I'd give the fossil mon some love personally.

Also, I need to ask a question.

Roy the boisterous Conkeldurr or Lpunny the glamourous bunny?

A lo of my team is made of physical attackers without much support, so I was thinking of replacing conkeldurr the bruiser with Lopunny because A: Lopunny is more contest oriented and supporive and B: covers the same typing if one day I choose to mega evo it.

In the end, both mons personalities will be interesting to see with Claude I feel but, Claude would so very much ove Lopunny. It's a freaking bunny.

Note: If lopunny was brought in i'd probs also replace Staraptor with crobat because Crobat can be more supportive and can run special atacks which I also really need.

I'd say go with Loppunny, never really liked it but Loppuny can do most of the things Conkelldurr can do and is more contest related so i'd say that would work.

And Dobby it doesnt have to be an offensive moves but i digress.Anyways,I'm still stuck on the question:Sableye or Aegislash?

Eh, Chimchain, I think I already might know what the answer to this might be, but I just wanna ask anyway for future reference:

Do abilities have to stay within the same line as Pokemon here, IE, for example, say someone has a Blitzle with it's hidden ability: Sap Sipper, and it evolves into a Zebstrika. Now, as a Zebstrika, would it still have to retain the Hidden Ability line- IE, still Sap Sipper in this case, or could the evolution possibly cause for some mutation to allow it's ability permanently switching over, from Sap Sipper, to one of it's regular abilities like Lightning Rod/ Motor Drive upon the change?

Basically what I'm getting at is; Generally speaking, can pokemon swap from one ability to another upon evolving, or are they permanently stuck with the one they have at birth (Not counting evos that actually change the standard and hidden abilities entirely)?

again, just checking...

EDIT: by the way, I've figured out a way to use slaking... even when he wants to be lazy as hell.*chuckles ominously...*

I think that would work but perhaps it would be better to have the Ability Capsule be some kind of digestible tablet that changes a pokemon's mindset to change its ability? Food for thought it guess :P

I always thought the abilities had more to do with the actual biology of the mon rather than the psyche, to tell the truth. I don't really see how chemotherapy ties into it exactly though... then again, I personally don't really verse myself very well in the field of cancer treatments, so... maybe I might be missing something that might be otherwise obvious because of that

It would certaintly help mons like Clefable since Unaware and Magic Guard are both really good but since abilities have something to do with both the pokemon's psyche and biology a Machine that uses Ability Capsules which are rather rare would be amazing :P

I'm personally just gonna stick to ability lines. That said, it means Colere is gonna be stuck with Sturdy as evidenced by when she fought Snorlax, Doux with prankster of course and Lance with Overcoat, coming from No guard.

TBH idk which one acts as the devil of pokemon Yveltal or Giratina so i'll just have them share the role for now since Yveltal is Death Incarnate while Giratina controls the Distortion world which could be seen as a version of hell....

Death (I get it's the destruction pokemon, but let's face it, it's the life/Death duo) =/= Hell

They may be thematically linked but they are two very seperate concepts.

Yveltal isn't neccesarily evil. Death, as represented in the Arcana, often signifies a new beginning. Paving the wway for the future. Climb a mountain of corpses to see a beautiful new sight.

Hell on the other hand signifies punishment. Presided over in religion by the first to be punished ( I think the fallen angels come before Adam and eve at least), the first ANGELS at least to be punished. Giratine is the poke-equivalent of a fallen angel, punished to a seperate realm. That said this is why giratina would be more relted to the Devil, what with the possible links to biblical myth.

Considering Yveltal is the pokemon that represents death,i think that thing might fit James more than Darkrai but whatever.I have to say one thing though, considering what Duskull evolves into, seeing that metaphorical chain wouldnt be too much of a strain...

no, it's just that all things considered from the portrayals of our god lord arceus in the movies and such, I don't really think it all to likely that he would straight up damn someone, human or pokemon, just for failing in a promise to defend their friends so long as they gave it a damn good effort and didn't give up all the way until they failed.

Now, if they abandoned them after making such a vow, then that would probably be a different story entirely... cause it's been shown that Arceus don't put up with traitors and shit. But simply failing, not because you abandoned the promise and went back on your word, but instead because of outside circumstances that might have been completely and utterly out of one's control?

Yeah, doesn't seem too fair to me... and all things considered, Arceus is portrayed to be, more or less, relatively fair. Doesn't really strike me as a being who'd pass harsh judgement just for a simple mistake or something.

Same ability. Once you pick one, you're stuck with it for the same reason as to why I don't allow items, Rotom has to pick a form and Hidden Power can only be one type; to avoid that people are going to abuse it.

And let's say that abilities are generetic so there isn't really a way to change that.

KK, that's what I thought, thanks for clarifying.

Dang, I didn't even realize Henry has been MIA for almost a week now.

It's ok. Things have been going slow lately and it doesn't help that I'm working irregular hours now.

Yeeeaah... Uh... PM me if somebody needs me or if Raiza's battle is up next >< I'm really, really not sure how to reply at this point.

Sorry about that, I assumed you were still busy or would end up with Lana. If Raiza is still in a random spot I can come up with something. I need to throw around some more grass types. (Slade is going to enjoy that)

Also has anyone seen Trainer Red around? If I PM him he doesn't reply so I gave up on that option. I just want to know if he's limited on time or missed the update.
