CURIE
So I know the drill, rescue all the Police Officers and the Warden offers you the deceased officer's Growlithe, and tells you you're "an honorary member of the Reborn Police Department". At that point, a few NPCs (and I think cutscenes?) have different dialogue. But that's all assuming you pick up the Growlithe. I have this feeling that the Growlithe is the trigger for this alternate dialogue, not the Police Warden telling you you're a member. If I do everything up to that point, even having the guy tell me I'm a member, but then just leave the Growlithe sitting there, will the different dialogue still happen? Guest
I don't actually know the answer to this one per se, however, I'm going to assume that the dialogue will change when the guy tells you that you're a member of the RPD whether you take the Growlithe or not. I think the Pokemon itself is irrelevant, but moreso the fact that you are a member of the PD changes the dialogue. The Pokemon is probably just a reward for your hard work. However, I could be wrong.
DJ Mewdeon ft Dan Punk
So the correct answer to this question is: yes and no. The dialogue changes if you find all of the officers, the growlithe bit being one of them. Finishing this sidequest will change some scenes and dialogues (and a certain leader battle). The only thing that picking up the growlithe changes otherwise is activating the azurill trade as far as I'm aware.
derekwst3
well helping them and getting the growlithe will open a trade option for a maril, I think it also brings in the cutscene to get the bike voucher...
