I added Pokémon that would fit the first random three Pokémon I gave him. Medicham and Gengar are the only two I have a plan for that suit Evan. So I added Crawdaunt (fits a rain team and is part dark). Yanmega is there to add some speed and deal with grass and bug types that benefit from the rain. Politoed to set the rain and Torterra / Goodra are support which leaves me without an Electric type.

As for the options you suggested: I don't want to use too many Pokémon I already gave to Lana. Mamo could do but it gets destroyed by water. Quagsire is an option but I think I would prefer Swampert in that case.

The idea involves letting Evan trade away the Ninetales after the tournament. (I will weaken his next Pokémon) so I can give him a rain team without using Swift Swim / Rain Dish Pokémon. That would also cause confusion and get another student involved...

I don't want to spoiler too much but a certain NPC that hasn't made an appearance yet uses a team like that. Evan would use something similar and that's not really what I'm aiming for.

So I ran a bit short on time to be able to update Slade and Ryan. I will update them tomorrow.

@Commander: Because Medicham is the one to share a strong bond with Evan and the one to calm him down. But I might use Seismitoad (not sure what to do with it) since I don't have an important NPC that uses it. Galvantula might fit in as well.

EDIT: On second thought I don't know if I can update tomorrow. Apparantly one of my collegues is even more retarded than I thought so I'm basically pulling an all nighter at work. Yay for 12 hour shifts. If I ever see her again I'm going to ask her straight if she's just retarded or lacks common sense.

No worries, I'm going to be in the library trying to find sources for this paper basically all weekend, so I might not be able to post much, if at all.

BTW, just for future reference so everyone knows: Java's dialogue modes are differentiated by different fonts- With Courier New denoting spoken dialogue, and Times New Roman denoting dialogue appearing in the form of text on screens of electronic devices and the like. The Courier New however will eventually change to a bit more elegant font (EX, Lucida Sans Unicode, or Trebuchet MS, or Comic Sans MS) once he eventually evolves into Porygon-Z and becomes able to generate more natural sounding voices on his own without the medium of an actual device

Wouldnt Porygon-Z make a more glitchy sound considering the Dubious Disk is filled with untested material and potential Malware though?

no. while he could and does, even now, is able to make such noises, to my knowledge the dubious disk shouldn't prevent him from being able to communicate in human languages, only make him act a bit... odd at times. Think of something like that crazed AI from portal, GLADOS, except without the homicidal tendencies and what not. Well, mostly without.... basically he'll just act eccentric and vexing every now and again.

Yeah well, I'm leaning more towards Lucida Sans Unicode anyway... curious quote though XD though in all honesty, after an advanced period of time passes, I'll likely just stop differentiating Java's spoken dialogue with fonts altogether and just use Arial like regularly

I think it comes from how frequently it's used for kids (Or by very condescending presentations). You certainly wouldn't see a report written in CS

Wow...I forgot the 2 themes that are pretty much solely associated with Dusknoir(They might be pokemon themes but they were made for Dusknoir lol)

and this guy

I'll probably will be keeping the Pain theme for him as his main but this one is a beauty :P

Hey, I'm currently looking at Son Jeor's moveset for the future, and I got a quick question: Does the move Superpower cause the same lowering of Attack and Defense afterwards here as it does in the games, or does it function more like the anime and manga's portrayal where there's no displayed drawback to using it?

Treat it like I did with Roy in the mystery dungeon shin-dig imo. It basically tires out the user.

So tempted to have a Scizor instead of Hitmonlee but Erzace is making me shy away from that, then again integrating Ryo's personality into him wouldnt be too hard.

Calling it here,Watch the ground type leader be a member of RoG or infact one of the 3 admins/commanders/executives. Seems too obvious so it probably wouldnt happen but the possibility's there.

That took forever to write and now I realize I forgot to update Devin's group... I seriously didn't have enough sleep last night.

And I actually have 3 different teams for Evan (ideas + depending how the story goes) but none really worked out... I really should've given him Pokémon for a reason instead of postponing it and being random...

..Sorry Ryo but...,Scizor would work way better with Rubix and his Rain Dance....They would work well as a double battle pair since Scizor's light Screen patches his average Sp Defense up while boosting Golduck's decent Special Defense while Golduck's Reflect boosts Scizor's good defense and his own below average defense....Oh this'll be much better.

Just accept the fact that Erce will always be superior to others of her kind, lols... she's got that intelligence going for her.

And I'm assuming that Reflect and Lightscreen work more like the move Protect here than it does the games functioning, basically a one shot deal where the user has to be focused on the screen the whole time and can't just leave it up unattended.... at least, that's what I'm getting looking at the anime depiction.

anyways, I finished drafting the roles of the next three team members (Who will all appear in year two):

178.gif- The Seer of Truth

DELPHI

-Mysterious, Enigmatic, and honestly a bit ominous at times. A seer who can veiw the past in her left eye and into the future with her right, but who spends most of her focus on the delving into the past when not in battle due to a slight optical injury limiting her perception of the future to short bursts at a time. She attempted to attack Mareek after receiving a certain partial vision of an encounter with him leading to something dark in the future, though Erce and Brienne easily put down the threat, though were held back from dealing a final blow by Mareek's orders, his show of mercy causing the bird to reconsider her interpretation of what she had seen of the future and ultimately deciding to join the team... to see where things lead.

When engaged in battle, however, Delphi switches gears and relies on her damaged Right eye with priority, using precognition and her short glimpses to predict likely trajectories of an opponents moves and dodging accordingly with great speed and maneuverability. Like Brienne, she wields her wings in a manner reminiscent of sword-play when up close to the foe, all the while raining down the light of truth onto the battlefield...

Her partner both in and out of combat is the Melisandre, who shores up her handicap when it comes to extended foresight, and the two of them work as one in order to provide council to their teammates.

Theme:

655.png- The Red Prophetess

MELISANDRE (MELIS)

-Fierce, Devoted, and Charismatic. A Delphox who found Erce and Mareek and their little team rather intriguing due to the things she saw in their possible paths and decided to snoop along for a bit but ultimately joined them outright. Melisandre is capable of glimpsing into the future by gazing deep into her flame of her wand and focusing her mind, and works together with the mysterious Delphi in order to council the team... though in truth, her prophecies are as fractured as all the possible paths of the future and more often than not left up to individual interpretation than anything else.

In battle, she commonly relies on spectacles with Mystic fires and psychokinesis in order to confound, intimidate, distract, or mesmerize the foe, taking the opportunities created in the meantime to proceed to burniate all those standing in the way or launch withering assaults with psychic abilities. Her speed and agility is even greater than Delphi's.

306.gif-The Veteran

AZELSTAN

-Battle Scared, bold, and wise beyond his years. An experienced fighter unafraid of water who came into the service of Erce and Mareek after he developed some genuine respect for them and their little entourage following being defeated in a hard-fought duel between himself and The Artic Knight Brienne and as part of the wager he'd made with the Empoleon, ultimately joined the team. Much like Brienne, he serves as an extension of Erce, fully capable of stepping into the role of guardian for Mareek should the need arise for whatever reason. He prefers not to speak of his own past with his companions, simply focusing on the here and the now, not what's behind him or in front of him... for the moment is what matters to him, and he must seize it at every opportunity. There are times when he mumbles about a granddaughter though...

In battle, the elder steel type fights via exploiting his powerful defenses together with his raw strength, reinforcing his bodies fortitude to make himself like a virtual tank on the field, closing in with surprising speed and dealing terrible amounts of damage in short periods of time with his claws and horns and tail, using his entire self as a weapon. He has the very odd habit of relying on Water tactics for some reason

Theme:

Azelstan will probably be the first one obtained in the second year, followed by Delphi and then Melis, all three already fully evolved upon encountering 'cuase... fire emblem.

Can anyone guess where Azelstan's theme and character comes from? anyone? Without google?
