming pool design (and they did in the anime). Brand's water field is different. I can't expect everyone to have a water type or let something like a Drilbur swim.

And I got ninja'd again. Btw Brand is hosting right now since Marco is still looking for a new microphone. I only made Marco to show a little more about Brand's passion later on.

That moment when you realize that Ancient power has two entirely different manifestations between the anime and the manga's and games...

Darklight, the RNG has blessed you because this battle is gonna be haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard for me to win. Don't worry though, I already figured out a handful of things I can do with this field.

I swear that Avis didn't rig the RNG lol!

I look forward to it~

Yeah...the first couple posts might start out a little slow, but it'll certainly pick up in a bit. You can't exactly charge at an enemy with a huge disadvantage.

Also Chimm, I hope you don't mind some damaged property in the battle. Promise it won't be too bad though.

I'm pretty sure it's similar to the Champion's room in Pokemon Origins or something....that or they have spares -shrugs-

As long as you pay the bill I don't mind.

Assery's Joke was ineffective

I laughed at this one even though I don't know why...

Also I feel like giving Evan a Weezing.

Mareek's thoughts right now after hearing some of these suggestions and back and forth...

am-i-the-xjq72q.jpg

Not when it comes to being social and friendly ^^ That's More so Claude, Danielles, Ryans and Jacibs forte from what I can tell, but in that list is two people who kinda have reasons not to be nice... And Claude cosying up to Evan after talking about Skarmory would be weird. Gogo gadget Jacob...?

Well even though Robert isn't a 'social butterfly,' he's an optimist and sees the best in people. Add to the fact that Robert, as far as I understand, has struck some good notes with Evan(might have that part wrong), and that makes the possibility seem better.

As for how to handle it, my understanding of Mareek's view would be 'keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and the neutral closest so you know what they become.' The fact is, there needs to be true sentiments shown instead of 'friendship as a pivotal point'. If someone who can truely understand what Evan himself feels, that's the best answer. Otherwise, Claude's plan is best so far.

When? Robert and Danielle pissed Evan off when they made Hydreigon's temper even worse.

There is such a clash of personalities going on here, I can tell... and that's precisely why he's saying what he's saying- because he actually does think of it all as just some type of plan or operation instead of some genuine effort at turning Evan driven by things like actually caring or wanting to be his friend. Like turbo said, there are no true sentiments, Mareek's simply being completely objective about the end goal because that's more or less how he just is. Logic and facts come first, emotions on the other hand, are a far harder topic for him to deal with

but yeah, this right here, it's a huge freaking clash XD

Though it's a it weird now... he'd be pretty pissed off that he'd been working on this longer than anyone in the group aside from henry, only to have someone else come in and basically do the equivalent of telling a detective "you're off the case, go home." after they've spent hard time and energy working... but at the same time he'd also be fully aware that everyone's more likely to side with claude and that trying to go further with advocating his own suggestion of how to proceed is a battle he can't win now...

hmmm... eh, I'll figure it out...

Oh yeah... Welp, just me being to optimistic then too. 😅 Somehow, I remembered it as a lot less 'black and white,' but that's just me... The rest of my point still stands though. Edited by TurboAura

Commander, I was actually snickering to myself when the mud hit Henry's face. Then he said that quote at the end... xD

Update will come a few hours from now. Class starts in 10 minutes for me and then I have to get back home.

Yeah, I thought I'd try to throw a little humor in their seeing as most battles are super serious. I feel that this was a pretty clever way to use mud sport though considering how worthless it is in the games.

By the way, I find the discussion on the whole Evan situation quite amusing. I do agree that Claude would handle it much better than Mareek, but I really don't think any in particular is best suited for the job.
