This time, it's Inverted For those of you who don't know, inverted means that type matchups are reversed which means moves that are normally super effective become not very effective, and moves that are usually ineffective, become super effective! The clauses are as follows, and pretty standard; Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, Species Clause, and Self-KO Clause. If you would like to battle with additional clauses; that is between battlers to discuss. You will have until Sunday, 11:59 PM to complete all matches from the time they are posted. One more thing, this week we are forcing you to post the log of your battle. This way, we can see if something went wrong with the battle or if someone cheated. That should do it! This time and for the next 4 weeks after this one, both nations can pick 3 Pokémon to ban from the opponent's selection. Additionally, each matchup will have a seperate tier instead of all 3 matchups playing the same tier." To my understanding, it is clearly stated that the bans are for the opponent only. It´s weird to have us lacking four of our best mons in LC, specially when this ban list was not made by us due to the sheer ammount of people getting out of the competition. I browsed the forum and the only I saw about this was a quick mention/complaint by Reevelution in week 8. Actually, from this (and every) week´s Roster thread: "Nation leaders, please reply with your rosters and which 3 Pokémon you will be banning from your opponent's use!" If it is supposed to be this way it´s fine by me, I won´t discuss if the rule is good or not. Rooreeloo Posted October 7, 2014 Author Share Posted October 7, 2014 See the thing is, I didn't get an actual roster from you guys, so you kind of forced me to fill in the blanks so the way I see it I don't think there should be complaints especially for something that was known since week 8. If you didn't want this to happen then you guys should have made the roster instead of being lazy and doing what you did. Oh, if you are wondering how I picked bans, I went to the viability ranking thread and picked the top pokemon of each of your opponent's types. Unfortunately this meant something that both of you could use but, again, if you guys would have given me a roster then none of this would have happened. TL;DR: Give me an actual roster next time. Notus Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Roo, I just stated that I´m not complaining about the rule, I´m complaining about not having being told about it in any clear way. As for the roster, I think you actually did fine in picking it, and thanks for that, really. I probably wouldn´t have done better. Again, not complaining about the rule, just asking for a little more care in communication with players in the future. You know very well that the issue was not laziness though, and actually a really big crash in our nation due to reasons I don´t think I need to mention here. Now to respect the match ups thread I´ll stop posting about this and ask everybody to do the same and post only match results, as it is supposed to be. Roo, if you have anything to add that is not publicly important, please feel free to send me a PM here or in the server. Best of luck to all battlers, I really hope we have a great week! Ok, see now Heracross is listed in the tiers, both forms of the Pokemon are in the same tier so either of us could have mega evolved. We both used Hera because it wasn't listed before and it would have put in work.
