competitively speakg, so not neccesarily related, people pack protect/ as many fang moves as possible. Protect to get the mega or speed boos depending on the situation and then fang mves to demolish with Strong jaw. simple revenge killer/Physical glass cannon.

Pretty much,Strong Jaw boosts 3/4 of his moves(Only 3 of which are half decent, since poison fang saves from fairy's)Waterfall is there for the water stabd. -Shrug's- It gets Swords Dance+Protect so abuse that if needed.

Poison Fang would save it from the cuddly grasp of Doux the Elfuun aswell lol

I wouldn't run Destiny Bond, there are way better moves than that to run on the Pedo. I can't really recommend a certain moveset, but if you want a suggestion I'd need to know what you're looking for in Sharpedo before giving suggestions (and yes, Rough Skin is as viable as Speed Boost given how fast Sharpedo already is). Also, Mega Gyarados is a Dark Type if you don't wanna use a shark.

Now to explain the Counter thing, I figure to retaliate quickly the Pokemon would absorb the attack (the same amount of damage would be taken) and they'd retaliate with the same amount of energy along with some of their own with an attack similar power level to Mach Punch since they wouldn't have the time to reach their own maximum strength without losing some of that energy gained. Basically is a Pokemon is nailed with a Super effective earthquake, they'd hit back with a 240 power fighting attack. Mirror Coat would function the same way adding 40 power to the previous attack and be psychic.

Metal Burst I feel has a bit different effect. Instead of 1.5 attack, I feel it's more of a defensive maneuver. Anime logic says it basically it absorbs the attack and while I think that's a no, no, I like to have something similar. How about the Pokemon is only hit by 75% of the attack damage and the remaining attack is added to something similar to a magnet bomb. Basically if someone nails a Pokemon with a neutral earthquake they'll be hit by an 85 attack power (the opponent was hit by a 75 attack power).

Basically these things would be attacks, but the amount of power would depend on the move used against them. That's all I can think of to balance them out with this system (we have combos and no calculated HP now). Making the actual attacks does also throw counters in there unlike with the in-game methods. It's ultimately up to Chim what to do and I wouldn't even question banning them to stop headaches from arising.

something entirely different.

He joins the team (forces his way on more like it) in year one and thats where everything starts.

After torturing the boy psychologically and trying to control him for a short time, Erce and Java and the team becomes privy and Erce, as the boy's protector, takes it upon herself to remove the threat from their midst.

Erce royally beats his ass, destroys his ball thus releasing him- and he gets exiled the first time.

time passes, during the second year, he eventually evolves into a gothitelle on his own and goes home to the lake in the academy forest and begins stalking people again... including Galen. until Azelstan finds him, gets pissed because he's corrupting the youth, damn near kills him but holds back and ultimately tells him to GTFO or die- He leaves again, this time with no where to go and becomes a vagrant.

More time passes, he's finally able to get some type of concrete plan in place, moves against Erce and Mareek and Azelstan somehow. Final confrontation ensues somehow, and everyone knows from experience that exile is not enough- ergo... Sebastian is finally killed because he's proven himself to be too damn vindictive and dangerous to let live. at that point, if they let him go again, all of them will be dead, so it's them or him, and they're gonna choose themselves.

it basically is mroe or less the same structure as Achilles de Flandres progression during the Shadow Series by Card. He does shit and proves time and time again he's too damn dangerous to let live, and finally they kill him like is nessacary. his death is a symbol of the past finally being slain and the darkness it was engulfed in with it, and the path to the future finally beginning to open for the red head. (Basically, it's his "vader turns back to a jedi" moment)

EDIT: also, I REALLY suggest we all stop talking about moves like Safeguard and Metal Burst and Counter until Chimchain himself gives the ultimate verdict on what to do with them and just drop it for now.

the prospect of moves potentially being banned is precisely one of the reasons why I would rather wait for chimchain to be able to get a word in edge wise about issues like this (alongside the fact that it stops shit from escalating before it even has the chance to) instead of pushing the issue while he's not here... cause pushing the issue when the big cheese ain't around causes headaches, and...headaches cause issues and...issues cause shit to happen and... well, you see where I'm going with this... hence why I've kept my lips closed beyond a certain point and refrained from even bringing it up again.

eh, screw it, I'm pretty much neutral on it all at this point- I'm always gonna have a move set and a combat stratagem to fall back on regardless. I just churn out the dang things like it's no one's business...

Honestly, I can't help it sometimes. The only reason I step is in when someone is like look how broken this move or strategy is and act like they're going to use it. It's kind of ironic they're popping up now when people have been using 'em since chapter one. Why did we ignore it back then but not now? Probably because people weren't trying to exploit them. I probably could go on, but I think I got my point across.

Edit: And yes, I know I'm probably responsible for half the disputes that happen on these things. As I said, I can't help it, but I'll be trying to keep out of it from now on.

Edit 2: Zeph, if you didn't want Henry to know about that, I can change the post. I kind of just wanted to gain control back on Henry again.

inb4 Dobby says something about my Mega Sharpie still getting pwned somehow by Doux the Elfuun

and I'd rather not abuse Protect :x but okay ty

Actually Sharpedo is arguably the one attacker who could eliminate Doux without too many issues. Sure, i'd try and get a prankster stun spore off but after that I'd be stretching having Doux live anything from Pedo. plus edo is faster so i'd have to pull off some serious shenanigans to have a chance. (Of course Giga drain would absolutely Body it and Heal Doux to Elfuun)

It'd be a matter of who hits the mark first.

EDIT: Not counting things like Erce which completely check Doux with Bullet punch or some such

And I would have her add insult to injury by using vacuum wave/ sandstorm to blow the stun spore right back at doux before she went in for the punch...

That wouldnt do much besides temporarily blinding Doux tbh since gen 6 made grass types immune to powder moves. But since you're going for the bullet punch right after,it provides a good distraction for the finishing hit lol.

@Zeph

I think they have some kind of levitational ability similar to Java or something lol.

Makes me wonder why Dusknoir doesnt have Levitate since Duskull does lol....oh well Pressure is good aswell since in the manga portrayal of it(Since we don't work by pp here)it makes the opponent of the pressure wielder use twice the amount of energy...considering how Dusknoir has good defense this can be really usefull <333333.

When I looked up Sharpedo's moveset, I learned it could learn bounce. I just imagined it flying up into the air and soaring down straight into the opponent like a torpedo.

And then I looked back at Glalie's Moveset. It's so beautiful. I mean it can learn Earthquake, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball and all kinds of fun stuff. I will say Hail and Blizzard is kind of a stable given Ice Body (unless you want to see a Moody Glalie...oh god no!)

Dayum... dat eliminates the whole point of blowing shit back into our opponents faces if most of them will be immune XD...

Also, Azery, that is freaking terrifying man. Imagine if that's how it was- Pedo would be able to hover right up out of the water and make a meal out of anyone it liked... we're gonna have us...

a Sharpnado issue... I can see it now. swarms and swarms of the ferocious things, comin at you, hovering like Java... oh sweet arceus, help us all...

and Heaven forbid a dragonite or something decides to use hurricane on them...

Double Team Sharpedo go go go!

Eelektross is even worse since unlike Sharpedo this thing has levitate. That makes it's ground type weakness..well neutralized. AKA this thing can attack from land, sea and sky. We got us another issue here lol.

....is someone else actually using gravity? :o

If so that makes me happy since it can pretty much make stuff like Sharpedo literraly be a fish out of water(Unless it's constantly using surf)

It also make guys like Doux and Java sitting ducks(Which is ironic since Java IS a duck)
